Agreed. My inartfully phrased point was actually that depending how born-again or fundamentalist the parents are, they may not send their kids to Catholic schools, given the distrust that some evangelicals harbor towards Catholicism.

Okay got it mumbles. That makes perfect sense.

I don't know if I can take another day of Kris Jenner, especially since tomorrow she is bring her most recent spawn on as well. I'd love to ask Whoopi, "What is the difference between reality show royalty and reality show trash anyway?"

Or maybe play a clip of Whoopi recently making fun of Bruce Jenner's messed up face when this show made the Kartrashian Christmas card a Not Hot Topic - now that would have been good. Guess Kris wasn't watching that day.

Just when I think The Spew can't sink any lower, Joy leads by asking the guest co-host if her married daughter's vajayay (did they bleep the word vagina?) really smells like roses. Way to keep up the low standards Joy.

I thought it was a very generous offer or as Sherri said, "Paying for college isn't no small feat." Sheesh.

Sherri needed to explain that to us, in her inimitable way, because Bawa wasn't there to remind us and list all the ways college costs--in case we don't know already.

Just when I think The Spew can't sink any lower, Joy leads by asking the guest co-host if her married daughter's vajayay (did they bleep the word vagina?) really smells like roses. Way to keep up the low standards Joy.

I thought Kris was going to punch Joy out at first. But her "back at cha" answer did hoist Joy with her own petard by sinking even lower.

Even Whoopi seemed embarrassed, reminding them about the sponsors.

Why can't the interviewees be trusted to tell their own story?

I noticed that the other day when they had the Scientology lady on. Sherri read off her blue cards for a good 5 minutes telling the guest all about her life instead of, you know, asking questions and letting her tell the story. I was afraid they were going to run out of time before the guest had said a word.

It seems very odd, or very telling, that while there is a genuine lovefest on GMA about Robin Roberts, chronicling her recovery and return, that there is barely anything said about Barbara.

They seem to be down playing Barbara's illness/sickness/old age quite a bit. Now, she is in her 80's so I'll cut her a break but she is out for at least 3 weeks. It could be touch and go for her and no one really knows (or as Whoppi would, "we weren't there") how bad it actually is. The one thing I believe is that Ms. Walters doesn't want anyone to think she is a shrinking violet. This is a woman who has never left the chair even if she has to go to the bathroom. She had to face a lot of male adversity back in the day & I'm sure she never let's anyone see her sweat. Time will tell I guess

I only watch the View when Barbara isn't on. I'm tired of her constantly talking over not only her co-hosts, but even guests. She can't seem to keep her mouth shut for more than a minute.

I also can't stand that they're shoving the Kardashians down our throats. Cannot stand that family and Kris is the worst. But here she is again, bugging the crap out of me. I wonder, is her new talk show, which I wouldn't watch even if they had naked Taye Diggs, Channing Tatum or George Clooney. Aren't there any other people to bring on as guest co-hosts?

I prefer that they would have told this story (as well as most other stories that they screw up) by having the producers produce a short segment (1 or 2 minutes) where they show the pictures and have a voice over (which could be done by Sherri)that tells the story very succintly and then the hosts could interview the guest for followup (which they could then screw up). But at least, we would have most of the story.

Show of hands please. Who wanted to punch Bitsy in her triple-coated high-glossed mouth when she was bleating about Chris Christie's weight, with her brows furrowed so deep you could plant onions???

Oh.What.A.Surprise!!! The Kartrashians were there to pimp Kendall & Kylie's clothing line OUT TOMORROW!!! (I knew there was an ulterior motive. LOL.)

I was so annoyed with the Christie story. It wasn't as if the doctor randomly out of the blue started diagnosing him. She was asked in a CNN interview if she thought his weight would be an issue if he were to run for the presidency. As a White House doctor she knows the stresses that come with the job and said he was at risk for a heart attack or a stroke. Could anyone honestly dispute this? I do understand the governor objecting to this being a topic for discussion at this point, but had the View women, or specifically Elisabeth, taken the time to see the context of the doctor's remarks they could have avoided all the righteous indignation.

The truly "fabulous and amazing" (here the words are legitimately used) Bonnie Hunt, herself having been majorly trashed by the View "ladies", particularly BW, once had Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as guests on her sadly-gone talk show. Uncharacteriscally, the next day she said she had to shower for hours to remove the residue. While yesterday's show was bad enough, TODAY's show is likely to keep me in the shower for a very long time.

Watching this show as it airs just isn't an option anymore. I could not even believe that Granny did not turn her TV down when she was on the phone. And not doing it even after she got confused by it. What the hell??? Erased after not so hot topics.

Today I watched through the first (was there more?) segment with Joel McCale and erased. Actually, the whole show could have just been erased without watching.

I don't think any doctor should be discussing any specific individual's chances of dying from health issues. It's like who doesn't know being fat and under stress isn't healthful? Shoot, either one separately is bad for a person.

I don't think so. Seems like they have been scraping the bottom of the barrel for a while now. Plus, I think Sweaty Geddie really believes (and maybe he's right, I don't know) that Kartrashians = ratings and it is supposed to be sweeps month - not that I can tell on this show.

I don't think any doctor should be discussing any specific individual's chances of dying from health issues.

