Dr. Phil dug in her ass!! Two things - "but you gave him ACCESS" and (basically) "but if you told on HIM you would have gotten in trouble so you kept your mouth shut". That is what got me. If she was not willing to say he raped her and call the authorities then she basically said she was a child molester. Does it matter WHO initiated it if it wasn't rape on HIS part? No, she was a grown ass woman and he was a child. I love how Dr. Phil kept saying "but you have TWO kids with him so clearly you had sex with him". Going by the age of the first child, he was underage so what is it that she couldn't answer? Whatever.

She must have washed it in the washing machine because that was a hot mess. It looked like it had new growth.

At least she was smarter than the teacher from the previous show and she lawyered up big time (yes the female lawyers hair was distracting to say the least as well as her eyebrows).
Phil tried his best to get her to admit what she did but her lawyers weren't having any of that. It was consentual sex but it was still wrong on her part as she was the adult in that situation. She definitely deserves jail time. And he is a woman beater. I might be able to excuse his behavior as that of an immature young man. A grown man NEVER hits a woman....at least Phil is right on the money when it comes to abuse.

Zannys daughters hair was obviously a wig.

And they let her go on TV looking like that? Shame on you Dr. Phil.

I guess I am the oddball here. I like the family shows where Phil and Robin show off their grandchildren/children. I like having a little glimpse into the personal life of someone I choose to waste an hour a day with on topics I don't usually give a flip about. So many posters berate Elisabeth on The View for not discussing her children more...they are insulted she acts like they don't exist. And while Elisabeth could leave television all together, and I wouldn't bat an eyelash, it seems some television viewers either want it both ways or there is a big enough audience for both kinds of shows.

Part of what makes Phil such a hypocrit is that he berates people concerning porn and he has a daughter in law that made a bucket of money from porn. I wonder if Robin ever saw her daughter in laws photo shoot with her sisters?

Didnt care anything for Joe and his family except that I don't know if the mom will stay sober. She looked like she was hanging on by a thin, thin thread. It had to be hard being between an abusive husband and an abusive son. No, they were not physically abusing her but they were emotionally abusing her by putting her in the situation she was in, both criticizing her for how she was not supporting THEM. Hell, what is she supposed to do? She couldn't WIN! I hope they do get some help. I do love how Dr. Phil called the dad out for not taking responsibility for the family and saying that HE would take the charge in making sure things got better. I love how he told the dad that as the father he is the provider and protector and is responsible for his family. (As a single woman, I was cheering because that is the kind of man I want!) Another thing I love about Dr. Phil is that he actually gets real help for the people that come to his show. I love Oprah but she did not always (if ever?) offer her guests actual help outside of the show in order to make their situations better for real.

I don't believe a single blessed word coming out of Anne's mouth. I think she manipulated a troubled kid and his phone messages to her were out of desperation because he didn't realize what the hell was going on. She should be ashamed of herself. Even when Dr. Phil asked her questions that had SHIT to do with the legal case, she would look at her lawyers. Then don't come on the show lady!

Joe didn't give a rats ass about the boy. He just wanted the wife and the boy was just something he had to accept in order to get the wife. He never bonded with the boy. He just wanted Phil to show him how to peacefully get rid of the boy and keep the wife. Oh he loved his daughter because she was his daughter. The boy had no connection to him.

The father/daughter conflict on todays show went nowhere quickly. Phil never even scratched the surface on that mess.
My god was that boy a monster in the second episode. He friggin took an iron and ironed his little brother. The baby is next. I can just see him cooking the baby's soft spot with that iron. He's a killer, sure enough.

Preach it. I really hope his heinous acts started after she became pregnant with the baby, because otherwise, what the hell was she thinking, bringing another kid into a downright dangerous environment? And now she leaves the sociopath alone with the baby. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he starts going after the baby once it gets older and becomes more of a child/rival/challenge.

I realize this could be the editing monkeys at work, but I was really struck by her final filmed statement: "I realize if something happens to [my middle child] that I could be held responsible." That just sounds so very wrong. Yeah, lady, it's all about you.

Did I miss something, or had the mother not sought any professional help for that kid prior to reaching out to Dr. Phil?

People really should have to pass a test before they're allowed to breed.

The father/daughter conflict on todays show went nowhere quickly. Phil never even scratched the surface on that mess.

