I agree with the Ashanti is a bitch comments. At least these kinds of shows will sometimes give you a real look at someone. I still can't get her line, "if you knew something was wrong with the car why did you INVITE me into it?" out of my head. I'd like to invite her into career oblivian.

The Tommy Lee punk was lame. The girl practically jumped on the car. And why the hell is he hanging out with Nick Carter?

I wondered that too. And I loved Ashton's merciless mocking of "ghetto Nick" and how he barely registered on the cool chart. Made me think of Justin Timberlake's mocking of Ashton on SNL. Snerk.

Ashanti was awful. I thought Jessica Alba was just as big a bitch as Ashanti was. Maybe even a bigger one.

If anyone's curious, I can confirm that the Punk'd DVD that comes out on Tuesday has uncensored audio. There are still a few scattered bleeps and muted words/phrases, but literally a few. Every four-letter word under the sun can be heard crisply and clearly in pristine Dolby Digital stereo. (For anyone who's curious, Dax is still blurred out in the Jessica Alba prank, and blurring has been added to mask Brittany Murphy's presence in the background of another.) The set also has commentary by Dax and Ashton, and though they tend to stray pretty far from whatever's happening on-screen, it's very funny and very much worth a listen. Also has a bunch of short clips using extended branching to pop them in at the appropriate time -- there's a lot of great stuff leftover from the Mandy Moore bit in particular...as well as two unaired celebrity-free sketches (in one, Ryan Pinkston dupes prospective interns into thinking he runs MTV; in the other, Al plays a blind tattoo artist, and an unwitting client really doesn't seem bothered by the idea). Circuit City looks to be carrying the set for $15.99 this week, which is the best price I know of.

For those of you who are trying to decide whether or not to get the punk'd DVD, here's a complete review of what is included...

MTV's Punk'd - The Complete First Season

Sounds like there are enough extras to make buying the DVD worth it even if you've seen every episode a million times because of the million repeats on MTV.

Why do celebs who can afford anything always get stuff for free? What a screwed up world.

Justin Timberlake said as much in his interview last year? with Barbara WaWa, when she asked him if it was true he owned a bazillion pairs of shoes. He said by the time you can afford to buy the stuff, they just give it to. Screwed up world, indeed.

Lara Flynn Boyle seemed to be quite concerned about the bill, and here I figured $25K was just walking around money for these big stars. Didn't she say something like 'what's my mother going to say'? That cracked me up. LFB, you're a grown woman, but that sounded so 15.

If the show is really over, can we declare Justin Timberlake the best punk'd victim ever.

And Dax was just brilliant.

Adam Tyner Thanks for the info on the Punk'd DVD. I was wondering if it was going to be uncensored. Glad to hear that it is for the most part. That tips the scale in favor of me going out and buying the DVD.

I'm assuming this is the correct place to post this, but I wanted to comment on Ashton's "Driven" episode on Vh1. It was nice to hear the story about his twin brother, but I seriously think they said the words, "Iowa," and "Mid-west" every five minutes. It was really annoying.

Well, it's coming back.
From the AP entertainment wire ...

Oon Thursday _ which just so happened to be April Fools Day _ MTV announced that Ashton Kutcher and his celebrity prank show Punk'd will return to the network with a new season. In December, Kutcher swore the program was finished.
"This is not an April Fools joke,'' MTV spokeswoman Vanessa Reyes said.
But, but ... what about a few months ago, when Kutcher promised the world he was all punk'd out? Was he just lying to everybody?
"Yes, he was,'' Reyes said.

So, I guess we're in for more Kutcher glut.

Here's what Kutcher told The Associated Press in January:

"I've become the boy who cried wolf,'' he acknowledged, offering some assurance that his decision to end the show after two seasons isn't just another hoax. "Let's put it this way,'' he said. "I'm getting ready to start shooting two movies, I'm still working on That '70s Show, I'm producing two other shows for MTV and creating a one-hour drama pilot for Fox ... I don't have the time."

What a liar. I assume he was talking about The Butterfly Effect. If that's the case, no wonder he's having to do more Punk'd.

Anyway, Punk'd returns to MTV on Sunday, April 25.

Ah so that's why I've been seeing all these Punk'd reruns popping up on mtv as of late.

By any chance has anyone seen Scare Tactics? I was thinking of starting a thread about this show but I don't know if anyone even watches it.

I caught Scare Tactics late at night once. It's over the top and I loved it! More people should tune into it. I haven't had a chance to watch it again. I'm not sure of the schedule.

Scare Tactics: I've seen it a few times. I really only tuned in to support Shannen Doherty as she was unceremonously fired off of Charmed by that bitch Alyssa Milano. Anyway, the show isn't that good. But that's just my opinion...

