I love the jokes about Butters being pissed off on having to wait on the dragons,

Which made little sense because yes, while we waited season 1 for dragon they payoff was brilliant, and we see TONS of the dragons in S3. Yeah, Dany whined about them most of S2 but we got them back.

The last ep was one of the most quietly depressing, if true, tv episodes I've seen in a long time.

This was the most "awesomest" ep ever!  Their portrayal of kim and kanye and his kisses to kim were perfect.

I hate the kardASSians with a passion so any pop culture show shaming them?  I'm all for it.

After almost a decade of watching South Park, I find it sad that Stan is the only one of the main four that I actually still like. I feel sorry that Stan has to put up with Wendy, Randy, and most of the adults on the show.  Cartman is... well... Cartman, Kyle is a huge hypocrite, and Kenny barely even exists anymore. Butters is tolerable (probably my favorite character after Stan) and I really, really hate his parents, especially Chris/Steven/whatever the hell his name is. Sharon is the only parent that I actually like, and I have a love-hate relationship with Randy.

I'm glad that Tweek is not a part of the main cast anymore. Tweek wasn't even remotely funny and most Tweek-centric episodes were obnoxious and almost unwatchable. Craig has character, but not enough screen time to show it. Wendy needs to be smacked. "You Have 0 Friends" was when I finally was done with Wendy. Timmy was never funny, but Jimmy is actually pretty cool. Red, Annie, Heidi, and Jason are more like living props rather than characters, so there's not much to say about them.

On the subject of Kyle and Cartman, I think that both of them are slowly reaching the point were they will be almost tolerable. There are times when I wanted to punch Kyle (Good Times With Weapons, Tonsil Trouble, and Cartmanland come to mind) and actually I actually liked Cartman during Major Boobage. I think Kyle is not as "holier-than-thou" as he was before and Cartman is now more stupid and racist rather than axe crazy.

Funny, but Stan is the one I hate the most.

Kyle and Kenny at least own up to their own flaws and Cartman is beyond redemption, but Stan never does and moreso, he constantly sides with Cartman against Kyle, to the point that I was legit shocked that they had Stan be the one who led the PS4 side instead of Kyle in the Black Friday trilogy.....

This discussion is so interesting to me, in part because I've often failed to see enough (if any!) distinction between Kyle and Stan, though I agree that Kyle seemed a little more extreme this past season. Both care a surprising amount about certain issues that arise in a given episode, and not at all about others. Both can be used as the rational 'voice of reason', and both can also be very reactive and emotional. I used to think that Kyle was more 'liberal' while Stan often represented a more moderate stance, but there are episodes where that doesn't seem to hold true. If it weren't for the fact that their friendship with each other gives the show a splash of warmth and heart or at least relatability, I'm not even sure I'd think that both Stan AND Kyle are needed as main characters. They can seem almost interchangeable to me when in scenes with the other kids (though obviously they have different 'types' of parents!) Cartman is nearly impossible to genuinely like and root for, of course, but for me he's the most unique, entertaining, memorable character on the show. I want him to get smacked down more often than not, but I can't begin to imagine the show without him.

My favorite episode is Creme Fraiche (where Randy is addicted to cooking shows) because that's basically me. I felt like Trey hung out with me and wrote about it. Another recent favorite is the ID channel of murder porn- so true! There's more but those really stand out to me the last 3 years.

Funny thing . . . lately, when I watch Comedy Central at night, I see ads for Wicked. I'm sharing because my mind always goes back to "Broadway Bro Down" . . . "Take me away / to that special place / (that blowjob place) . . ." Good times.

Looks like the censored speech from the end of the 201 episode came out. I've been waiting forever to hear this: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1nDH8VwN06B

"The only true power . . . is violence"? Okay, then. Can't believe Comedy Central pussed out on airing that big revelation.

I guess this explains why it got censored.

But I get what they were saying.

I don't get why it got censored. They didn't even specifically reference Islam. It was about people in general using terrorist tactics. It came off as heavily ironic to me, which, I mean, CC does know what kind of show this is, no?

And that terrorists are imbeciles of the highest order because SP depicted Muhammad years ago, prior to E200/201 anyway. So whatever.

Here's the first thirteen-something minutes of The Stick of Truth. As you'd expect, Cartman the Wizard King is quite the scene stealer.

Has anybody else seen the TSoT commercials? Apparently, the game is going to be released on March 4. Also, there's a scene where Chef pops out of a casket. That should be interesting.

My brother got The Stick of Truth yesterday and so far it is hilarious!  It plays just like a South Park episdoe.  No matter what you try to name the playable character, you wind up with the name "Douchebag" thanks to Cartman.

The SPS Youtube site has new videos, both of which are age-restricted:

New trailer

Gameplay teaser (I saw this on Comedy Central, and I got grossed out by where the level was taking place)

I actually worked on the game in a capacity so I'm glad you like it Spartan Girl :)

I was always surprised by how much, even from the last season, direct references they managed to pack in.

Supposedly the town layout is official but I swear there are some inconsistencies with what they've shown on the show, I just can't prove it yet.

I keep checking back on TVTropes' "Crowning Moment of Funny" page for TSOT. The part that begins "In your second night at South Park"? Yeah, I don't think I want to play the game that badly anymore.

Closer to home . . . any word as to when new episodes would air? Or are we getting another shortened season this year?

I highly recommend any South Park fan to pick up the game. Absolutely hilarious. There are few parts that are so outrageous that I think even the YT Lets Players had to censor them before posting the gameplay to their channels. My only real complaint is that I wish it was longer. It was that fun.

Topless Robot goes over high and low points of the game. The screenshots are . . . well, they're something else.
