Also, the YED was flirting with Sam. "Sammy, you're my favorite..." made my skin crawl. Uh, no. Get your hands off him. Eww.

Yeah, my brother was all like "He sounds like that creepy uncle that likes to sit in the corner of the playroom, just watching..."

I did get HoYay vbes when Bobby was talking to Dean and holding his face and grabbing his collar. I swear if Ellen hadn't popped he would've started making out with him.

Just popping in to say: Oh yeah.

Dean and Bobby 4ever!

I swear, there's been something going on between those two from day one. They're always sneaking looks at each other, and when they part ways (Devil's Trap,Born Under a Bad Sign), Dean gives Bobby a lingering glance before going out the door (sometimes even giving a curt little nod of the head -- yeah I know it means thanks for your help, but...).

On another ship...
Isn't it interesting that one of the first things Andy asked Sam was whether Dean was there? I think his tone sounded just the tiny bit hopeful.

Couple that with his obvious glee for gay porn and the fact that it was his idea to try to contact Dean, and I'm sensing an interest.

Hee. Andy definitely knocked Ash out of the running for Number One Deangirl in that episode.

Aw, Andy.

Hello, is anyone here. I thought we should bring the hoyay back.

Sam and Dean are getting very Flowers in the Attic. Sam was like five feet away when Dean was having sex. And what did Sam think he would find when he opened that door?

And then there's always the Dean and Bobby intimacy.

Ah, Bobby cares about what Dean eats for breakfast. Dean may be dying, but Bobby still cares about what he puts into his body.

It's also good to know that they've moved forward enough in their relationship that Dean can tease Bobby when he's looking fine. They were totally acting like a couple at the store.

Was I the only one who thought Gordon and Jesus-guy (what's his name...Kubrick, is it?) had a moment right after he killed him? It's just the composition of the shot was quite...intimate.

The thing that really caught my attention was that the vampire guy, after kidnapping Gordon, tied him down on his back, spread eagle....yet all the girls where chained up by their hands to the ceiling.

I'm 100% convinced that Gordon had a total mancrush on Dean. It was evident in Bloodlust and Hunted, but was brought full force here. Gordon, distraught that Dean would never let him in, turned towards the arms of another (Kubrick). It was just rebound though, so it didn't last long. Kubricks death scene was impossibly slashy, btw.

But Gordon smelling Dean's scent in the phone store, you just know he stole one of Dean's shirts and slept with it every night to get accustomed to the smell. Screw vamp senses, it's all about the creepy.

And Gordon biting Dean when he hadn't bit anyone else (except maybe guy in car...). Very erotic and you just know that Gordon decided then and ther e that he *wasn't* going to kill himself after offing Sam - he was going to turn Dean and have them spend all eternity with each other.

Or, you know, something.

Julorean, you were most definitely not the only one! The Gordon/Kubrick was a beauty to behold. The head rest and the "I'm sorry" killed me. And think about it! Even before Gordon was vamped out, it was probably still an angsty forbidden love because of Kubricks extreme religiousness! Gotta love Hoyay with angst.

And yes, I'm on board the Dean and Gordon train too. He BIT him, people! Causing Dean to make a face like this

I feel bad for the poor guy, he's an Angel, he's already angsty enough without having to deal with this new feeling. And plus, every time Castiel looks in the mirror, he probably has sinful thoughts about himself anyway, so adding Dean into the mix? He's gonna be kicked out of hell in no time.

....and then it won't be wrong . .

Hi guys! I'm currently writing a paper for a class and I have three questions for anyone who is a fan of Wincest (whether they think it is cannon or no.) This paper is about American cultural cues to communicate two people are involved in a sexual or romantic relationship. Part of this paper is actually discussing incest. (I also talk about the Petrellibros.)

Because I wasn't sure if this was posting "board on boards", I've linked the questions to my LJ. If you could please follow the link and answer them there, that'd be totally awesome.

LJ

Ummm...if I shouldn't be posting this, please let me know, I'll get rid of it. This wasn't something the FAQ's were very specific about.

Thank you guys so very much for any response you can give me! It'll be super helpful!

Hi roboticbaggins, I went to your LJ but I can't post there because I'm not a member so I will answer your questions here.

My personal opinnion is that as human beings, we desire a life partner who is also our best friend. Watching Sam and Dean trust each other with their lives and expirience incredible chemestry every week, just makes me wish I had a boyfriend with whom I could share the same things and feel just as safe and taken care of.

I am only halfway through season 2, but so far I can't honestly say there has been any indication that there is anything going on between the two of them, except for fraternal love and the eternal fear of losing the only family memeber they've got. So, Wincest to me is not cannon (but I sure as hell like reading about it).

Their relationship often reminds me of that of Mulder and Scully's. We knew that they loved each other very much, putting themselves on the line for the other, but it took us 6 years to actually see them kiss. And for those 6 long years we squealed at every single sporadic hug and random innuendo.

Hope this helps :D

Man, Castiel needs to hurry back quick. Dean was so ready to cheat on him this week.

I love that instead of appearing as a hottie stripper with a set of Double D's, the Siren took on the form of an FBI agent who loves cars and hard rock as much as Dean.

Taking the Greek mythology theme a step further. Is it homoerotic, or simply narcisstic that Dean's dream man was basically himself?

"I can give him what he wants and it's not some chick in a G-string."

Okay, now the writers are just teasing us.

Thanks alltheravens for your response, it's very helpful.

And yes, I think a lot about that last episode was very much the writers messing with us because they've figured out about the ppl on the internet who are into ho/broyay! I feel it was more of a shout out than anything else.
As for the Greek mythology stuff, I'm going with homoerotic, possibly because I think Dean would identify someone like himself as someone like his father (his dad who liked the music and the cars and all that) more than he would realize they were like him. Tho...Dean's dream person being like his father....that's a whole 'nother issue.

Hello, roboticbaggins. *waves* Just to let you know that I've gone to that link you provided, to give my opinion on your points. ETA: Forgive my typos in that post, in particular the "hug part of the fandom" bit, heh.

"I can give him what he wants and it's not some chick in a G-string."

Okay, now the writers are just teasing us.

I think the key part is what he said just next: "It was you." (and I love the writer for that, and the producers as well for giving their go-ahead to that line.)

And I have also the view of alltheravens:

My personal opinnion is that as human beings, we desire a life partner who is also our best friend. Watching Sam and Dean trust each other with their lives and expirience incredible chemestry every week, just makes me wish I had a boyfriend with whom I could share the same things and feel just as safe and taken care of.

Not to mention this type of boyfriend being that "gorgeous" (I cannot help it. I'm completely shallow). But:

Their relationship often reminds me of that of Mulder and Scully's. We knew that they loved each other very much, putting themselves on the line for the other, but it took us 6 years to actually see them kiss. And for those 6 long years we squealed at every single sporadic hug and random innuendo.

At least the writers in X-files had the vision of, you know, NOT having the characters be siblings. I didn't follow that show, but I watched the movie, and saw that they ended up as a romantic couple.