I think this practice of diagnosing from afar thing the media does is completely irresponsible. But even worse is stating a prognosis publicly about someone they've never even seen in person. Still, it cracked me up that Bits was getting all worked up about it because I'm sure she was just "defending her team."

My favorite part of the show today was the local abc affiliate must have been as disgusted/bored by this show as I was because they cut in with non-breaking Breaking News right before the Kiddie Kartrashians were scheduled. At one point they returned to the show for about a minute and then back to the news. Hahahaa - I need to send that news producer a thank you note for saving me from myself.

I was curious to see the young Jenner girls. I think the older girl is the most attractive of all the K sisters, but she is scary skinny--anorexic looking. Her legs looked like Barbie Doll legs, and that's not good. Plus, when you are so tall, why where ridiculously high heels that you can't walk well in? She also seemed rather articulate, comparatively speaking. The younger sister looks a lot like Khloe, poor dear, but other than using "Like" as much as her older sisters, she seems fairly normal.

They also don't have the obnoxious nasally, monotone voices of the others, esp. Kourtney. But they do touch their hair as much as Khloe, which is so distracting. For their sake, I really hope they don't get their own reality show. It not a good idea. They quit school (er, are 'home-schooled') because they work so much! Too bad they don't have a parent look out for them, as a normal kid would have--but their mom is the one pimping them out so young. And the idea that they are 'writing' a sci-fi book is ridiculous! Have they even READ a book?? Hope the ghost writer gets his/her due credit!

Also, I haven't seen the K show too often (hate to admit I've seen it at all, but it's for the same reason I watch The View--for the snark), but I call complete BS on Kris J.'s claim that their show is not scripted at all. Come on, there are plots right out of "I Love Lucy" in there, including Khloe losing her wedding ring and Lamar had it all along to teach her a lesson. Just admit it--you need a 'story line'. At least the Housewives admit that!

However, with all "reality shows", there are some reactions to situations that are real, and you can see beyond the 'mask' that they are trying to portray.

On another topic, I love when Barbara Walters is on because you KNOW it will have delicious, cringe-worthy moments, and I watch for those and those alone!! The show has become a bad parody of itself!

ETA: One more thing, during the Christie rant by EH, I didn't get her example of Hillary Clinton.....she said something about how they said she's getting better after her injury or something to that effect--however she worded it, it seemed like the opposite of what is going on with Christie. Anyone understand her point?

I heard that too. The only thing I could figure out is she was searching her little brain for someone on the "other team" to compare their health with Christie's. I think she said something about people asking how Hillary was doing or some crazy gerbil verbiage.

No bitch I do no care about his health but the office of the president and who the GOP would have step in. McCain anyone?? I care about his health oh say like you care about the returning veterans and children without medical coverage or a fetus not being born because of the plan B pill. Just shut your pie hole so I will not have a stroke thank you. I thought all this week she was trying to cover a mouth sore.

First of all, I don't think anyone's told Bitsy that for the first time in about 20 years Hillary Clinton is not serving in public office - for the moment anyway. But running that gerbil verbage (love that dissy) through my amateur Bitsy translator I think dissy's right. She was upset that the media and their famewhore doctors aren't predicting dire consequences for Hillary Clinton's recovery from her concussion and blot clot because there is lots of chatter about her also running in 2016.

So she went from being pissed that the media (including her own show) continues to talk about Christie's health at all to being pissed they are talking about his health in a negative way while 'celebrating' the recovery of Clinton's condition. In other words, don't talk about a public servant's health unless it's bad news for a possible Democratic candidate. Or something like that.

The most annoying thing about the way the Kardashians speak is the "Vocal Fry", which this Slate podcast explains. It's that creaky voice that a lot of young women now seem to be speaking with.

Well someone must be watching those vapid, worthless, unintelligent, low brow, scheming con artists. Mama Pimp appears to be training her youngest spawn. If she succeeds, perhaps they can become foul mouth sluts with big fat asses who make porn videos and BS televised weddings.

Mama Pimp had some big, orange legs going on. IMO, the sight of her face and those of her oldest spawn are offensive. The View sucks enough without dragging in Kartrashians. It's kind of depressing to think this bunch can make so much money, when they really contribute nothing of any value in the way of intelligence.

Not liking the Gov.Christie fixation. Has anyone told these stupid bitches that there are some very serious things going on in the world right now that have far greater significance than the weight of the NJ Gov? Talk about a war on women! This show is a war on women because I don't know any women who are as awful as this mind numbing bunch of mean spirited witches.

Attention Honorable Mr Christie and the View co-hosts:

The bitch doctor who is being so rude to Mr Christie about his perceived weight "problem" does not give a flying fig for his health. There's a CA-CHING reason why she is generating all this publicity for herself. I'm surprised how many are taking her seriously without mentioning this caveat...

It's all in a 4-letter word:

BOOK

Said bitch has written a book about her days doctorin' in the White House for the Bush and Clinton families. She wants to sell books. The ugly little tornado she has created is so very convenient for her purposes. Being professional is apparently for those caregivers and doctor "losers" who keep their patients' confidentiality, I guess. I hope she never touches him--she is beyond unprofessional.

Poor Bitsy is probably still so tense from holding in her anger after the election that she just kind of popped when she had any chance to get out her frustration, raise her voice, and shake like a leaf. I didn't understand why she was referencing Hillary Clinton's recovery except to relieve and release constipated anger and resentment.

Bitsy has colic.
