Natalia Nogulichisnkasnda (Nechayev) was on Tori Spelling's hysterical (yes, Tori Spelling, yes, hysterical) sitcom So NoTORIous. Actually, for that matter, Brian George (Bashir's father) was in the same episode as her husband.
Anabanana
John Billingsley was on Prison Break tonight. He played the vice president's (not-dead) brother.

Dang! I *knew* he looked familiar! Of course, he was shown for about two seconds, but it's nice to have him identified.
(Wasn't that a great episode? I didn't think there was any way for me to feel pity for T-bag, but I did.)

Am I crazy? Is that Gates McFadden in a commercial for something called People_Ready or something like that. It's a Microsoft product, I think. I can't pay attention because I'm too busy trying to figure out if that's her.

Aww, now I'm sad I don't watch Prison Break because I'd like to see John Billingsley again.
Peachy Keen
Foxy Phloxy! Whee! The quality of this show just got better! It's got Admiral Cain, and Phlox and pretty, pretty boys running around half-nekkid! Whoo! Pirson Break rocks!

Ahem. I'm a grownup. I swear.
thingamajig
A new NBC sitcom is coming called Teachers. It doesn't look very good, but everybody's least favorite time-traveler Daniels, Matt Winston, is showing up in the promos.

Did anyone watch this last week? We did, and I literally did not laugh, chuckle, grin, smile, or even think "that was funny" one single time. What a steaming pile of crap. Poor Matt Winston (and Kali Rocha, I like her but she can't save this stinker).

That was Nechayev?! Whoa. The woman fighting with Tori over the pink shawl? Whoa. I so did not recognize her. I mean, Brian George, yes. But not her. Must've been the change of hair color. (And yeah, it was hysterical!)

I had the same reaction. I only watched the first ten minutes, but it was so lame. My step-mom saw the whole thing and said it was really, really bad. At least Matt winston was a recurring character on Scrubs; I think that makes it even.

Bad, bad me, I didn't realise that til I came here. I hope he's on much more of the season.

At least on Scrubs his character intentionally sucked. And that's before the HoYay.

Ohmigod, I thought I was the only one! I'm pretty sure that's McFadden. And, I must say, she looks fabulous.
keckler
Sisko and Rambo, together at last.
cutecouple
I still don't get how what he does is "singing," either.
What Shatner does is more spoken word. From what I've heard coming out of his mouth, he's not completely tone deaf, but definitely hasn't had much musical training.

At the recent Vulkon Convention, Connor Trinneer (Star Trek: Enterprise) revealed that he was shooting an episode of NCIS in which he would be playing a bad guy that kidnaps one of the main characters.
keckler
I just hope that character isn't played by Padma Lakshmi.
dbrugg
Thankfully, there are plenty of interesting hostage choices on NCIS that don't involve Padma Lakshmi. Two of them could easily be Trek fans, but I'm torn as to whether it would be a good idea or not to deal with that in the episode.

Matt Winston was on Medium last night, playing a creepy jerk teacher. I really expected his character to be even worse than he was, simply because it was Daniels.
Peachy Keen
Frakking Daniels! I can't watch Tv without that idiot popping up! (Wow, totally unreasonable anger at the actor on behalf of the character. I'm off the deep end now!)
thingamajig
Yeah, they showed the teacher that the daughter had been talking about, and I said, "Ah, hell, it's freaking Daniels!"

Sometimes I feel bad for Matt Winston, but then I remember, "Frakking Daniels!"
Cleo256
I'm sure you've all seen his commercial by now, where he's a clueless boss congratulating his underling on one year on the job, and he can't get the underling's name right.

Hey, nice to see Matt Winston getting work. I sort of like him. I don't think it's his fault Daniels sucked.
thingamajig

I don't either, actually. I just have the same visceral "frakking Daniels!" reaction to his face that PK apparently does.

I was thinking that had to be him.
Peachy Keen
I remember seeing him in a movie preEnterprise with MaryKate and Ashley. It was a cute movie (as far as Olsen twin movies go) and because of that I was interested the first time he popped up on "Cold Front." However, as soon as he said Temperoral Cold War I was annoyed and by the end of the episode I hated every fiber of his being. Apparently that hasn't diminished.

ETA: After all the hate for him, Frakking Daniels showed up Bones this week too! Damn him!
Peachy Keen
Connor Trinneer guest stars on NCIS tomorrow.
Anabanana
Thanks for the heads up, Peachy! I had seen a blurb about the episode in TV Guide and wondered if it was the previously mentioned CT-as-villain show.
Warden
Connor Trinneer guest stars on NCIS tomorrow.

And "Mr. Vulcan" (as Neelix would say) is joining him. Tim Russ also guest-stars.
Anabanana
squee! I've always liked Tim Russ. I can't wait to watch the recording (I'm at work right now -- I know, but deadlines wait for no woman) this weekend.
Isaboe
Ha! I knew that was Tuvok! CT is sure enjoying playing the bad guys.
pennyq
I taped it (I had too many other things to watch last night). I figure I can drool over Conner later. He's certainly making the rounds through the CBS dramas, isn't he? I wonder if this means that CBS would like to find a permanent role for him somewhere and keep him. Well, if they do, whatever the show, I'll be a loyal viewer.
lith4
I taped NCIS. Too much work to do to watch.

