I'm absolutely LOVING the voice coach, "I wouldn't buy a ticket this show the way they sound!"

Carmen, there's a truckstop with your name on it.

Byrd rocks, that's all to it. I wish she was a judge with everything she said to the idols.

Carmen's still an idiot. She didn't know there would be people critiqueing her after American Idol? Doesn't she know that's why they're called music critics?

I took a sickening gleeful delight listening to Trenyce and Clay read the horrible reviews they got.

Did anyone else bust out laughing when Clay was on stage singing Invisible and he stopped and whispered "Wait! I already am."? I adore Clay but that was just really funny for some reason.

It is funny that Trey said the show focused a lot on others, when she was on here a lot, too.

My favorite part was when the two girls were fighting about Clay and Ruben. The way the girl stopped and said, "Please, Clay is NOT sexy!". Cracked. my. shit. up!

I have such a higher opinion of Julia now that I saw the special. She seems great and I wish her success in her future musical endeavors.

Ruben seemed a bit hesitant when he was talking about buying a house for his parents. "I'll probably be buyin' them a house, or something like that." How nice.

Can I just say I really really hate the moniker "Claymate?" I'm not a member of PRoC, but PRoCer just sounds cooler. Plus, with "Claymate" I think of Gumby, and, well, yeah.

I love "Ruben's wife." Hee. Still, the best part was Paybee greeting her mom. That was priceless.

It's always great to see Charlie and Rickey. C**men? Not so much.

With all due respect to the PRoC, I prefer "Claymaniac" IRL.

Same here...Every time I hear that, I think "Gumby Porn". Ew.

And I still can't stand to hear Clay sing -- hasn't anyone told him that he doesn't have to pronounce Every. Single. Consonant. in Every. Single. Word. he sings? He doesn't talk that way; why does he have to sing that way? The purple tie doesn't do much for the Gay vs. Straight argument, either.

When Charles was collapsed on the floor with the leg cramps, I was sitting here going, "Oooooh! I know what to do for that! Sustained compression!" [/MassageStudentRave]

Just one more thing: I know I was hard on Julia during the competition but she really seems like a sweet person.

I don't know, maybe I'm too self-centered, but I don't understand how those girls (and women) could be crying and throwing their panties at Clay.

Clay has a decent voice, but I just don't see what would be considered sexy. For that matter I've never cried, screamed, or wanted to jump the bones of someone I saw on TV.

I am actually heartbroken that you aren't going to recap this Shack. Honestly! This was the best hour of FOX programming I have ever watched! EVAH! And I was a 90210 and Melrose fan back in the day.

Just too many things cracked my shit up!

Charlie and his Bill Clinton impersonation. Was I the only one wondering if Caldwell was under the podium? I espeacially thought it was funny seeing as how he was rumored to be the horndog during the tour. Signing the woman's breast? Pricelss. Get it all in now Charlie boy.

I was almost off the Paybee love train, but this show hurtled me right back on. How cute was her and her mama falling to the floor? And I want that yellow/blueish blouse. It is gorgee! And she can sang! Almost forgot that fact.

Carmen, Carmen, Carmen. Did you really think the bad reviews were going to stop after AI? Really? Wow.

Clay is my baby daddy, but Rickey is my boy-toy. I still love him.

The Clay hissy fit? LOVE! I'm a pissy bitch and I love the pissy bitchness in him. Lift me up....on the stage. Bwah! I would have all 10,000 of his babies even if he does walk like a pregnant duck.

The battle of the Clay and Ruben Super fans at the end? You can't make this shit up people. Did the Clay fan call "Ruben's wife" a bitch. I swear it sounded like she did. I was expecting her to roll her head and tell the lil Ruben fan to talk to the hand.

I swear after all my bitching about the AI results, the Anomamly, everything I would gladly live thru AI2 again just so I could have this special. Even if Carmen came in 3rd this time.

Can you tell that I enjoyed myself?

Edited to add:

Well, that was a great hour of The Hedgehog the Famewhore show! Except not! Seriously, could TPTB be any farther up Clay's ass then they were in this? That Kim Locke fan who ran alongside the bus cracked my shit up. When he told her she inspired his singing, I was like, "You like to sing boring too?" The fighting Ruben and Clay fans were sad but somewhat true yet hee-larious. I'm Ruben's wife! Hee! And yes that Clay fan called her a bitch. She was all Ruben, please, who's #1 bitch? Then Ruben's "Wife" shot her a look and sarcastically said You are! I heard someone off camera yell Hey hey to calm their shit down.

Damn, the Clay the lobbyist stuff made me cringe. First of all, WTF were fans doing there with signs? Plus, posing with the Doles? Excuse me while I dig out my Clay voodoo doll. That is just sick and all kinds of wrong.

The Clay fans we saw? Freeekeee. Clay earings and hair ribbons? Sick!

Hi Rickey, Julia, Treynyce, and Charles! Glad to know you still exist! Carmen, go crawl into a hole.

God, everytime I see Ruben on TV he's around food. Yes TPTB I know he likes his food. Geez, don't any of the others eat? I wonder which house he bought.

It's Rickey! Hi Rickey! I still love you!

Whew, I feel better now. Yes, Clay's fans are scary, I think we all already knew that. That guy who dressed up like KimMe, though -- way scarier! What was also obvious in this show was how little Ruben really had to do with the tour except show up for the performances -- always flying in and out and doing his other stuff. Which, ok, fine, they had to work on his album. But it doesn't exactly show him in a good light to highlight that on their DC day off, he's off getting his picture taken while Clay is raising money for his foundation.

Pissy!Clay was also one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. I already like him (shut up) but it makes me like him more when they don't act like he's all sweetness and light All. The. Time.

More Kim Locke would have been nice. Less (or no) Carmen would also have been nice. She's scared bc she doesn't know where her life is going now? Sweetie, you're 18, you're not SUPPOSED to know. Go to college and figure it out, like everyone else. Also, I didn't so much feel for all of them being upset bc they'd been away from home for a month. Didn't at least some of them go to college? Most dorm rooms aren't as nice as that bus, and a lot of 18-25 year-olds are often away from the parents for a lot longer than that.

Damn Jer I love you! Do you walk like a pregnant duck too cause I might seriously consider having your babies as well? Since no one mentioned it I was starting to wonder if I imagined the battle of the Super fans.

And seriously I thought it was a Clay pimpmercial as well although there are folks else where who would disagree with that statement. Am I becomming jaded? Unintense? Please. ;-)

I <3'ed this show!

No shit. "It's the idols one day off....see some of them goofing off at the White House...but now see Clay spending his one day off lobbying for special education. Look at Clay and worship himmmm."

Trenyce looked beautiful. She worked those extensions. (But WTF was up with her back-up dancers? Ew.)

What freaked me out was how much of the "Clay Shrine" I recognized. Still can't stand the kid. But I loved seeing the Proc t-shirt in Clay's house. Go TWoP!

They mentioned Ruben's Rolling Stone cover but not Clay's? S'up with that? I thought it was just as much a love letter to Ruben as it was Clay's. They seemed to get equal schmoozing to me.

And "Ruben's wife" looked all of ten years old. Now that? Was creepy.
