I got confused amongst the seven zillion characters, and need some help. Who was the guy that ran the Arse-it (which still cracks me up) garage? I know I recognize him, but couldn't place him or the character on IMDB. He reminded me of Geoffrey Palmer's kid brother.
And how did they miss poor Tsanga in the van, wouldn't there have been some unexplained stink, sound, or fluids after four days? I would have thought an abandoned transit van that had just come across the channel would have called for the full French Connection
treatment. I really felt for him, and his wife. Possibly the most upsetting part of the whole show.
Good for Jane for taking her risks. Her boyfriend was nice, but he must have been the thickest thicky that ever thicked. She couldn't have been more obviously ambivalent about the relationship, and unprepared for the wedding. Plus, from the shallow end here, she was absolutely luminous.
Paul McGann's fantasist character almost made me forgive him for the Doctor Who movie. Almost. He was an ass, but you could see why Jane got sucked in, and could see why he had his little fantasies.
I had some sympathy for the drunk driver, right up until he obnoxiously forgave Tolin for hating him. At which point, I was perfectly fine with Tolin twisting his head off.
And wow--Sandra was one stone cold woman.
No kidding. Of course, I figure she could have gotten Derek to kill her brother-in-law for free, if she had put her mind to it.
