So what is your favorite X-files webpage?
Do you have you own?
Or do you prefer word of mouth on boards?

Post a link to your favorite websites and pass along your favorite daily hide-a-way.

Well, first and foremost I have to give it up to two sites - The XF Transcript Site:
http://www.insidethex.co.uk/
And the XF Screen Grab Archive:
http://xfphotos.fredfarm.com/
They are both invaluable in my XF natterings, no doubt.

And here are some others I like:
RoadRunners - another great site for episode captures:
http://www.xfroadrunners.com/
The XF Timeline:
http://www.themareks.com/xf/
More DVD captures:
http://www.chrisnu.com/
FanFic from the one and only Slippin' Mickeys (with the sexiest photo of DD ever - that's one lucky finger):
http://www.geocities...03/slippin.html
Great XF Standby - HAVEN:
http://community.ide...orums/index.php
A very nice and current fan site:
http://trust-no-01.com/index.html
One person's breakdown of the mythology that I don't necessarily agree with, but applaud the effort:
http://www.geocities.../9013/myth.html
The Carterphile:
http://www.carterphile.com/
Spotnitz's blog - especially in hopes of new movie news:
http://www.biglight.com/blog/

Aw! Look at you, ejl, posting my fanfic site. That, incidentally, is my favorite. picture. EVER. I made my webmistress use it when she designed my site, low these many years ago.

Although it's been dormant for 3 years now, all the content of The Order of the Blessed Saint Scully the Enigmatic (www.obsse.com) is still online for perusal. That used to be a delightful, demented place.

The X-Files In-Jokes List is fun for folks who like lists. I particularly like the Lists & Stats section.

Look at it and see, silly. Okay, if I must explain, it's a fan site that grew out of the episodes which indicated that the almighty kept Scully on speed dial. OBSSE is a pretend nunnery built around the theme that Scully is their patron saint.

Slip, I had no idea - no idea - that you had your own fanfic site. Now I have a reason to read some fanfic. And actually commit to all the ideas my head spins when I'm not looking. I'll have to find some time to check it. (And, I don't rate that photo, by the way. People are funny, huh?)

Slip -- Do you still write fanfic? When were these done?

It's a shame Haven was never able to restore itself as a full site after it was hacked. I was over there every day the last season and a half the show was on. Before that, I'd never really looked for spoilers but around mid S8 I started looking ahead to see where in the hell they were going. It really was a haven for a lot of folks on 9/11 when people couldn't get through on the phone -- those forums became a real-time news feed. I'll always remember it for that. I was on the Haven instead of parked in front of CNN.

I had a recent attack of nostalgia for my favorite little, now-defunct, X-Files website: Mulder and Scully Hate Each Other. It's definitely in the "delightfully demented" category - an intentionally completely over the top noromo site. It's small and weird, but stuff like the comics and the poetry/"hatefic" in the archive still crack me up.

That Mulder and Scully hate each other website? That's hilarious! I can't believe I've never heard of that site before!

These had me cracking up!:

Common Mispellings of MASHEO And What They Mean
By Sai

BASHEO-Biscuit And Scully Hate Each Other. Not really classifiable as a mispelling, this refers to the Gerry "biscuit cult" that sprang up in early 2000. This pre-Duchovny-signing-for-Season-Eight cult claimed that Duchovny would be replced not by another actor, but by two biscuits. Also occasionally seen is BABHEO, Biscuit And Biscuit Hate Each Other. Our MASHEO anthropology team is currently working with our archaeology department to find out more about how these "biscuit cultists" lived.[3]

MARSHMALLOW-Mulder And Raging Scully Have Massive Altercation, Loudly, Like Old Women. You know, the kind that have lost their hearing aids. Only these two want everyone to know how much they Hate each other, so they turn up the volume when they fight.

Speaking of funny and strange XF websites, I came across this one devoted to Pendrell not too long ago. It features an obituary, a memorial ring and other Pendrellisms. Theres even a banner that reads: "Never Forget March 23, 1997"

Gosh, I remember all the biscuit jokes on the Xfiles Delphi forums. Can you please tell me the significance of a biscuit?

There was a lot of cross-over between MASHEO and the Delphi forum Noromo folder, which is why the biscuit thing appears in both places. It started at Delphi: When the rumors were flying about whether DD would sign on for S8, how much money he wanted, etc., sombody tried to float the "rumor": "DD does S8 for 2 dollars and a biscuit." This mutated into "DD does S8 for 2 biscuits" and somebody then thought it would be more interesting the other way around: "2 biscuits do S8 for DD." Further strangeness ensued, as you witnessed. If you still have your Delphi/Prospero account, the original threads are all still there (search the Noromo folder for a thread called "Get rid of DD! Two biscuits for S#8!" and other "biscuit" appearances).

Yes, it's very very sad that I know all this. It was all forgotten and re-learned in my recent attack of nostalgia.

Another website that's fun to visit is Fi's Place, it contains all these manips of Mulder and Scully in shippy and erotic situations. Yes, some are ridiculous and obvious but it's good for a laugh anyway.

Can anyone tell me if there is a site out there where I can download video clips of GA's appearances on David Letterman or Leno? Also, there was a site posted, somewhere, in some thread, of a site with blooper reel downloads (huge MB downloads), but his site said they were offline until Sept. Anyone know anyplace else to get these bloopers? I love bloopers, and am desperate to see some!

Try here. Though I'm afraid I can't help you on the blooper front. Try eBay. You can probably find a VHS copy. It'll be dubbed three million times and in super crappy shape, but if your love for bloopers runs deep, I'm sure you won't care.

This link isnít about the show The X-files, but about real life unexplained phenomena. I usually check it out when I want a quick x-files type fix. Mostly, I check out the links to news articles from around the world, but sometimes I browse the message boards where people can post about the weird occurrences that they have experienced.

I subscribe to FORETEAN TIMES! Great magazine and I like that they are far from accepting of everything they report as 100% true - they're appropriately suspicious. I enjoy it immensely...

Wow, Fox, that one set to "Pompeii" is pretty much the coolest Action!XF vid I've ever seen. Put a huge grin on my face. Nice editing! I could never have the patience to splice all those ep-scenes together with such precision.

Heh thanks, Ali. Too bad I can't email Krystal my newest videos, due to overwhelming bigness. They are jam packed with more than 100 clips. Pompeii version 2 has 68 different clips spliced together, and took approximately 12 hours to complete. Yes, I had too much time during winter break.
