The terms that we've invented for Survivor, or have had invented for us:

Pagong (verb): to Pagong, meaning to go into the merge with a majority or better strategic planning, and one-by-one, take down the rest of the opposing players. Also implies a certain amount of ineptitude or lack of game knowledge.

Rotu (verb): to Rotu, meaning to have a powerful alliance in position to win the game but by hubris, poor gameplay, or both to find your alliance voted off quickly. Implies a swift and ugly fall.

Any others I'm missing or haven't been mentioned?

Good thread, but not exactly right on the definitions thus far. I don't think Rotu as a verb is part of the lexicon here.

Pagong \pä - 'go[ng]\ (verb) -ed -ing: The systematic elimination of one tribe/alliance by another in a post-merge situation. In Vanuatu, the women Pagonged most of the men, but Chris snuck through and won.

PRoD \'präd\ (noun): The Purple Rock of Death. Last seen in a tie-breaker in the Marquesas, in which it eliminated Paschal in a fit of irony. Also, the last tie-breaker situation seen in Survivor. Ever since the Marquesas, no one has gone for a tie since everyone fears the PRoD.

We can now add two new words to the lexicon

Ulong \ü - 'lo[ng]\ (verb) -ed -ing: The systematic elimination of one tribe by another in a pre-merge situation. This can be due to the winning tribe's dominance, the losing tribe's ineptitude, or a combination of both. If Drake hadn't decided to throw that one immunity challenge, they could have totally Ulonged the Morgan tribe.

Koror \kō - 'rôr\ (verb) -ed -ing: The absolute domination of one tribe/alliance over another. Even after the switch, Rotu still Korored the other tribe.

Janu Place \jä ∙ noo plās\ n. A mental state of complacency and acceptance of one’s imminent dismissal, often characterized by social withdrawal and evident depression. Caryn is in the Janu Place.

A new entry!

Quobst \kwohbst\ noun: A really good and quotable line spoken by Probst, preferably as Snarky Probst.

"Dave, still naked" is a quobst for the ages.

Shaqueela or Shaqueelah \'ʃə∙kwi∙lə\ n. A long speech about playing with integrity. From Dreamz' mangling of the word 'soliloquy' in Episode 4 of Fiji.

Amanda-cide: The Final Tribal Council implosion of a player whom either was (or who was edited so that we would believe was) a strong contender for winner.

Example: "Damn, xyz had this thing in the bag until they committed Amanda-cide at FTC."

"Playing the game" / "For the experience"

Survivor contestants, regardless of race, can be divided into two categories: people who "play the game" and play to win, and people like Gabe in Marquesas who apply and go on Survivor "for the experience."

So, then, is it by chance that one person each time, each season of Survivor, wins $1 million at the end of the game/season? Could someone like Gabe in Marquesas come in, enjoy "the experience" of Survivor, and win $1 million by chance? Do you get what I'm saying?

"On the outs"

Means on the outside of a tribe or an alliance, which effectively gives the person on the outs a chance to "switch it up," get some people in the minority, who aren't in the alliance, usually of four people, together, and vote off someone in the majority alliance.

Riding coattails: \rahy-ding kōt'tāls'\ (noun): What you must have done- or what the jury will say you have done- to be a woman in the F2 or F3 with a man, especially one in any way dominant in any aspect of the game.

Flying Under the Radar (FUTR): To make it deep into the game without winning any challenges or appearing to be a schemer. May or may not belong to the dominant alliance. Best example: Sandra, winner of Pearl Islands.

Challenge Monster: One who wins the majority of challenges, or at least looks like they're going to. Best example: Colby in Australia.

Challenge Threat: One who simply appears to be able to win challenges, with or without having done so. Best example: Among many, James, Tom Westman.

I agree with you that Colby is a challenge monster, but I would say that James is a challenge threat, whereas Tom Westman is a challenge monster like Colby Donaldson and Terry Deitz.

Schultzing: A stubborn refusal to admit that one knows anything about a problematic topic, no matter how obvious the lie is.
Most common example:
"So, who are you voting for tonight?"
"I know nothing! Nothing!"

Pixelbait: An item of clothing that attracts pixels, such as Amanda's shorts.

This is true, before the awesomeness of Palau introduced the concept of "man-strength" into Survivor lexicon, conventional wisdom would have dictated that Bobby-Jon (or Ankle Jeff; or Ibrehem) would have dominated the challenges. But none of that happened, and Koror dominated both the team and individual challenges, with Tom taking out BJ one on one in many occasions.

which brings us to -

"Man Strength" : Intangible reservoir of will that "older" men can tap into to thrash their younger gym bunny counterparts. See examples - Mike Skupin v. Colby, Rupert (ugh) v. Osten, Tom v. Bobby Jon, Terry v. Aras..

I added a page in the wiki for the abbreviations and slang we commonly use, and included a link to this thread.

Saw a promo earlier tonight that prompted me to bring up this thread with a new probable term!:

Alpha Moron \ˈal-fə ˈmȯr-ˌän\ noun : A contestant, most likely male, with all their brains in their biceps, and not as much of either as they think.

It appears that Survivor: One World has a pair of alpha morons with self-given nicknames of "Tarzan".
