This isn't a sci-fi show exactly, but because of the horror/supernatural elements I think it fits here better than the other categories.

I used to watch the show religiously on HBO and am surprised at how little info there is on it since it's been cancelled. (Granted, it's been a few years but still...)

My favorite episode is the one with Tim Curry playing Ma and Pa Kettle-like farmers and their hideous daughter Winona, and Ed Begley Jr. played a crooked salesman who was kidnapped by them and tried to escape by marrying the daughter. The scene where he has to have sex with her is so hilariously grotesque that it had me in tears of laughter. Tim Curry did an awesome job with his triple role, especially as the aesthetically-challenged Winona.;)

Okay, SusannahDean, I'll palaver...

Another excellent TALES FROM THE CRYPT is the tale of the DeLuca boys (Brad Dourif and Bill Paxton) and the creepy ice-cream man. Can't pop out a stick of butter from the packet without flashing onto the brother played by Bill Paxton chomping down.

Ugh! Everytime that guy would eat a whole stick of butter right out of the wrapper, it made me want to ralph! But on the plus side, I always love seeing Brad Douriff. That's one of the things I liked most about the show, seeing all those (typically) movie stars and celebrities in each episode. I particularly liked the one with Tom Hanks playing the owner of a dating service (who incidently came to a bad end).

Bill Paxton chomping down a nice greasy stick of butter is much better than say...Christopher Reeves and his scrummy Meatloaf recipes...

A favorite of mine is the episode where James Remar plays a red-headed
thief who was after a valuable black pearl. Water Worms, enough said.

Question: what was up with the Great Britain episodes? They were just odd to
me.

Some of the Great Britain eppies were pretty nifty.

The three sisters who had the curio shop and find the monkey's paw.

The is Eddie Izzard the serial killer or not?

The father, the sons, the sexy female lawyer and what ever happened to long lost sibling Frank.

Ewan McGregor (yumm!!!) and Jane Horrocks as the robbers with a secret.

Then again, some truly fell into ye olde Whiskey Tango Foxtrot territory and would only be watched for the sake of saying you watched every episode.

I started to tune out during the Great Britain episodes too, but there are few that I liked. The Ewan McGregor one (nice twist), the one with the siamese twin girls, one a pretty pretty princess, the other hideously ugly, and the one with the girl who played Saffy on Absolutely Fabulous.
