I found the first two episodes boring and awkward. Discuss.

Actually, now that I think about it I always want to slap her.
I would have been so upset if I let that bubble neck pull me off the street to try on jeans and I got stuck with the pair of Baby Phats.

Against my better judgement, I've been watching/TiVo-ing this show the entire week. One thought: "Life and Style" ought to be renamed "Baloney and Bupkis," because that's essentially what it is. Poster upthread who thought it was an infomercial?
WORD. Not so much because they pimp products, but the overall feel of the production is so tacky and infomercial-y. And, may I ask ... what the eff is up with Jules Asner's hair? Is she channelling the '50s or something? Why is it always so poufy? Additionally, that Lynn chick, the one who tries to be funny, really needs to shut it. She is not, nor will she ever be, Joy Behar (who, coincidentally, is also un-funny the majority of the time, but at least forms a coherent thought occasionally).

I thought it looked rather cheap and informercially too. People flipping by would think they were hawking salad shooters.

Hate Kimora Lee and her blackwhenconvenient, self-important, elitist, tacky ass.
Kimora's sistahgirl face (usually preceeded by "honey" or "gurl" and finger waving) makes me want to slap her.
Oh thank God it's not just me who feels this way.

Is it just me, or do they do the exact same show everyday?

I am so proud of myself for not mentioning that pack o' weinies she calls a neck.
I can't focus on the show when she's on. The neck is all I see. It might give me nightmares one of these days.

The NECK! Why is it there? She's not that old. I'm 28, isn't she younger than I am? I don't have that neck roll(s). She's more than wealthy. Kimora, have some surgery. Seriously. You look 42.

I think she suffered a sinus infection and did not film at leastMarla Singer Did Cynthia quit the show?
two episodes this week, or last week, depending on where you are in the country.

Seriously, it was really lame. The only reason I kept it on was because my girl Sandra "SLop" Lee was on making "sensual treats" or some shit and boy she didn't disappoint bringing the nasty. I don't know what was funnier, Kimora & friends gushing over it like it was the best thing ever or SLop desperately trying to act like she was BFF with them. I swear she was acting like she was auditioning to be on their crappy show...well she does want to be a "lifestyle guru". It was so pathetic.
For all the talk of Kimora being Russell Simmons' beard, why does she look like a drag queen? Did they get married in Massachusetts?

There's nothing on this show we've haven't seen and heard before, a zillion times and a zillion years ago. Lame fashion tips, predictable pop psychology, and the absolute bottom of the food-tips barrel: Semi-Ho Sandra Lee. Yawn.
I think Kimora's hubby bought her the show to keep her out of the penthouse. In fact, I read recently that he thinks she should be featured more prominently than the other gals, because she's the cutest and funniest. Bet that made for some lovely moments on set.

Or maybe it's the fact that she isn't funny.
If I went into this show not having read the FT thread on Kimora...I may find her somewhat agreeable.
I think Jules Asner is so purdy. (*ducks*)
Bur boring.
They aren't really bringing anything new to daytime TV.
And even if the topics are tired...the new hosts aren't to most viewers...but in this case, they're tired too.

They'll give anyone a talk show these days, won't they?
Kimora is an amazon. Is that Lynne girl the same one from the Food TV "How to Boil Water"?
