Spin-offs: Is there life beyond Smallville?

I'd like to see a spinoff about the luthors.
Met U: The College Years would be cool, too.
Or maybe, Smallville Gladiator, where the assorted FOTWs battle it out, celebrity deathmatch style.
Smallville Idol? Dunno...maybe if Lex and Lionel were the judges.
Smallville Survivor? Eliminate Lana!
post more ideas here...

1. Above the Fold: Chloe Sullivan (Alison Mack) has spent all her life dreaming of one thing – to be a reporter for the Daily Planet. Now she’s packed her bags and moved back to Metropolis in the hopes of fulfilling that dream. Joining her are roommates Irene (Amber Benson) and Jo, (America Ferrera) who are also hoping to make a name for themselves in the big city. Chloe spends her days waiting tables at a hip café and writing human interest pieces for a small paper called The Spin, where she butts heads with the Editor in Chief, Rob (Christian Bale). Will Chloe ever see her words above the fold, or will she be covering dog shows and community figures for the rest of her life? Tune in to Above the Fold, Mondays at 8 pm.
2. Necropolis: Chad (Shane West), Smallville’s resident goth, runs the local mortuary. At first it seems like the perfect job – he gets to wear as much black as he wants, it’s always air-conditioned, and his customers don’t talk back. But when he starts seeing ghosts, things get a little stranger than he bargained for. With the help of his brother Heinrich (Jared Leto), Chad helps the restless spirits find peace. But there’s one spirit he can’t help – Kate (Rachel Blanchard) a ghost that Chad’s fallen for. Take a walk on Smallville’s dead side with Necropolis, Thursdays at 9 pm.
3. Lovesick: Pete (Sam Jones III) and Lana Ross (Kristin Kreuk) are newlyweds; Jonathan (John Schneider) and Martha Kent (Annette O’Toole) have weathered 30 years of marriage. The two couples come together as neighbors, friends, and business partners in this new sitcom from the creators of What I Like About You. Jonathan and Pete are working to revive the Ross family’s creamed corn empire, while Lana and Martha work to turn the Talon into a franchise. But even though all four are working hard, things are never boring. Between Pete and Jonathan’s wacky schemes and Martha’s love of practical jokes, Smallville’s never been this much fun before! Catch Lovesick Sundays at 8:30.
4. The Bald and the Beautiful: Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) is determined to be the President of the United States. He’s got everything he needs to win – except, of course, a first lady. Now, with only a few years left till he’s eligible to run, Lex starts to search for his Jackie Kennedy. With his trusty manservant Enrique (Chris Kattan) at his side, Lex tries to weed out the homicidal maniacs after his money and name. But, more dangerous than any of the women, is his father Lionel. (John Glover) Will the real Joe Millionare find true love? Make a date with Lex for Tuesdays at 9 pm.

Serial Martha (adapted from the imdb description of Serial Mom)
The Kents are shocked when they find out that one of their neighbors, Lana Lang, is receiving obscene phone calls. It turns out Martha is the one harassing Lana. Martha takes slights against her family very personally, and in Lana’s case, the whiny, spoiled, girl is taking her teenage crush/obsession stalking Martha's superpowered son, Clark. Martha takes it upon herself to rid the world of this pink, pouty threat to her son’s virginity. But she doesn’t stop there. As other slights befall her beloved husband and son (a cruel, homophobic hate crime masterminded by Lana’s jock beau, Whitney; an investigation into Clark’s superpowers by Clark’s reporter friend, Chloe; a seduction attempt by wealthy widower Lionel Luthor; a heart disease unleashed upon Johnathan by Clark’s biological daddy’s hologram, Jor-el, etc.), the body count begins to increase, and the police (headed by the Kents’ family friend, Sheriff Ethan) get closer to the truth, threatening the family's livelihood.

