I think the main reason people aren't voting for "parkours" is 'cuz no one knows what it is!

District B13, people. Heck, even Casino Royale.

The stuff was in all sorts of adverts years ago too.

Here is a video. The actual parkour stuff doesn't start until about 1:40 into it.

Actually, this one is better.

It's been a couple of months since I've been able to vote in any of the polls (browser issues) but I just have to chime in on this one : Puppy Bowl, Puppy Bowl, Puppy Bowl!

Hey, older TwoPpers: Remember when Jim Belushi was first on Saturday Night Live? And we all made fun of him? Because they just put him on the show because he's John's brother? If you told me then that 25 years later Jim Belushi would still be on TV, I would have wondered what you were smoking.

ITA. I just wish that there was an "All of the Above" option. I couldn't just choose one show. :)

The question this week about which leisure activity will next be televised - there was an article a while back in the New York Times which mentioned that ESPN was considering both dominos and mah jong for airing as follow ups to the poker craze.

I love the idea of Wii will, Wii will rock you, since it could be a different "sport" every time! Today its tennis, tomorrow its bowling, then its time for cow steeplechase, etc.

I would so watch Are You Smarter Than A Dungeon Master? What really is awesome is hearing Jeff Foxworthy say that line. Hee!

I would so watch "Are You Smarter Than A Dungeon Master?" Mainly because I'm a gamer myself, and it would have to be a step up from the "sexless nerd" stereotype.

Not that that ever stopped anyone before.

And has anyone else been having problems with the poll? Lately, it's just been showing the results for me, and won't let me vote myself.

(And I've been wondering who "Bobby" is, myself.)

I haven't been able to vote in the poll since it was put up, I was thinking maybe I voted in it while sleepwalking.

Maybe it's a fake poll?

Does The Real World/Shark Challenge involve Real World cast members being eaten by sharks? I'm there!

I liked Jessica Collins in The Nine, and it pleases me that various cast members of the cast of that underrated show are getting snapped up. But, Nimoy? Oh, from Tubey's lips to Kring's ear! I'd probably plotz if this actually happened. (Trust me, I was one of the geeks who squeed when Nakamura Otōsan-Sulu's licence plate number was revealed...)

If we're talking Emmy underdogs, I'd reserve my vote for Jensen Ackles. Should totally get something, won't get anything.
Sigh.

Sci-fi shows don't usually win Emmys. Kind of like how comedies don't usually win Academy Awards for Best Picture.

I don't care if he wins or not, but I want T.R. Knight to bring a Hot Guy to the awards. But I read on a blog that he's bringing a platonic female friend. Lame.

I thought America's Got Talent had more than singers. Granted, all the winners I can think of (which isn't many since I stopped watching a while ago) were singers.

I voted for the Voice. Love it!
