I'll miss it. Tonight's episode was funny, and dramatic, and...I will miss this show, guys.

Goodbye.

Goodbye Phantom Dennis, Evil Hand, hubcap axe and Hyperion Hotel. Goodbye rainy alleys, incredibly convenient sewers and Barry Manilow.

Goodbye Doyle.

Thanks Joss. It wasn’t always a pleasant ride, but it was interesting.

Aw. Poor Wes. He went out fighting. But still, he brought a knife to a magic fight.

So that's what they meant by open-ended.

I feel that I should be pissed by that ending...but it fits. Suicide run indeed.

I think what really made the episode for me was the Connor stuff. Angel's acknowledgment that because of Connor, he can't ever be really defeated.

The Lorne killing Lindsey was a total holy shit moment. I did NOT expect that.

Is it wrong that I like to think that they all died in the end? That they went down fighting?

OMFG!

Lindsey is dead~! Wes is dead! Lorne no longer want's to be near the Mog and it looks like Wolfram and Hart sent there entire legion to kill the Fang ganag(did they make it?)~!!!

I am so depressed!! I am going to miss this show!!

Sigh. And so, with a bang and a then a whimper, we're done. I'm really going to miss the Buffyverse.

Great series ender, better than BtVS', right up until the non-ending. Which? Sucked.

I even loved the continuity porn with Anne, the pilot callback to pop-out arm stakes, Doyle mentions and William the Bloody's effulgency.

Shallow: David B. looked hotter than he has in quite a while, the whole cast looked good...mmmLindsay.

As for the dead pool, I didn't love Lindsay's murder, have to say. I'm anxious to hear why I'm wrong on that one.

I thought Wes might be the one to buy it and like that the 'little girl' finished his task, carrying out Joss' original mission statement and kicking ass.

Loved seeing Connor again and having him come to his Dad's rescue.

And unspoiled, I'd sort of forgotten about Shanshu, I don't know how but I had. So, it doesn't matter. Huh.

I'll miss this world and am glad I got to visit it. But wish it had ended...better? No, just that we'd had more time, maybe. Could it have been better with another season...I dunno.

I lost track of time and I thought there was one more commercial break so when it ended just like that, I was like, "oh no it didn't!" Damn, I really wanted to see that fight scene.

Yup. Everything you said.

And poor, sweet, crazy Wes. I didn't begrudge him the lie, at the end.

Wow, I can't believe that I'm crying...about a fucking TV show!

Wesley, this really sucks, but at least he's with Fred, right?

No real mention of Cordy? That sucks as well.

Did anyone else give a big FUCK YOU to the WB montage?

Well the first half hour or so it was a little boring except for Angel signing away his chance for humanity and the Blue Thunder shout out and Harmony selling out the team. Was she ever part of the team?

It would have only been better when Angel said one of you will betray me, Spike had said "Me me me me" when he raised his hand.

I always pegged Lorne for a silencer man.

I can't believe Angel would send Wesley against Vail. He is still just a mortal. Granted Gunn going up against the Senator and her vampires is the same technically but Gunn's been up against vamps already. Though it was nice to see the little girl explode Vail's head with her fist.

Thank you? Thank you from the WB!!??

A fitting end for what was possibly Angel's worst season thus far. Still, at least Cordelia and Doyle got mentioned. And it wasn't all bad...but not as epic as I would have liked. Setting up a secret society in the previous episode and then killing them - not great drama.

Oh my God!!

I can't believe they killed Wes like that -- the fact that he alone of the MoG went in so unprepared for his fight. Although, why did he pull and knife and not a gun? I was disappointed.

I love Connor.

I just can't believe it.

It's the Blackadder ending, people. Blackadder IV ended the same way. The main characters stepped onto the battlefield and we all assume they die. I suspected Joss would just kill off everyone.

My friends at the WB? You mean the guys that cancelled the show so they could put some worthless shit in it's timeslot?

I was really hoping that Harmony would buy the farm.

I liked the epi. I guess Joss believes in the phrase "always leave them wanting more", because man, do I want to see how that turned out. That final scene with the crazy and the demons and the batshit coming down the alley was COOL.

Damn you WB! How dare you not renew the show! Now I will be deprived of the continuing adventures of Angel with his sidekicks Spike, and Illyria, and they're my favoritest characters ever! Not to mention all the guest spots from Andrew we'd have gotten!

But seriously, where do I send the fruit basket? Good riddance to bad rubbish. Even Chosen was better than that. I think of To Shanshu in L.A. (the one good Angel finale) and the emotions it wrought and this was such an emotionally empty piece of garbage. What a waste.

Was Wesley's death supposed to be that *funny?* Ha ha! He makes a funny face. Sad to think that when he got his throat slashed in Season 3 I was so worried for him I had nightmares. And, of course, Lindsey. Didn't see that coming, except that I totally did. If I had a bigger head, I'd really think that ME deliberately thought "That damn SNeak, and her endless critcism. Let's kill everyone she ever liked, and leave her least favorite characters alive. Can we add in a bit where Angel calls the Scoobs and it turns out Xander is dead, but Kennedy lives? No time? Damn."

My sister-in-law was staring at me with her mouth hanging open because I was reciting Spike's poetry along with him, but with the most horrified look on my face. Are we sure Goddard didn't write that?

I'll admit I got misty at the WB tribute. Aw, look at Cordelia! See, that show I miss.

Shit! I forgot to tape The West Wing again.

I really liked the ending.

Even though it leaves it open for movies, even if there are no plans for any, I like that it ends with them doing what they always do, fighting the bad guys.

I don't need the nice bow.

As for the rest of the show...a bit slow in the first half...and on the whole...not really finale worthy.
