...though they all take you to the same place.
I've posted a number of things on the site that I hope VM fans will enjoy...
The original pilot script
The original cold open
The original Lilly-found-in-the-ocean library scene
Many of our favorite soundbites
Backgrounds on the writers on staff
My original project notes
A Veronica Mars noir desktop art poster that I had commissioned for our season 1 crew gift.
I really wanted to have the site up by the time new episodes started airing, and we're making it just in time. (The process was delayed a bit by the birth of my first child on Thursday, little Greta Mae Thomas -- mother and child happy and healthy.)
I think these final seven episodes (in a row!) are going to be a great ride. Thanks for the ongoing, rabid support. It means so much.
I hope you dig the site.

(At least I remembered not to put my name this time!)

Oh, I'll dig it, don't you worry. I'll dig and dig all the way through it until there's nothing left, and I have to return to writing my thesis. Which is due tomorrow. Will the procrastination never cease?
Thank you, slaverat, oh so much, for your wonderful show, your respect and consideration for your fans, and your provision of procrastination sites. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter!

Also, I'm currently reading Rats Saw God. Based on the book's timeline, I like to think that when Steve listens to KTRU, I'm DJing at the time.

Yes! Oh my God, so funny.Your Career Highlights section is an absolute riot! I couldn't help but laugh out loud, which got me some very strange looks from my office mates....
Shhh...(And technically, doesn't signing your handle count as signing your post...?)
Congratulations on the new baby! Greta Mae Thomas...her initials are GMT! Like Greenwich Mean Time! I am weird.
ETA:
Wait a sec, KTRU's in the book? Like, the Rice radio station? Dude! Awesome! (I went to Rice.) (Hey, and hold on a sec: as a corollary...you went to Rice? Cool! What college?)I like to think that when Steve listens to KTRU

Thanks so much for giving us some more toys to play with. Also, thank you for having AOL release VM's pilot ep for download. Good call, that.

"I like this case ... it's tawdry."
"Veronica Mars is smarter than me."
Love the .mp3s and the site is altogether awesome! Congrats and thank you, Rob! Also have to single out the music page for a shout-out. Great to have that info collected on one page.
More importantly, congrats on Greta Mae.

Very nice site, and congratulations on the birth of your new daughter. This will definitely give you more insight into Keith and Jake Kane's "parenthood" as it were... Especially, since they both have daughters ;-)
also enjoy the original pilot script and project notes you included.
It is great to see a cursory "treatment" for Veronica Mars and is facinating to see the creative process at work. You are very organized and thorough in your preparation before writing and it shows in the final product we see each week.
Kudos to you and your staff for creating such an outstanding show!
