So...Keira was a rebellious Hollywood wild child but managed to maintain her virginity? Blue goes to a teammate's party at which a fight breaks out and suddenly he's going down the wrong path? A bunch of men will stand around and watch a woman they know get roughed up by a guy they hate? Blue and Keira have another pointless fight?
Perfect summary, although unfortunately I don't think the bolded part is that unrealistic. I was actually impressed that Malik intervened, and that was possibly the one good thing that happened this week. Ironically, this was one of a handful of times in the history of the show that Malik actually did something right, and he ended up getting dumped by his girlfriend for it.
Blue and Keira are just gross. Melanie and Derwin had a lot of silly fights too, but the fact that we knew they had a long history together made their relationship believable. These two have known each other only a few months if that, that time has been fraught with drama and dysfunction. He has insulted and disrespected her on several occasions, all of which seem to result in her begging his forgiveness. Then this week she does something incredibly shady to him (because snitching to the parents is way out of bounds unless somebody is in real danger,) and he drops the L-bomb out of nowhere and I guess the audience is supposed to believe they're OTP.
This season feels like bad fan fiction.
