Anyway, this weather is too frigid for my taste, but maybe we can plan something post-NFL playoffs?

(one of the stations up there offered me a job and I'd be a fool to turn it down ;-))

And it should be soon! I'm free (or at least really cheap!) so far except for the 22nd, and the first week of Februray (mr. terrilynn was offered a position in San Diego, so I'm going with him to check out stuff...and make him see that Kansas City is really where he should be!!).

Since it usually does take about 3 months for us to put anything together, let's discuss. It's been quiet here, lately, so which other St. Louis Twoppers are out there (Miss Chanandeler Bong? - I know you're lurking somewhere), and want to get in on this?

Anywho, I'm in. I agree with Miki that a mid-MO TWoPCon would be a great idea sometime (Terrilynn - I would happily hold your hand if you have to enter Tiger country :) ). But if Prop Chick is coming home, we should meet in St. Lou, too. What weekend in May, PC? Pen, we'll have to put our heads together (Ouch!), and find cardinalsfan, josh some-year-or-other, and other St. Louisans. KCers, come too :)

I'm not picky. Anyplace we can find is fine with me :)Any suggestions on a date or locale?
As for dates, my schedule isn't too bad at the moment--Mondays are out for me, but pretty much everything else is flexible.

I think that a Mid-MO con would be fun, Miki. (I know I tease you MU type folks alot, but I've spent some time in Columbia, and it's actually quite a fun little place.) Let's work on that for maybe early June? Just a thought. Anyone else interested?
Edited because correct punctuation is hard!!

My schedule is pretty busy in the next few months, so pick a date and I'll try to be there! Wednesdays don't work for me at all.

Are you on the MO or KS side, amnewsboy?
I am proud to say that I'll be living on the MO side. :)
I do want to come to a TWOPCon (if y'all will have me), but I do need to get settled in first.

Especially since that time of year would be perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon at the winery....
Oh, I am sooooo there!
Ok, so KCers, let me get this straight...we're looking at some time in March, but not between the 12th and the 20th. That's not a Monday. Or a Wednesday. Boy are you all a big pain in the ass! Actually, I guess after the 20th works best for me then. I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled on the 11th (they haven't done me any good anyway), so I'll be really, really loopy that weekend. Not that anyone would really notice a difference...
Hey there Miss Bong!!! Are you counting the days until training camp begins too? I hate this time of year...with the exception of March Madness. Rock Chalk, baby :-)

terrilynn, I miss my Rams! I love the Cardinals, and everyone is thrilled by the words "Pitchers and Catchers report", but there's nothing that "does it" for me like football!

I am trying to get internships, so I'd prefer it if we planned it for the middle of May rather than June, but as I have no idea where I'll be, May is safer. And I think going to the winery would be great- if you've never been to Les Bourgeois, it's got a fabulously pretty blufftop A-frame as well as a phenomenal restaurant. Snark is always welcome! Plus, the A-Frame (while it says that outside food isn't welcome) is perfect for picnics...they have never busted us on it, as long as you buy a good deal of wine and other beverages, they don't bust on you. I'm thinking a appetizer/dessert potluck.
Let me know what we think and we can start the planning process!
