There's a clip from tonight's 100th ep up on AOL in the WW section.

For those who can't get it: It's the whole group in black tie on their way out and POTUS going on about how he isn't going to ask them questions about Lincoln's Assassination this year. He then proceeds to tell them all of the questions he isn't going to ask and no one says anything until Josh pipes in with an answer and Toby goes "You had to say something." Then POTUS says "Every year, Josh," and offers his arm to Angela and says that she can ride with him.

And I am sure that there is some sort of dysfunctional level of fanfic there that I don't even want to think about...

Episode 15 is titled Full Disclosure.
I also think Hoynes may be in it. Not sure though; just speculation.

MRs V, is your feeling that Toby says he will join Will's campaign in jest? Cos I thought our gang were pro Hoynes by the time of his leaving (in fact, since Stirred). I would have thought they were more likely to want to help him than Russell. Or am I being really stupid (it's possible, I had less sleep than the shattered contestants last night - my baby girl is cutting her first tooth).

Cripes, they're mining BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) for plots? Funny how "ripped from the headlines" that is, since there's a story in the Washington Post today about the fact that the Pentagon wants to start on a new round of closures.

I'll count that as a shout-out: I work on the state level in BRAC, DERP (Defense Environmental Restoration Program) and Superfund. But, jeez, that could be pretty dull. Political, definitely. Not sure it will make great television, though. Especially with Wells at the helm.

So, Rena does return. Oh well, I thought we'd dodged the bullet on that one.

Mrs. V, any news on the Josh/Donna front in your spoilers? Full Disclosure sounds like a bit of a revealing title and all info regarding this has stated it was somewhere around the 14/15 episode that their situation would come to a head? And is TM himself going to appear in the episode? Thanks for the new spoilers btw. It's my birthday today and this was a nice present :)

How the hell long is Swimterm's internship anyway. Damn, will he go home already?

Yes. He has a meeting with CJ in his new office.

Well if they can pull it off think the Hoynes storyline has a lot of possibiities over the next few seasons, as the Bartlet admin winds down and the staff may just pick different sides in the partys nomination battle.

Does anyone else think it's possible that Hoynes would ask Josh to join his campaign with the promise of Leo's job if he wins? Could make for some interesting internal conflict - and, lets face it, I love me some angsty Josh.

The whole Hoynes thing bothers me, especially since Jed and Leo tried to help him with the d/c at the end of last season and Hoynes said no every time. Now the SOB wants to run for president? I'd make sure someone knows why he resigned in the first place just to keep him honest.

People already know why he resigned. Helen Bladwin dished the dirt on their affair in her book. IIRC, the next episode starts with that on the news. I thought he resigned before he was pushed and to protect his family from the witch-hunt that would ensue if he stayed in Office after the publication.

Why would Leo and Jed care if Hoynes runs for President? They don't like Russell and I imagine that there are going to be a number of people running for the nomination. Hoynes made a decision to try and get out of the limelight to protect his family and Jed and Leo respected him for that. Now it would appear that he and his wife have worked out their issues and have decided to venture out into the public eye.

Also we don't know how much the public knows about Hoynes's affair, its clear they know about it but who knows if they know Hoynes told her things. However, be resigning Hoynes most likely saved the administration from hearings, so why is it in insult to Jed and Leo that he is running now?

I don't quite understand the Hoynes storyline since he could have survived politically having had an affair, but it was the fact that he told his mistress classified information that was - and would continue to be - a problem for him. I'm not sure how he could get around that fact if he chose to run.

But its likely that the public already knows about the leaks because members of the press already knew that the mistress was spreading some classified information, I think even the current WH press corps could figure out that Hoynes was the leak, especially since the mistress didn't seem shy about spreading the information so its highly likely she would talk.

Mrs. V, thanks as always for such a terrific job with the spoilers.

It sure sounds like they are short-handed for senior staff - so where is Angela? Why couldn't she take one of the meetings? Is there any reference to her?

The Hoynes storyline doesn't strike me as all that far-fetched. After all, post-Donna Rice, Gary Hart ran for President again. If he had enough drive, ambition and arrogance to run for President once, Hoynes certainly would have the chutzpah to think that a little adultery and disclosure of classified information wouldn't stop him.

The storyline suggests a continuing conflict between Will and Toby, which will be a good thing. It suggests that Bingo Bob may become something more than a joke, which would be a good thing. It may lead to interesting and difficult choices for POTUS, who saw something in Bingo Bob; Leo, who didn't; Josh, who has a history with Hoynes and might be inclined to side with the former VEEP; and Donna, who continues to emerge as a sort of "real world" point of view (and I'm guessing, would not support Hoynes).

Good God that is quite the internship Ryan has there, he gets to represent the Deputy Chief of Staff in a meeting? Yep, that seems likely.

That's it. C'mere Mrs. V. and let me give you a big kiss. You made my day with that info (so long as it doesn't get overridden later in the spoiler).

Ryan may feel that since he's a legacy of sorts and Leo forced him on Josh, that Josh can't really fire him.

I wondered if in the rest of the scene with Josh and Ryan, the intern reveals a strategy that Josh thinks will work. Or perhaps he reveals that he called the Congressman who was balking on voting for Russell. I would bet that Ryan doesn't get fired.
