Hi, all. Frasier is my nightly guilty pleasure. :) I got Netflix streaming during Christmas because Hallmark went into card selling overdrive with all the sappy movies.
If I had to pick one favorite episode, it would be Room Service.
Frasier- " Well, the three of us have certainly analyzed the hell out of this situation." " And look, Niles and I have matching bathrobes and it isn't even 9 o'clock yet".
Best zinger, and so true- ( I may be slightly paraphrasing as this is from memory)... Frasier: " The truth, Lilith, is that I never STOPPED desiring you, though God knows I tried. However, from this day forward, whenever I think of you..... I will see the back of my brother's head. And that is one big bucket of ice water, let me tell you".
In my opinion, this is the sitcom that was made for me and my sensibilities and tastes. "Frasier" is the best sitcom ever, with the possible exception of " Lucy", whom I see as an icon in her day, and remains wildly popular.
Which reminds me, I LOVE Niles' (David Hyde Pierce's) physical comedy and I am probably the only person posting here who was just SO relieved that Niles finally got Daphne that I could have watched them fold laundry for 2-3 years together and been quite happy. :)
