The big difference here is that we know Naomi's true colors, she is a bitch and never hid it. Better than the phoney Tyra with all her pretend values.

That, or Tyra brings Jade on as a judge. My mind is wandering at the possibilities.

My friend sent me a photo of Shannon from the event.
At the link I posted for the event, there's a few pics of Lisa in that same wig. I don't even want to know what that was about.
Bless Lisa, she posted a Da'model Nails video with the other girls at the event.

And the voting starts on May 24th, that's pretty soon! I wonder if they are having a casting episode this season or if this is going to be the first panel witht the finalists.

I agree with nicenessness though, I'm worried that him being on ANTM is going to kill his career. :/

From Tyra's fb:
Fierce news, Fam, the newest addition to America's Next Top Model is YOU! Cycle 19's judging panel will include your votes, comments and video messages. You will have a say in which models stay... and who goes home.
Twice a week, starting Thursday, May 24th, you'll be able to use our Voting App to rank and sound off on all 13 models' best photos. AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL is returning with new talent and a new judge – the viewer. Cycle 19 of the show will offer an interactive experience where, for the first time in AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL history, the public will be able to have a say in who stays and who goes in the competition. Beginning on May 24, fans will have two opportunities each week to vote online at www.cwtv.com and choose their favorite contestants based on photo shoots taken during production. These scores will be used by Tyra Banks and the judges to help determine who is eliminated each week. Viewers will also have the opportunity to have their comments and video messages featured in the show when the cycle airs in the fall. In addition to Banks and returning judge, fashion pr maven Kelly Cutrone, international male model Rob Evans will join the judging panel as the third permanent judge. Johnny Wujek, stylist to the stars, including singer Katy Perry, rounds out the group as the new creative consultant, who will guide the models through their photo shoots. Cycle 19 is also the first-ever college edition, inspired by Banks’ recent graduation from Harvard Business School, and will include students from all across the educational spectrum, from four-year colleges and universities to beauty school students. These women from all walks of life, all parts of the nation, and all types of continuing education, will be invited to show their school spirit — and their modeling chops— to Tyra and the judges. The girls will vie for a prize package that will launch their modeling careers, as well as help them continue to earn their degree.

What I don't get is, how are they going to incorporate our voice? Without spoiling constantly who was the contestant that got eliminated last week? Will all the girls be participating in the photoshoots right up to the finale? Weird.
I've been wondering the same thing but couldn't put it into words- thanks!
If all the girls participate through to the finale...wouldn't it throw things off quite a bit if an early loser kept getting serious viewer support? It all seems unnecessarily complicated.
I eagerly anticipate some kind of tie-in with Degree antiperspirant. I also wonder whether they'll have to be decked out in their college gear at all times, like the Brits and Americans had to wear their flags all the time.
as well as help them continue to earn their degree.

Grading the girls (with the help of the audience) for the first few weeks and then kick the girls with the lowest 'GPA'/average off, after which contestants no longer get a say in what will happen. Because it doesn't work otherwise.

He never really says anything useful during the photoshoots on this version, but at least he has Canada's version (on which I hear he's actually useful) to fall back on.
Canada's Next Top Model only had three seasons and hasn't been on in years. There's little chance of it coming back.

According to a Digital Spy article, Nigel will host while Naomi, Coco and Karolina act as coaches for their own teams of models.

This makes me really sad for some reason.

Oh well, I'm happy for Nigel! Let's see how this show will do. Yeah, it seems like a slap in the face for Tyra, but there will be people who will say Naomi is copying off of her and there will be constant comparisons to ANTM. Time will tell who will benefit from the comparisons because this show could very well suck ass. Remember the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency? Or that other show with Tyson? What happened to those?

I wish them well.
