The thing is that it's not a stray bullet or anything- it's attempted murder. Wow. Good way of writing JLM out for RENT... I wonder if he's going to try to be gangsta undercover again and this time they actually realize that it's a bad cover.

Due to my unbridled love and lust for Green (HOT!), I don't know if I will be able to handle his impending attempted murder. Oh, who I am I kidding? I'll bet he's totally hot when he gets shot. That should be the tagline for the ep -- "Green: Hot'n'Shot."

Is it bad that I hope he gets shot in the leg so there is a scene where they have to remove his pants -- like rip them totally off in a very professional and hot EMT sort of way -- so we can see Hot Pantsless Green?

I vow to hate his temporary replacement. I don't care if I end up liking him. I'll stay true to my man. And if Tricky Dick pulls a fast one and decides to kill off Green, I'll, well, I don't know what I'll do. It might involve wine, a chocolate cake, and lots of tears.

Does anyone know when this all goes down? I'm assuming it's soon.

Someone over in the SVU spoiler thread mentioned an InsideTv article that said there would be an SVU/mothership crossover for an episode called Flaw. No details on the air date, but they also mentioned that this is the first episode that Jesse L. Martin will return.

Okay, guess my spoiler source was wrong. That sounds just like every other SVU episode. Guess they have to mix it up. Hopefully, there's an interesting twist. After watching the L&O marathons on TNT and USA today, I realized just how much of this show I watch. I have seen every episode that aired at least two to three times. I need new episodes!

November 23rd episode looks like a good one! I love me some McCoy. I'm amazed they haven't put him on a hit list before now.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that it happened off screen. Five years ago would be season 11 and the only multiple murder case in that season was "School Daze" where Jaime Ross returned to defend the student who shot up the school.

Season 10 had two multiples- "Gunshow" and "Fools for Love"

None of the three seem likely candidates.

I'm still looking forward to it though. I'd like them to bring back the little girl from "Killerz" all grown up and still a psychopath.

I'd add Entitled (Season 10) and Hubris (Season 11) to that list. Hubris had the guy who killed four people and then represented himself in court. I'm just mentioning Entitled on principle; having done that case twice already, I doubt they'd bring it back out again (if they did, I'd have to sit through another SVU crossover, gah!).

But yeah, I vote it's an offscreen killer.

I hear that. It will be good to see Paul again, though I doubt any dramatic tension will come of it given the show's current sad state. Still, as a fan of old school L&O, I can't wait.

Actually, a couple of episodes look good for this sweeps period.

Risking a double post here since its been a while.

The preview tonight for next week's episode said the killer was busted nine years ago, not five. Did I hear this wrong? This would've been '96, which means McCoy's second or third season on the series. Did they show the killer in the preview, or does anyone have cast information?

I believe that they did show the killer, and he looked familiar to me but all the law and order actors look familiar to me now so I really don't know.

Is McCoy really going to be killed off? Or is this just a classic sweeps fake-out? Or is Sam leaving for awhile to do a movie like Martin did?? I am so confused, but that have at least enticed me to watch tomorrow night.

Isn't this exactly the same plot for an episode that came on during the Rohm years? I had to read the episode description again to make sure it wasn't a rerun.