A total waste, Donny Osmond included: "Are you ready for rejection and commitment?" "Yes, yes I am!" She's 13. She has no idea what rejection or commitment are like. Again, it could be the edit, but it's interesting that she said "I want to be famous." I think her desire to model, act and sing have way more to do with achieving fame (a long shot at best, and does she have any actual talent?) than any real desire to model, act and sing. It seemed like they spent more time lecturing her about what she needed to do than they spent helping the dad understand how not to drive her to a lifetime of therapy.

I was wondering if stage dad was bogus, making up crap just to get his little girl in front of the cameras. After all, Phil does give away fab prizes; maybe his kid could see a Hollywood agent. I wasn't believing his,"I call her fat. I make her practice for hours." Nah. He said that to get on the show, that being worth the possible hate mail, neighbor shunning or CPS visit.
Dad and his pornstache want to be in the big time & he's hoping his child is the ticket. 90% of kids want to act, model, sing at one point. It's what they see in the media. Then they move on to The Next Thing, unless they have stage parents who pounce,"Well, Junior, if you really want to be a star, then we're going to sell the house/move to Hollywood/ buy you a team of coaches to realize that dream!"

My kid wanted to be the next Pat Sajak. He was four. I did not buy him suits or build a practice set in the garage. These things pass, parents can then fund T-ball and soccer and dance. IF they haven't spend thousands on "fame."
Maybe Donny Osmond (who always claimed his childhood career was indentured servitude) should have given the girl a chocolate sundae. And said,"Are you enjoying that? That's life." Then invited the audience to come up and hover around her elbow as she ate and asked,"Enjoying it still? That's fame." Instead he kinda cheered her on instead of saying,"Go for it when you're older, but right now relish your free childhood."

Young sociopath's mother shouldn't have been on TV, but in a clinical setting trying to find out what could help her son. Phil should have provided that, I think, once he was aware of the situation, instead of dragging her on his show. "It's all about the kids!" except when their issues are really titillating & viewer-bringing. Ass.

Just finished watching the show with the mother who wanted to euthanize (sp?) her children and the ladies with Lyme disease. Made me sad. I can't imagine being that mother. The first lady with Lyme disease looked really bad. I don't know anything about the disease but I cannot imagine her faking it. I did wonder, though, how she went that long without any symptoms popping up during the interview. She did look like she was fading fast, like she was about to fall asleep. Either way, I hope the doctor helps her.

I hate to say it but lyme model was faking. She has seizures whenever she has to sit up for more than ten minutes but she miraculously can go on Dr. Phil and be fine? And you can't speak or respond during a seizure. Your brain signals are getting scrambled(speaking as someone who suffered seizures after a car accident).

Something was just not right with Courtney's parents. I gather they are very low key, but something is wrong. Maybe they don't like the kind of treatment Courney is getting. Maybe she IS heavily medicated and they know this and don't like it.

Hey, if meds were needed to control the little harpie, then really all you can say is "Better living through chemistry".
Mom sure was a tramp in the first section of that episode. To get rid of your kid because some "man" tells you to is a low life thing to do......and she knew better as it happened to her. Of course the kid isn't going to listen to her.
On todays show, those guys were whores...man whores. No one is going to pay that kind of money just to be somebodys companion. And why not show more than one woman client? And if the "pimp" is so cool about its legitimacy, why not show more "johns". But hey, people say you can't buy love, but you can buy a close fascimile.

The man whore show: all Phil wanted to do was rag on those guys and be holier-than-thou. If women want to spend money on this sort of thing, so what? Phil doesn't need to stick his nose in everyone's business just to score ratings, and he's certainly no authority on any woman except maybe his increasingly plastic-faced Mrs.

Probably for the same reason he won't blame the women for going to the male escorts but will beat up men for going to prostitutes -- the "evil rotten man syndrome".

Phil's double standard is a joy. Forgetting that his grandkids "may one day come across pictures of their mother posing nude" which was an unspeakable horror once but now is ok, I forever consider him nothing but a showman the day he beamed at Dennis Hof and asked for his imput about the adult industry. Aren't pimps cool? It's their drug-addicted slaves that are the problem.

Women & men have hired people to be their dates for a very long time. Society has walkers, others look for dates that guarantee happy endings. Who the hell cares? Just because Robin sits with the most shocked expression that she can manage with all the shots and fillers and stretching doesn't mean the rest of us give a crap.
