Dear Dominoes,

Fuck you and your smug-ass "artisan" pizzas which are allegedly so perfect that your customers (paying customers, mind you) are not allowed to add/remove anything on them.

Why does Burger King thinks having Jay Leno driving through their restaurant, ordering their new smoothie, chicken strips, & their garden salad would make want to try their new food items, much less eat there? It also doesn't help that Jay Leno was being his usual smug self & the stupid owner was annoying by telling me that "exciting" things are happen at Burger King. There is nothing exciting about Jay Leno ordering at a Burger King or their new menu items.

I thought David Beckam showing up was more exciting.

How DID Leno drive into that BK lobby?

Why is Leno on a commercial for anything??? Isn't he over? Didn't the Conan thing kill any popularity he may have? Do people who watch Leno even go to BK? I thought his crowd was more into buffet dinners at 4:30.

Just saw a Wendy's commercial for their new sandwich "The W". 1)I would feel stupid asking for a sandwich called "The W" and 2) Their "signature sauce" looks suspiciously like McDonald's "special sauce" a.k.a. Thousand Island Dressing

To me the "signature sauce" tasted like plain old mayo with just a little bit of roasted red pepper, rather than Big Mac sauce. Which did not endear the sandwich to me, as I consider mayonnaise something that should be kept far, FAR away from beef. (Really, I love Wendy's salads and spicy chicken nuggets, but their burgers have neither the appealing taste of Burger King's nor the great fries and shakes that accompany McDonald's bargain-basement cardboard sandwiches.)

I do have to say I like the new BK (I think it's BK) commercial with Steven Tyler. Wearing the headset at the drive-thru--'Who's that talking?' And, 'Wear a hair net, Steven'. 'Get some hair, John'. Ha! (I also like the little feathered decoration he's put on his drive-thru headset.)

I wish that Pizza Hut would stop showing up their commercial about their crummy 10 Dollar Dinner Box. There is nothing special about their boring pizza, breadsticks, cinnamon sticks, & their lame dipping sauce.

Instead of that garbage, Pizza Hut should be making pizzas like these. Here are what Pizza Hut should be making in this country instead of that 10 Dinner Dinner Box.

I have to laugh at the idea that Domino's is going to be offering gluten-free pizza. It's still the same old highly-salt-laden crap.

Pizza Hut Malaysia - Triple Chicken Sensation Pizza

Is this a real commercial or a spoof? From the video: "delightful slices of chicken loaf, succulent chicken salami, topped with fluffy chicken floss on your favorite pan pizza". It sounds awful and doesn't look any better. The chicken loaf looks nasty. Fluffy chicken floss? What the heck is that?

Dear Subway:

If you want people to try the so-called super food avocado, cut up some fresh avocado slices to put on the sandwiches. No way am I going to have that green avocado sludge smeared on any sub I get. Whenever I see it, I wonder how many preservatives are added to keep it from turning brown.

Sincerely,

InDueTime84

I thought it was supposed to be guacamole of some kind actually.

I wonder how many preservatives are added to keep it from turning brown.

A little lemon juice sprinkled on will keep guacamole from turning brown. But I do agree it would be better if they had avocado slices.

I haven't seen the commercial, but if I happen to grab a Subway sandwich during avocado season, I order it with avocado and they slice one up and add it to my sandwich. So, unless they're advertising a sandwich with guacamole, I don't know why they wouldn't show avocado slices rather than green sludge.

Lucky you. Here in the midwest, it's that scary green sludge. Which I tried once, just to see if it was possible that it tasted like guac. Oddly enough, it didn't.

Wow. Watching those McDonald's "classic" 2 for $5 commercials reminds me of just how lame Big Macs actually are. Yeah, I know, "2 all beef patties, special sauce..." (Y'all know the rest!) It's a sandwich with THREE. BUNS!!!! I mean, damn, where IS the beef?! And we all know that if those were really the "classic" McNuggets, they'd be pieces of beaks, tongues, and asses, because that's what they pretty much were until they started crowing about the "all new white meat chicken" or whatever.

Ba da da da....blech!

This stuff, I imagine: Rousong

As long as they pack it without air, it should stay green. I used to work somewhere that made guacamole and whenever we cupped it up, we had to make sure the cup was filled up completely before we put the lid on so no air would make it turn brown. Not saying that's what Subway does though, they might use preservatives.
