So Method Man and Obie Trice and some others are guest'ing on CSI this Thursday. So they made a music video and spliced in some clips from the upcoming epi. Maybe I just find it hilaaaaarious to see Grissom doddling about and throwing around his eyebrow jumps with a nice gangsta beat in the background? Yes, t'is a good thing. Anyhow, here it is. Click on "Snitch" music video for "CSI" on the left side under Video.
Nothing too spoilery (if you don't read spoilers you won't really know what's going on so you won't be spoiled), just clips of them going about their CSI bizness and Nicky and Warrick looking badass tough.

(And I didn't even get to see the whole thing b/c my computer started screwing with it about halfway through or something.)
It wasn't working for me either, but it's also available at:

And why were Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler there? I wonder if they're going to play themselves in the episode.
ETA: That video minus the CSI footage was pretty...generic. It looks like something a CBS exec would make, having once heard a description of what commonly happens in rap videos but not having seen any for him- or herself. The music itself was not inspiring. Sorry, Obie Trice. You lose. I know CSI tries to grab some of that younger demographic, but at a network known for skewing towards older viewers, I guess all this rap stuff will seem authentic enough. Not that I claim to be an expert on the thug life or anything.

Nicky's hair is really growing on me, and Yay for badass Warrick.
Now that I've seen at least the first half of Poppin' Tags, Nicky's hair is not growing on me. Put the cap back on!

By the way, Canada's e-talk daily visited the CSI set while Poppin' Tags was being filmed. They did a 2 minute piece last Thursday featuring all of the CSIs.
Head over to http://www.ctv.ca/entertainment
and click on the link for eTalk visits the set of CSI 2:03 .
If it's no longer there, head over to www.omaetoy.net and look under interviews.

Has anyone seen the CSI cereal ad? It's probably only showing in Canada. It's totally goofy, and having seen it at least 3 times, I still can't remember the name of the cereal. Allegra, Allesse, something sort of musical and totally unrelated to breakfast food.
An older male in a CSI type vest slaps a mosquito on his neck as he goes over to his younger, brunette assistant who has a pink chocolate chip in a pair of tweezers. "Oh you found my tweezers" he says stupidly. Blah blah blah, the cereal has pink chips, flakes and fruit bits. "Scotty's running analysis" the serious brunette replies. A young blondish fellow wearing what looks like night vision scopes is eating the cereal. "What does it add up to?", our lead CSI asks. "Three" Scotty replies.
oy! sez I.

But it wasn't half as snarky as the Canadian Movie Channel one that was running about a year ago. There's this older guy looking at a dead body saying CSI-type stuff, then another CSI comes into the picture, munching a sandwich. The older guy's like, "WTF?!!" Sandwich-Guy's all "Dude, what's the point? No one's watching this crap; they're all turned over to the Movie Channel. This is pointless BS. You're not even that good an actor!!" Whereupon the dead body looks up and chirps, "He's right, Bill."
Personally, I think the line should have been, "He's right, David." ;) But whether they were really snarking on WP or not, it was a funny commercial. I cracked up every time I saw it.

Acapella. I saw the box at the grocery store. It's so shiny!Allegra, Allesse, something sort of musical and totally unrelated to breakfast food.
I'm a dork-- I like the very end of that commercial when Scotty's nightvision goggles drop down over his eyes and he starts looking around in broad daylight.

I've seen that cereal commercial...kinda an eye-roller. Plus, do they know what kinds of things get picked up with tweezers on CSI? Not exactly the most appetizing form of advertisment. "WTF is THAT?" "Don't know--send it for analysis." Yum.

At contactmusic.com do a search for CSI and the article will be the second on the list.
I can not understand how this woman can be so oblivious about her contract after having once been fired for breach of contract. Even if she did not read the contract herself, at the very least she should have checked with her agent and the show's producers to get clearance to pose in an ad that mimics the show.
She is my least favorite character but I really hope that this does not turn into another contract soap opera.

I hate PETA, but the ad looks pretty cool, I have to admit. Here's a link.

Billy Petersen's mother has died, as reported by the Chicago Tribune. Poor guy.
Oh, that's incredibly sad. I know that his father passed away not too long ago, and he lost his nephew just a few months ago. His parents were quite elderly and I'm sure his family is grateful for the blessing of having them both as long as they did, but how awful to lose so many people in such a short time span. And both parents as well, I really can't imagine. My heart goes out to his family.

Head over to the ninemsn Video site to see them. Note, you have to have Internet Explorer to view this site. Firefox doesn't seem to work.
If the video is not apparent when you get to the page, type either CSI or Eads in the search box.
Also, CSI has been featured on CBS' Early Show in the last few weeks. Thursday they interviewed everyone but Paul Guilfoyle and Friday, he was the interviewee. Earlier interviews from this spring can be seen at omaetoy.net.

He talks about his fight for the integrity of his character and discusses a bit about the changes in his appearance this season.

Will Brass survive after being shot last week? That's the question fans are asking entering tonight's sixth-season CSI finale, but it isn't the question they will be asking after seeing tonight's final surprising scene. To say more would spoil it, but don't tune out early. As for tonight's cases, a man's headless corpse is found on railroad tracks with a tiny 19-inch waist, and across town a man dies (or is he murdered?) during a wild night of sex, drugs and alcohol
Final scene = Grissom + Sara? It's a possibility.
