There's a Christmas, or should I say holiday, ep where we get establishing shots of East Hampton in the snow, but these shots would have had to have been filmed in January or February, since there's rarely snow in East Hampton in December.

Sarcastico, that's news to me. Why is it that Long Island gets little snow in December? This is a disappointment because, as a Californian, every time I see that episode, I drool over the White Christmas people on the East Coast are having. I've heard of belated birthday cards and belated anniversary cards, but this is the first time II've heard of belated Hannukah cookies.

Long Island gets slammed with plenty of snow, especially this winter. I believe the poster ws talking about the Hamptons exclusively. Since they're near the ocean, the slightly warmer air temps means less snow, plus it melts faster. it was the same when I lived down at the Jersey Shore.
