The new place to chat about the HoHs, crazy airplane messages and all that stuff. BTW, if you are looking for the spiritual successor to the BB Meet Market thread go to the ANTM MM thread and you'll find your old buddies hanging out there.

And considering her long history of unflattering outfits, this still wins.

Just thought i'd share with you all that I actually bumped into Karen from Big Brother 5 last week while I was working. When I first saw her I started running through all the different scenarios of how I should react in my head (the way i was internally freaking out, you'd think i'd just bumped into Julia Roberts): I could (a)just think it cool i bumped into her, and tell all of my friends, coolly, that i saw a reality tv show contestant at work or (b)be totally obnoxious and make a scene and ask her a million questions. Needless to say, I opted for plan B. I was all "KAREN!" and her husband Larry was obviously thrilled that i recognized her. Another co-worker of mine jumped in (we watched faithfully and discussed the latest episodes the next day at work) and we both chatted with her for a pretty decent amount of time. I asked her about Drew, told her I was in love with him for two months over the summer (heh) and she looked at me with the typical Karen like-I-haven't-heard-this-a-million-times-before expression and proceded to tell me that he had the personality of a wet sponge (and Larry made a point to pipe in with his disgust at Drew shaving his entire body). So funny they were. Anyways, I was totally psyched. They made my day. And I got a signed headshot from Karen. YAY!

I'm just stunned... :-P

Poor girl was so upset she couldn't put together a coherent sentance or, like Jonathan the Ass for TAR, discern 'your' from 'you're'; but then we all 'seen' the break-up coming too. *snark!*

DianeI seen the break-up coming just like I seen my eviction coming. It’s like one minute everything’s fine, then the next minute your getting the boot and you don’t even know why.

Like. Oh my god! *roll eyes*

ETA: I actually read that whole thing and she saves the best for last:

I also want to send a special thanks to Scott for actually being there for me when Drew dumped me.

So. Many. Jokes. So. Little. Time.

I saw the Vh-1:Big Brother special this weekend. Not sure if this was new or not, but it was new to me.

The weirdest part was how they pretend that the craptacular season one just didn't exist. Other than showing the winner once or twice, they pretty much just ignored it altogether.

And Nicole with that horrendous purple eye-shadow from hell, just looked as awful as ever.

Dr. Will? Still love.

Mike Boogie and Krista - Still hate.

It's nice when things don't change....

I am so bummed that I missed this, and VH1 doesn't seem to be reairing it any time soon.

Would you be willing to recap the highlights? Or lowlights- whichever you would prefer.

On another board I frequent they mentioned that Michael(Cowboy) and April got married. They have a website which features some of their wedding pictures. As I casually thumbed through or as they magically changed I kept wondering what the wonderful TWOP people would think of them So, heres a link http://www.michaelcowboyellis.net/. I hope that works. Tell me what you guys think.

Ok, after the way Jase treated him in the final show, I lost a lot of my Scott-hate. But the fact that he's making the same "white guy on the dance floor" face in every photo is bringing it all back.

Of course, then there's the photo of him buying stickers for Chasen, which is adorable. Damn him!

I can't believe he had Scott and Drew in his wedding party. Where's the 4th musketeer?

Well, I have to say that purple satin isn't flattering to anyone. Bless her. And that dress wasn't the best choice she could have made for her figure, but she does look happy so that's great. I thought it was strange there weren't any pics of the two of them together out of the first batch of pictures. And I do have to say that the boys are positively smokin in their white shirts and cowboy hats. I'm from Texas, I like that sort of thing. Shoot me.

eta: Hee, they went to Calhoun's in Sherman. I've been there! No reality boys that night though.

Oh, I was going to post the same thing, princesscarimon! I didn't realize that Moonves was only 55 -- I thought it was closer to 155. And Chen is only 34 --- I thought she was older (not that she looks old, she just carries herself in such a manner that I thought she was older).

I can't believe that dress. Holy Barney Suit! And Michael was wearing white tennis shoes with this either black or purple pants (the color on my computer is kind of off). But did y'all notice that Drew and Scott are in more pictures in the first slideshow than anyone else, even Cowboy? And why did they put so many pictures of his famewhore friends up and then have to have a second slideshow "by request" that actually showed the bride?

Thanks you guys for saying what I was thinking about that horrible purple dress. I am not much of a poster but I read her all the time and I just knew that I wasn't the only one that would wonder what she was thinking putting on that horrible purple number. I just sat in front of my puter shaking my head and hearing " I love you , you love me" playing endlessly in my head.

I don't even know what to say about the wedding pics of Michael and April. And color me shocked that Drew and Scott actually showed up and were in his party. I'd have thought for sure after the way they all acted that there was no way in hell that Drew/Scott would show up in Oklahoma for this stupid wedding. So color me surprised, and kind of impressed.

PS - Drew is still amazingly hot. Even though he's an ass, I'd still run off with him for a sordid affair if he showed up at my door. (And...Scott looked pretty hot himself. But he's not affair-worthy).

And did I mention that that purple dress is a monstrosity?

I'm guessing April likes purple. Did anyone else think that their cake looked kind of lopsided because of the crooked purple icing lines? Cowboy spent 12 dollars on that wedding, that was sad (as were the neverending pics of Savage). He wore jeans to his wedding to a woman in a purple wannabe peasant dress.

Good point jellyeggs, where is purple-haired Nakomis?

Remember when everyone used to call Scott pencil-dick? That is all I could think of when I looked at the wedding pictures.

Also, April dress does not match cowboy's outfit. Her smile is not a happy one. She just open her lips and shows her teeth. The corners of her mouth are straight.
I was also thinking about her not having a job and cb working 7 days a week.

Let me just add that I think that while I am very glad that CB spent some of those winnings on getting his teeth fixed, he could have sprung a few more bucks for that wedding.

I'm all for casual (if that's what you're into), but the wedding looked pretty cheap. And just about all the designer bridal houses make dresses in larger sizes (including bridesmaid-type dresses if April didn't want to wear white.) The dress looks homemade and ill-fitting. It would not have been that much money to have a professionally-tailored dress.

CB and April totally clashed. Denim and satin? Maybe they were going for the Stevie Nicks/Don Henley "Leather and Lace" vibe. Missed that boat.

I'm happy for them, if they're happy ~ but nowadays there's no excuse to look frumpy no matter what your size. Especially when your fiance has $50,000 (less taxes.)
