I have this picture in my documents, because a friend of mind sent it to me after liking her hair-do. I thought, "poor little punk girl thinks she can be a model." And I'm so proud of her for proving me wrong.

Whoa!!! Nargis and Rachel are the bomb! Their pictures are far better than Eva's and Fucking Yoanna's post show pics could ever be. Nargis and Rachel definitely look high fashioned in their pics. Janice would have definitely pulled for Rachel.

No, that was Amy. Nargis was the one who came back for a 2nd tryout, and showed no passion for the work.

I don't think it was a lack of passion, she was just brutally honest at the wrong moment, ala Julie. Instead of making up this bullshit story about "modelling is way for me to express myself and inspire people", she said "it's a job".
I was disappointed she got cut, she's prettier than so many girls who made it.

I'm sorry, but I'm having a total brain fart. Who was Rachel again? and what season was she from? Seems as if she's doing way better than the winners of this show. Naima must be pissed if she saw Rachel's pics.

Rachel was on Season 3 and I believe she made the top 20. She was the one that was crying in the bathroom after not making the Top 14 and at that time, she had the horrendous "skunk" hair. Her pictures are great though. Anyone know what agency she is signed too?

Rachael looks freakin' amazing in the photos. i wonder what her opinion is of her breakdown in the bathroom now?

she's way too good for the show.

i have a model friend here in Phx that auditioned for ANTM & wasn't chosen. she is currently a working model with Ford. it's a shame that the show can't be more truthful instead of just "good television".

You know, when watching the Cycle 3 casting episode, I can remember seeing Rachael walking out of the judging room in her swimsuit and thinking "Wow, she's got a BIG ass for a model." Now I see her on Project Runway, and look what happens? Her ass is hanging out of her dress! Granted, it does look smaller than it did on ANTM, but it seems this poor girl is doomed to have her ass bouncing around on national TV for all time.

Someone remind me--what was the reason Tyra gave for cutting Rachael in the first place? I seem to remember her focusing on something totally ridiculous like Rachael's haircut/color. As if that wouldn't be changed in the makeover episode anyway?

Aww, Nargis is my all-time favorite ANTM reject. She looks pretty in those pictures, but I think they're kind of missing something, somehow. Fierceness, no doubt.

And even though she did make it into the final 14 (or whatever number season 2 had), since she is pictured in that livejournal page, I must say that Sara is the most overrated ANTM contestant ever.

From my own recollection, Tyra didn't say that Rachel wasn't placed in the finals because of her hair color. After eliminating her, Tyra hugged a crying Rachel and said that perhaps red hair or dyeing her hair a different color would get her noticed.

LingPetunia, I think that Mary only wants to be on TV. Why else would she keep trying out? Tyra isn't the only way that she get into modeling and I'm pretty sure that she knows that. I felt sorry for her in cycle 4, but when I heard that she tried out again, I didn't. Like I said, it's obvious that she just wants to be on TV.
