Anyway, I'll do my very best to be there, but I'll try to post if I can't make it for sure.

We wish some of you had joined us, but we had a nice TWoP chat and Tubey kept us company.
For next time, we'd like to do an activity, like bowling, so we can do more than sit around and drink cup after cup of coffee. My email can be found in my user profile, so give me a shout so we can organize an actual Con (not that I didn't have fun today, Huka).

If any of you are arranging another con, lemme know.

Why don't we do a pub night? Fridays aren't huge tv nights, at least not for me. It'll keep me from re-watching Smallville episodes, trying to figure out what went wrong.
Favourite pubs in the Lower Mainland?

Any idea on dates?

Watching: Lost, Alias, CSI, Without A Trace, Smallville (what is up with this season?!), 24, Scrubs, Law & Order SVU.
Have fun if you are meeting soon but if not, I'm game for something in June!

How does everyone feel about meeting on June 10th or the 11th? About 7 pm? Gastown's always a good time and I've never been to the Irish Heather. Or there's O'Doul's. Or the Foggy Dew in Richmond (they make the best Candy Apple Martinis).
Do we have a gang sign we can flash each other?
If you are interested, please send me a quick email. It's easier than checking the thread all the time.
Thanks!

Hmmm...how about bringing our remote controls, and covertly showing it around...the first time that doing so isn't met with complete disbelief and mocking, we'll know we've found the right group!

Well, that beats my suggestion of yelling, "Tubey RULES!"

My vote is for somewhere along a major transit route, like downtown, or Gastown.
I'm excited to see more people than last time (all three of us). I'm a huge CSI fan with West Wing, Buffy, Top Model and Lost all jockeying for second place, so I can't wait to chat!

Why don't we set a date? We can figure out where to go from there. I was thinking the first weekend in June, like the 3rd (Friday) or the 4th?
And more suggestions for good places where it's quiet enough for us to talk but not be a restaurant? Likorish suggested the Irish Heather in Gastown. What do you guys think?

If you get to the Irish Heather first (though I'll try to get there early, to scope seats), hold about 5 seats. And try to bring a picture of Tubey. Otherwise, there'll probably be a lot of lonely TWoPpers sitting, holding 5 seats each.
I promise, I'm not normally this obsessive. And since my RL friends don't post on these boards, you'll believe me until you actually meet me.

can we do another one very, very, very soon?
No problem. If you can't make it, I'm sure we can always figure something out. Also, I'm going to post this on the confirmed TWoPCon Page also, but I was in Gastown this weekend and I could swear I saw an Irish Heather on Carroll street, not on Gaoler's Mews like I posted. Anyone know Gastown really well?
ETA, just checked the maps and it technically is on Gaoler's Mews but it's right down from the Blarney Stone.

Too bad too, since my server was yummy. Tall, dark with an English accent. Rowr. And I tried something called a shandy. Very good. Refreshing. Beer mixed with lemonade. Who woulda thunk it? Irish are very smart beer drinkers.
Anyway, any suggestions on when we should try this again?