Beyond Smallville: Time has come for Clark (Tom Welling) to go to college. Encouraged by his boyfriend Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), and his best friend Chloe (Allison Mack), Clark decides to study journalism. But Clark soon finds out he's not the only one with superpowers on campus... A certain Wally West (Michael Rosenbaum, in a stunning double performance, because let's face it, you just can't get enough of him) is also pulling superhero duty... All the while courting Chloe (snarkier and feistier than ever) relentlessly! Now Clark must deal between balancing the use of his powers, coming out to his parents, keeping an eye on Lex's diminishing sense of ethics, Chloe's near infatuation with the funny, yet way too hyper Wally and professors more evil than Lionel Luthor himself. Join us every week for an hour of adventures, fluffy romance and really hot gay sex. And of course double Michael Rosenbaum for double the fun! And the drool.
Note from the producers: Sadly, Kristin Kreuk's contract was not renewed, so Lana will never appear or ever be mentionned in Beyond Smallville. Ever.
ETA: mobiusklein, I would so watch both "Chluthoropolis" and "CSI: Metropolis" obsessively and religiously!!! Bye-bye life: I would no longer need one!

Clark, Lex and Chloe form a punk rock band called The Meteors (Clark preferred The Kryptones, but Lex and Chloe vetoed him). Their first album is entitled Nevermind the Pancakes, Here’s the Meteors! And its hit single “Stompy!” tops the billboard charts for 6 weeks. Their live act tops Kiss’ and Ozzy’s, and includes Clark setting fire to his guitar with his eyes and Lex biting the head off an armadillo. Chloe goes for an early Gwen Stefani look, bindis and all, but wisely chooses *not* to date Gavin Rossdale. Lex gets involved in a dis war with Fred Durst, and gets jealous after finding out about Clark’s not-so-secret affair with David Bowie. Experience the music and the magic, Smallville style, every Friday at 10 PM.

Krypton Leap is where future!Clark undergoes an experiment where he has to quantum leap in and out of people's bodies in order to prevent past!Lex from going to the drak!side. People range from Lucas to Lillian to Bruce Wayne to Chloe, etc. Last episode will feature both Clark jumpin into his past body & going back to the future to see if all his efforts were in vain or whether Lex is waiting for him.

In this spin-off from Smallville, Clark (Tom Welling) and Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) leave the years of firtation behind them as they embark on a relationship together in the big, bad Metropolis. They are met with friends (Allison Mack), foes (John Glover) and new faces (Wes Bentley because, hey, what is he doing lately?) as they try to maintain their love.
Ben Kingsley provides the voice as the older Clark. When did Clark become English you ask? Who the fuck cares? It's Ben Kingsley.
Rated M. Showtime Networks, Sunday 9pm.

Clexville: Clark and Lex are in love and about to get married. There are many kissing scenes involving tongues. The Kents are guest stars and love Lex.
Chloeville: Chloe explores the world of journalism as an intrepid reporter. Pete helps her, and actually has lines that don't involve product placement.
Luthorville: Lionel continues to raise his Magnificent Bastardliness to new levels. Lex occasionally guest-stars.

Where do I send my check?
Metropolis L&O: Fashion Victims Unit--Lex Luthor, now a well-dressed and studly bald detective with the Metropolis Police Department, and his sexy, troubled, not-quite-as-well-dressed partner Clark Kent, investigate heinous crimes of fashion excess. In the pilot episode, Lex and Clark interview Lana Lang, a woman acused of perverting the color pink to her own nefarious and badly acted purposes. Todd Oldham has a cameo as a witness for the prosecution.

A midseason replacement, with a short (perhaps 2yr.) contract. It follows the desperate and sadly ill-fated relationship between a male courtesan (Clark) and his megalomaniac writer boyfriend. (I’m not really a die-hard Clexer, but it popped into my mind anyway). The frenetic Duke (Lionel) thwarts every attempt between the two young lovers to find moments alone.
PS- Did I really just write that?!?! :)
