I'm so excited Jenna's going to be in Blades of Glory. Just look at that cast! Also, the idea of Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, and Jenna Fischer playing siblings amuses me greatly.

Where else have you spotted Office cast members?

Mr. Steve Carell is set to star in many many movies in the future, however I'm most interested in Dan in Real Life, here's a snipet from Movie Insider:

The story centers on a widower with three daughters, ages 10-17, who writes a parenting column for a local paper. While on a family reunion on the Jersey shore, he meets a woman he takes a liking to, but upon returning home, he finds out the woman is his brother's girlfriend. He then tries desperately not to fall in love with her while not breaking rules he has set up for himself and his daughters.

The reason why I'm interested in this project other than the great Steve Carell, is my favourite comedian Dane Cook is going to be opposite the man!

I love the AD-Office actor crossovers, especially since I love both shows so much. In the past, we've had Kevin and Phyllis do small roles on AD, and tonight Captain Jack was on!

Wow. That is an incredible cast. There's no way they could screw that up, right? It's got to be funny.

Someone in the old show thread (RIP) mentioned that John Krasinski was in Kinsey as the newly wed who thought oral sex made women infertile. The thing is, I remember loving that scene (and cringing), but I did not recognize John at all. I need to rewatch.

Jenna has a very small, but funny part in Undeclared, the pilot episode. Again, almost unrecognizable. The producers loved her, however, and on the DVD there's an audition scene that features her heavily.

Blink and you'll miss Jenna Fischer in a couple of episodes of Undeclared. Oh, and I was watching a repeat of 24, I think it was Day 2, and Oscar had a line as telephone operator patching Jack through to someone. It was crazy! Oscar!

eta: marya's too quick. :)

Melora Hardin was in Little House on the Prairie, which is the first time I remember seeing her. She also has a recurring role on Monk as Adrian's dead wife, Trudy.

I just watched Drop Dead Gorgeous again, which is awesome, and paid special attention to Amy Adams this time. She's such a delight; I think she's gonna be a star. Go Muskies!

Uh, Steve Carell was in The 40 Year Old Virgin. And he and Todd Packer were both in Anchorman. :P

Seriously, though, see those movies.

JK has that bank robbery movie coming up. A New Wave?

ETA: Also, on JK's imdb page, it says he's in a Christopher Guest (Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, etc) movie called "For Your Consideration" that's in post-production.

Which I'm super-excited about. I'm a big Christopher Guest fan, and I've been psyched about this project since I first heard about it, but it's really cool that JK's in it. Can't wait!

Uh, Steve Carell was in The 40 Year Old Virgin.

So was Mindy/Kelly (as the girl Paul Rudd's character was obsessed with). Jenna said she can be seen in one of the bar scenes, and her and Phyllis's speaking scenes from the movie got cut. Phyllis played Steve's Mom.

Leno mentioned that JK is a voice in the animated film Doogal. It's not listed on IMDB, and I can't find another reference that lists JK as attached to it though.

And let's not forget, as I so excitedly discovered, that David Denman was Skip on AtS. I don't know why, but it makes me giddy everytime I mention it!

Phyllis played Steve's Mom.

But...but they graduated high school in the same year. Even with the early birthday...

I love Anchorman. (My sister and I randomly yell "Milk was a baaaad choice" at each other all the time) I can't believe I never recognized Packer in that role.

I don't know why, but it makes me giddy everytime I mention it!

Because Skip was a much-needed breath of fresh air. David Denman always delivered his lines in such a great deadpan.

David Denman was also Wallace Schiff in the X-Files episode "Field Trip". That's what I know him best from, so I still sort of see him as Wallace even now.

Yeah, John K was the guy in Kinsey. He plays, well, Jim. It's almost an audition for Jim, if Jim were going to be talking about oral sex.

And yes, it is as painful as it sounds. The scene, not the oral sex.

Wasn't Steve Carell in Bruce Almighty playing... an anchorman?

Also Jenna was in an episode of That 70's Show playing a really hot character who the girls wanted to be like.

I saw John in Law & Order a few years ago, playing a jock who was doing drugs and he was fantastic. It was a serious role, too, and he was just amazing. I hope he gets good movie parts in more dramas. But bigger parts than in "Jarhead".

I can't believe no one has shouted-out Amy Adams in Junebug. She's brilliant in that and not only did she get some of the best reviews of the year but she may even win an Oscar (and she should) for it!

Rainn Wilson was Arthur on Six Feet Under, a character who's probably odder than Dwight.

Just looked up Melora Hardin on IMBD and, in addition to Little House on the Prairie, here are some of her other incredible credits:

8. Dynasty: The Making of a Guilty Pleasure (2005) (TV) .... Linda Evans
45. "Mann & Machine"
- Torch Song (1992) TV Episode .... Louise Trotsky
48. Lambada (1990/I) .... Sandy Thomas
51. "Dirty Dancing" (1988) TV Series .... Frances "Baby" Kellerman
53. Soul Man (1986) .... Whitney Dunbar
... aka The Imposter (USA: alternative title)
54. "Hotel"
... aka Arthur Hailey's Hotel
- Heroes (1986) TV Episode .... Beth
55. Iron Eagle (1986) .... Katie
59. Little House: Look Back to Yesterday (1983) (TV) .... Michele Pierson
60. "Magnum, P.I."
- Luther Gillis: File #521 (1983) TV Episode .... Nancy Perkins Gillis
61. "Quincy"
... aka Quincy, M.E.
- Next Stop, Nowhere (1982) TV Episode .... Abigail 'Abby' Garvin
- Never a Child (1979) TV Episode .... Amanda
66. "Diff'rent Strokes"
- Skin Deep (1980) TV Episode .... Emily Morehouse
68. "The Love Boat"
- Double Wedding/Ventriloquists, The/Julie Falls Hard (1978) TV Episode .... Courtney

And, perhaps best of all, the following:

1. The 61st Annual Academy Awards (1989) (TV) .... Herself - Performer (Break-Out Super Stars of Tomorrow Musical Number)

If you've ever seen one of those weird segments, just imagine Jan hoofing it. So funny!

Someone's got to have a tape of this.

Searching for her, I find out that Melora Hardin has a website - and a CD! (Wow, she can really sing.)

Angela Kinsey is in a short film called Career Suicide. You can watch it at the link. It's funny--she's so different in this role, you must watch it.

If you don't, it's unacceptable.

I must say I'm very excited about Lollilove. It comes to DVD on March 7 and I'll be renting it for sure. The reviews I've read it have compared it to This is Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman and other Christopher Guest mockumentaries. In other words -- good enough for me! Looking at the cast, it also has Jason Segel and Linda Cardellini from Freaks and Geeks. Freaking awesome.

Rainn was Rudy Gunn in Sahara. And yes, it was a dreadful movie, but one that doens't take a lot of brain power to watch. He did a good job of playing a normal scientist type - not a creepy type. He's a good actor, because the portrayal was so different from Dwight.

Here's one for all the Buffy fans in the forum:
Amy Adams played Tara's cousin in the episode where her Dad and brother came and tried to take Tara back with them. So along with David Denman, I do have a soft spot for Amy if only for that one episode!

Trudy! I thought that I recognized her. She's the newer Trudy though, isn't she? Rainn Wilson was in a season two episode of Monk as an obsessed baseball fan (with a scary dog). It's not one of the better episodes (Wilson is the only bright aspect, aside from the main cast), and Wilson's part isn't very big, but the characters' reactions to Wilson get me every time. :)
