At first, I thought she was wearing a slip, and had forgotten to put a dress on top of it.

ARGH! Once again my DVR didn't record the show. Last week I deleted each scheduled recording because they were reruns, so maybe that's somehow why this week's shows aren't recording.

That's too bad. I hope you can catch up online. The chef Robbie Montgomery was fun. She didn't mind even though Craig stirred badly and chopped things wildly. He makes messes on purpose, but I guess she knew it didn't matter since she already had the finished product ready. She put in a lot of sugar into everything, though. I've never heard of pear cobbler. With enough sugar, I guess it would taste as good as peach cobbler.

I loved Sean Hayes' appearance. He was hilarious. I'll have to keep a look out for him on other talk shows. When they broke for commercials, one of the ads was for Red Lobster. Hee.

As for Lena Dunham (sp?), I didn't care for her. Well... that was a little harsh. She was fine, but a letdown after Sean. But I didn't really like the game she and Craig were playing or talking about playing or whatever, about pretending to be a fairy and snake charmer. Maybe it was fun for them, but it was boring to me.

I liked #1501. Mostly because of Kathy Griffin, I suppose, and her good use of her cleavage. I couldn't figure out why Craig got so upset when she went for something on the desk to put into her shirt. Just give her the kangaroo testicles, Craig! The little American flag that she grabbed seemed fine to me.

Kathy's mother likes to drink boxed wine?! I don't recall ever hearing that before! I don't mind Kathy, and God bless her mother, but we know. Craig seemed absolutely panicked when Kathy was pawing at his stuff.

My DVR mysteriously cut off the recording in the middle. How strange.

I was wondering about that, too. He didn't seem to be kidding around. I figured he thought it would get too vulgar and censor-pushing. BTW, what was Kathy describing in her bra? A hook that did something...?

And what about the Sharon Stone mention? I did a quick google and found that Craig and Sharon had dated, but did she behave wildly on his show?

JMO: Craig keeps pictures of his children on his desk, and has never shown them on camera. He will not let guests touch them as he has rebuffed attempts made in the past to pick them up.

He really kind of freaked out there for a minute or so, didn't he? At the end I think he might have thought she was going to do something vulgar with the American flag that the media and public would be offended by, and then he'd get involved in a controversy by association. He's had a lot of bad luck with that sort of thing lately.

I don't know why, but I found the spoofing of that Dos Equis ad hilarious.

It was a loop that allowed her to wear a plunging neckline. I would assume that means a bra with a U shaped connetion in the front, but I'm no expert.

As for Sharon Stone, she had some pretty steamy appearances on the show in the earlly days, and I seem to recall her climbing around on the desk a bit.

Loved Michael Ian Black reading from his own book. His words, his voice, his dry delivery--very enjoyable. It's a great idea and I hope to see other celebrities reading from their books.

Thought MIB was a bit boring myself.
The rest of the show was good though.

I haven't seen the show in a few weeks (trying to get more sleep at night and be more productive during the day... it's only sort of working...) but I randomly tuned in to the show with Michael Ian Black reading, and I loved it. I came over to ask if "reading by famous people" is something he's doing as a regular bit, now, or if it was a one off.

When does the new set get its debut?

There used to be a bit where celebrities would read bits from Craig's book or somebody else's book, I think. I don't totally remember.

No, that usaually doesn't happen.

I would imagine sometime next fall, but no date has been announced.

Awesome! Craig just tweeted his Scotland music video! I knew that Michael Clarke Duncan, Mila Kunis, and Rashida Jones went with him, but I didn't know Ariel Tweto was there, too! This is gonna be good.

After watching that video, I am so excited for Scotland week. Seriously cannot wait. I didn't think it could get much better, then Craig leapt out of the TARDIS. So awesome. Also, that band is quite good. I really enjoyed their song.

It was nice to see a new episode tonight, complete with the Scotland preview. I think most of that episode was pre-recorded, like the Friday episode will probably be, but it's nice to have something new.
I think the Scotland thing looks great, and I love Mila Kunis, and Ariel being there is just an added plus. Too bad she can't see Russia from her Alaskan home, don't cha know?

I find myself barely watching or listening to the show. I wish he'd stop bringing people from the audience in front of the camera. Oh well.

Anyway, I did watch Jesse Tyler Ferguson. He was great. He and Craig had a terrific rapport. I hope he becomes a semi-regular.

Really? I actually like when he brings people up from the audience. But I think he could mix it up with some different features in the cold open now and again. Even something good can get stale when it's overdone.

Anyway, I did watch Jesse Tyler Ferguson. He was great.

I think he was great, too. Unexpected. I hope he comes back often.

Noticed during the end credits that they're down to four writers now (including Craig).

I thought it was nice that he brought the hair and makeup people out for the beginning of the show, twice in the same wdek now. I think they get paid extra for that, so why not? It was interesting that Craig was wearing a three piece suit again, like he wore in his French episodes. I remember wearing those back in the 1980's, but I didn't understand the purpose of that tonight.

Oh, they were hair and makeup? See, I'm not paying attention to much these days, esp to the beginning of the show.

I thought Reno Wilson was hilarious. I don't watch Mike and Molly, but I've seen him somewhere before. Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing him back on the show.

Ah, so the purpose of the vest, or as Julie Andrews put it, a "waistcoat", is that Craig loves Downton Abbey, and wants to dress like them. Luckily, I would imagine those Bob Barker suits all come with vests that haven't been seen in decades.

I like Craig wearing vests. I like them on practically any man, I think, and Emerson's character on Person of Interest always looks dapper in them.

I've noticed that Craig has often been dancing/marching with Secretariat when they come back from commercial break, regardless of whether Secretariat came out during the email segment. I think the interns in there get paid for those on-camera appearances too, so maybe Craig is trying to make sure they get to be on reguarly, even when the emails don't mention Secretariat.

I can't wait for the Scotland shows.
