Chapera is going to be an interesting tribe. Tom and Sue will not get along. Remember, Tom hated Kim Johnson. Rob and Rob will get along, but eventually they will do battle for supremacy of Chapera. Rob C is an extremely jealous person, and should Amber pay Rob M more attention, things could get very interesting.
I think Rob M is going to win the Rob/Rob war. Amber and him will be an alliance. That's just my hunch. Alicia is brought in via her association to Amber, and Tom becomes the fourth. Sue is gone early, then Rob C will be blindsided and become the next Hunter. Best Player Not to Win? HA! His rep is going to take a major hit.

Did he say something about John? What was it? Help me out here, people!
Well I do remember him saying "Petaah is a fruit loop," and asking John if he was gay.

Ok, those jokes weren't nice. But a few episodes later, John and Rob would have formed a shaky final seven agreement-- with the boot order being: Gabe, Kathy, Paschel, and Neleh, supposedly. However, the deal was one that would only benefit John, as his Rotu alliance of four would have had the advantage in the final seven over Sean, Vee, and Rob. Anyway, neither Rob or John really trusted each other, nor do I think either intended to stick to the agreement; however, Rob was looking for reassurance of John's truthfulness and asked him flat out if he was gay. John didn't really want to answer, but did say yes. John thought it was a passive aggressive attempt to regain an upper hand by Rob, while Rob considered it a test of John's truthfulness. I think everyone would agree outing someone on a top rated show is not a good thing to do.
If you believe the post-show interviews, Rob did apologize to John for his gay jokes.

The ability to charm someone enough to control his/her vote (as he did with Sarah) is a power play in this game.
Because the All-Stars are mostly heavy-hitters rather than pawns, I doubt he'll be able to control people.

Yeah but don't forget Amber's on his tribe and she'll be looking for a new Jerri to enslave herself to. And RobM does like the pretty girls.Because the All-Stars are mostly heavy-hitters rather than pawns, I doubt he'll be able to control people.
Also in the pawn department we have Big Tom with him as well. RobM couldn't have chosen a better draw from the players cast.

I'll be intrigued to see how chummy Rob and Rob get. From what I've seen/heard, it certainly seems like they got along really well. (All speculative, of course.)

And Lawdog - yeah, Rob's a big dumb eedjit. I don't think his strategizing was top notch at all. I'll admit he does have a certain amoral deviousness which may well serve him on Survivor, but I still think he lacks the basic self awareness necessary to do very well (sometimes...Jenna...*cough*).

Even though it didn't happen immediately (and Rob M. couldn't save himself by then since the rest of Rotu - Tammy especially - hated him) it opened Kathy's eyes so that once the coconut challenge happened they were able to get together and move against them.
He was also the one who made it clear that physical skills didn't matter one bit to him, and at the time I hated him for voting out Hunter, but at the end he was right. I expect him to do well.

He also got lucky that there was a tribal switch that favored him. Had they not switched he would have either had to do some of Hunter's work or, which I think is likely, allowed Gina to pick up Hunter's slack.
I won't argue that he managed to open Kathy's eyes, but his laziness and impetuousness was his downfall. He's a manchild who assumes there will always be a parental figure to provide for him. If it requires any delayed gratification, he'll take a nap.

Only for the next 3 days, until he led the vote against her next. Then he would be stuck *gasp* doing work. Or dying. I still think Hunter's vote off speech was the funniest, and most accurate, had things not gotten switched up, ever.He also got lucky that there was a tribal switch that favored him. Had they not switched he would have either had to do some of Hunter's work or, which I think is likely, allowed Gina to pick up Hunter's slack.

But the last few seasons have been about the triumph of the mediocre, so Robfaddah's rampant incompetence will actually be an asset.

What happened to Robb? Couldn't they get him and put all three on one tribe? :-)

I think Rob is in a pretty good position since he was voted out pretty early compared to everyone else. It just depends on how people remember him, because (based on the past) he's certainly had more stumbles than any Rob C. or Rich.

I really think Rob M. is the one to watch for this season. A lot of people are saying he was more of a blunt player than a finesse player, but I disagree. He was employing the power broker strategy and could have gone far had he been able to hold his temper in check
He wasn't going any further than he did......even if there had been no tribal switch. His strategy of kicking out the strong BEFORE the merge, while unique and original, was hardly a successful one. We all know that the only reason a member of his tribe won was because of the cockiness of the Rotu4, not because of anything he did (while he might have put the bug in Kathy's ear, again, it was due to the R4's cockiness and making no attempt to hide their alliance from others)
If the switch hadn't occurred, Maraamu would have been pagonged right after the merge........his actions decimated his own tribe (they were on their way to becoming the only tribe to lose every challenge pre-merge). The biggest question would have been "Will he vote out Sean or Sarah first?"

Why? Because, as I always assume, the cockier the player the weaker and more petty he is. Hunter is the kind of guy that parents use as an example to their hapless, lazy, underachieving, still-living-at-home-in-their-mid-20s sons. They say "You remember that Hunter boy, you went to school with him? He graduated top of his class at Annapolis and is flying planes for Federal Express now. Why couldn't you be more like him instead of your good-for-nothing friends?" So Rob took the chance, and the only chance he would ever have in life, to be "better" than Hunter. Regardless of how it affected his own game.

I hope he does well, as his tribe contains two of the people I want to see in the Final Four (him and the other Rob).
