I'm not seeing a thread for this Travel Channel show. Kind of fun watching John Ratzenberger tour factories around the country. Last night I watched Crayola Crayons and Campbells Soup. I've always been a sucker for "how they make stuff" shows. John's sort of goofy the whole time but in a good-natured way.

Next year, we'll have the spin-off: "Made in Indonesia".

It is a fun show. For some reason my kids don't like it...they also walk out of the room when I watch "Unwrapped" on Food Network. Oh well. I liked the episode where they toured the Harley-Davidson factory, because the employees were mostly Harley owners, and they seemed to feel privileged to be able to work there.

I work in a children's hospital in L.A., and I had seen John Ratzenberger here many times volunteering before he started filming this show. He seems like a really nice, down-to-earth guy. This past Valentine's Day, my husband and I were walking in to our neighborhood restaurant, and we got separated in a throng of people leaving, but I heard him say "hi" to someone. I said, "Who was that?" And he said, "Didn't you see? It was John Ratzenberger!" I'm all, "How do you know him?" He said, "I don't! I guess he was just being friendly!"

This is the coolest show! I love watching how stuff is made! Tonight it was Nutty Buddy, Logenberger(sp)baskets, Cape Cod chips and Vermont Bears. I want an Alien Bear!! A few weeks back they showed how to make Jack Daniels Whiskey. What a long drawn out pain! I hope they keep this up.