Eve needs to take it down about 15 notches. Good lord she's like a bitchy little foghorn.

I love Matthew Perry. 'I said you can't buy that car it's yellow. He would've been made fun of.'[/bad paraphrasing]

Adam Brody, oh now he was adorable all mad. Ben McKenzie was looking super hot just sitting there. Hehe.

Haha, Matthew Perry: "I thought we were joking...." and when the director guy told him he'd feel differently if he got into the car behind the wheel..."it's still going to be yellow." Ha!

Poor Adam Brody. Ashton was such a dick making fun of him in his black and white shouty monologue thing.

I didn't catch all of the "this season...on punk'd". Who else is getting punk'd this season? Did I see the Rock in that sequence?

It was good to see that Matthew Perry, neurotic though he may be, is still a smart-ass in real life. The "I don't have to repeat the "apple-pie-guy" thing do I?" comment was priceless. It was eerily like watching an episode of Friends it was so well-timed.

Maybe it's just me, but the punkees this season just don't look that interesting based on the previews. The Rock's didn't look too bad though.

I thought it was OK. I snickered a lot during the Matthew Perry bit since it was so over the top. I was glad they got Adam Brody, but the ending seemed choppily edited and all of a sudden it was over. The Eve one didn't hold my interest much though.

I was distracted by the new black guy though because I immediately recognized him from that ring tones commercial where he and his friend walk down the street playing "In Da Club" on his cell phone.

I think I saw Julia Stiles in the previews too.

It's hard to believe Matthew Perry is so "on" in real life. Not much acting needed to be Chandler.

Yeah, he also played Snookie in Save the Last Dance, and looks eerily like Donald Faison.

Eve: You can take the girl outta Philly, but you can't take the Philly out of the girl. She was rolling with the F-bombs. Allen Iverson would be so proud.

Matt Perry's Punk'd seemed to drag on, IMO. He was funny, of course. His insistance on the fact that the car is yellow was giggle-worthy. And his "Apple pie kind of guy was" hilarious. However, he was so low key and calm, and I like watching Punk'd to see celebs get all hostile like Eve, Tommy Lee, and Jessica Alba (bitch).

Adam Brody's was boring. I was kind of irked by the dude from The O.C. (what's the actor's name) when he made that comment after the "fianceé" left them and went back to her friends, "Did you see her? She was acting like she doesn't know who we are." Truth be told, even though he was Punk'd I still don't know who Adam Brody is, and I only know the guy from The O.C. because I've caught episodes here and there.

I do want to see the Vivica episode.

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad this show is back on.

Eve was boring to me, and I'm not at all impressed by someone who just starts freaking out and cussing at people. Eh.

Matthew Perry, my one-time fiancé who fell from grace, is now back in my good graces. I felt so sorry for him when he immediately put up his hands, and he was so respectful, but he just couldn't hold in his Chandler-esque tendencies. I just love him. The best part of this show is seeing how these people really act, and I was happy that I liked the "real" Matthew so much. "Apple pie kind of guy" cracked me up, too, fashionista.

Adam Brody looks adorable sipping a drink. Adam Brody looks adorable explaining polyester. Adam Brody looks adorable ignoring a note that was put in his pocket. Adam Brody looks more than adorable sheepishly avoiding discussion of the note that's in his pocket. Adam Brody looks frickin' sexy calmly trying to defend himself and then finally getting a little hot (HOT!) under the collar. The boy has a small white-man 'fro and weighs about 98 pounds, yet I still love him beyond reason, even more after this show (which I didn't think would be possible). He was just enough Seth Cohen to make me happy, and even delightfully more manly. Sigh. I want to put him in my pocket. He's only four years younger than I am. I could SO handle that. My boyfriend probably couldn't, though. *kicking the dirt like petulant little boy* If I were still 14 years old, or, say, in college, my walls would be plastered with his picture. At my age, I just have to be satisifed with being inexplicably . . . happy when he's on TV.

Well, he did just punk Eve, and last season he Punk'd Outkast. I can't recall any other hip-hop or rap artists being Punk'd, though.

Oh my goodness, Adam Brody is the guy who plays Seth? See, I don't watch the show enough to recognize him outside of the show...which proves my point about the two being a little too full of themselves when the girl asked them who they were.

Also Usher and Omarion.

Does anybody know if they will be reunning episodes from Season 2 again. (I know that they've done it all this past week.) I had all the episodes taped, and the second half were on the tape I was going to tape last night's premiere. It was all set up beforehand, and when I got home all i was going to do was press play. Anyways, my brother pressed rewind by accident and We taped over the Halle Berry ep.

Eve sort of Punk'd herself. Is so clueless that she doesn't realize how bitchy she came off in the 'job interview'?
