The Biggest Loser (Australia)

That article doesn't reveal what the ratings actually are.
The big problem is that the Australia reality shows seem compelled to pound shows to death with thrice weekly airings, over months. People complain about US shows having 22 show seasons, but this is even worse.
Did the outrage/reporting on the US Biggest Loser "scandal" (with the winning contestant who wound up looking like she'd been trapped on a desert island for six months) play in Australia? Because if it did, maybe that soured viewer perceptions (and ratings) of the show too much even in Oz for the show to not be affected (although they're STILL bringing the damn thing back in the US, even though they SHOULDN'T).

It got some minor coverage, but even then we had a winner with exactly the same problem in, like, season two. We even nicknamed him Skeletor on here.
