Bee, I think you should rename the thread "Jensen Ackles: All That and Freckles Too". Jared's thread should be "Jared Padalecki: Sweet Boy in the Hat" (because I saw this picture).

Jensen's official newsletter website says his eyes are "hazel-green." Look at any high quality close-up with bright lighting and you'll see there's a great deal of green in them ... along with the "sunshine" of course.

Mom's got hazel eyes. All hazel eyes will look green under the correct circumstance. But as mmmmAlec I noticed they sometimes look blue as well.

In the name of research I think we should all stare at them for several solid hours...

If you look at one of the high definition photos of Jensen in natural sunlight you can see the big green flecks in his eyes, as well as gold. "Hazel-green" is actually the perfect description of his eyes. I've only seen them look blue when the lighting is blue around him, and I've also noticed they mostly look brown on SN, but that's because of the weird washed out quality of the film. In the publicity stills, if you zoom in, they're definitely greenish-gold.