Connor Trinneer and Tim Russ! What a bonus to hear that Tim Russ is on the show too. I haven't seen him in anything in a long while.
Anabanana
Nothing wrong with CT's performance (emotive, as usual), but I don't think much of NCIS. In fact, if we were ranking CT's guest performances based on the entirety of the episode, I'd rank that below Stargate:Atlantis. Plus, Tim Russ's performance was too brief and his jacket was way too big.
Warden
Star Trek alumni abound on A.I. Assault tonight on SCIFI at 9/8 PM CDT. George Takei, Michael Dorn and Robert Picardo star.
Peachy Keen
I caught a rerun of the second episode of Gilmore Girls the other day and recognized one of Rory's teachers at Chilton as the talented John Billingsley. He was a Lit Prof which was especially interesting because he hosts a book club on his website.

I don't watch Boston Legal regularly, but I caught it just now, and the preview for next week showed an odd Trek duo- series star William Shatner talking with guest star Jeri Ryan.

Kirk and Seven. The mind boggles.
nelamm
Well, Jeri Ryan was on Boston Public, which once crossed over with The Practice, of which Boston Legal is a spinoff, so I wonder if she'll be reprising her old role.

(All David E. Kelley shows, of course- Ally McBeal crossed over as well.)

But yeah, Kirk and Seven...wow.
Peachy Keen
Anyone placing bets on how quickly he bags her? ;) It IS the Shat after all!
Quickbeam
OK, I went back the requisite 15 pages and didn't see this...I'm sure it is here somewhere. I screamed like a 12 year old when I saw Marina Sirtis in "Crash". I really don't accept these people in other roles, it seems. Plus she only had about 2 lines.

I saw Barrie Ingham (Danilo O'Dell) in a play/fundraiser playing Alfred Lunt. He's super tall (towered over me) and very sweet. This was kind of a posh event so he laughed when I told him where I knew him from. Said the gig on NG got him a ton of work.

Kate Mulgrew was in last week's episode of Law and Order:SVU (that we finally got around to watching). She played some kind of attorney on the federal level. Also, Jeff McCarthy (Roga Danar, TNG's "The Hunted") was the victim's father.
FoolishWanderer
Okay, so I saw X-Men 3, featuring Patrick Stewart. It's good, but IMO not really up there with the others. There seems to be just something missing. The FX & stunts are bigger and better, but it's like the 'heart' of it has decamped to Superman. Also, PS has had a haircut! He got rid of the little bit of hair he had left, and is now totally bald! He's still a good actor, though.
Anabanana
I saw John Billingsley prominently featured on a trailer for a series called "The Nine." Looks vaguely interesting.

He's always played Professor X with that haircut. Professor X is bald bald, no hair at all. Even in the first movie, he was without that Picard-style white fringe.

I saw John Billingsley prominently featured on a trailer for a series called "The Nine."
I read that his wife, Bonita Friedericy (who appeared as one of assimilated researchers in the Borg episode "Regeneration"), is also on that show.

It's been a while, but I still can't get over that Robert Knepper, who was Wyatt on TNG, is T-Bag from Prison Break.
Anabanana
OMG, I actually remember that guy! (Not by name, but I remembered him from the picture.) He also had a tiny bit part in Good Night and Good Luck. He does a great job as T-bag.
Isaboe
Jolene Blalock is in a Lifetime movie on the 11th.
I Dream of Murder: Haunted by the death of her high-school boyfriend, a therapist endangers her own life when she investigates the murder of a patient.
tothemax
If that's not the quintessential Lifetime movie title, I don't know what is.
Isaboe
The byline is even better! "Sometimes you don't want your dreams to come true"!
tothemax
Oh, wow. That is spectacularly awful.

I have to watch this movie.
Alejandra
If that's not the quintessential Lifetime movie title, I don't know what is.

"Mother May I Sleep with Danger"

Let me repeat: "MOTHER MAY I SLEEP WITH DANGER"
nqllisi
Yeah, that really is the best title ever. Sadly, I don't think it starred any Trek-folk.
tothemax
"Mother May I Sleep with Danger"

How could I have forgotten that one? I think it's best that no Trek-folk were involved.

It's been a while, but I still can't get over that Robert Knepper, who was Wyatt on TNG, is T-Bag from Prison Break.

Wow. Now that I have this information, I can't help but imagine an edgy sitcom following, 20 years later, the dysfunctional marriage of Troi and T-Bag. He'd always be plotting to kill her, she'd always sense it and comically foil his plans at the last second.

This also means I'm going to have to actually watch "Haven" the next time it cycles thru on Spike TV.

Also, I loved this bit from the Memory Alpha link on Wyatt:

"The marriage was scheduled for early 2364, however, it was permanently cancelled when Wyatt found his fantasy lover aboard a Tarellian ship."
