I saw him in the credits and made a mental note to look for him. Then I couldn't figure out who he played, so I checked imdb this morning. He was the crazy homeless guy! I totally didn't recognize him.

Hey! Didn't realize all these threads had moved. Glad to see they're still in existence.
Anyway, watching West Wing on Wednesday, kept looking at the Hoynes staffer who was hitting on Donna. Turns out it was Koss, the Vulcan architect. Didn't recognize him without the ears!

Looks like a cult flick that fans will eat up. It's gotten pretty good reviews too.

You know that creepy thing E! is doing where they re-enact that day's events in the Michael Jackson trial using actors? Apparently the actor playing the judge is Jack Donner, the really old Vulcan from "Kir'Shara" who wound up with Surak's Fucking Katra. He was also in "The Enterprise Incident" as a Romulan Subcommander.

Did you see that commercial where the Sisters Duff are arguing about mints? I think the non-Duff actor in it played Kivan in Rocks & Shoals and The Magnificent Ferengi. I'd recognize that misshapen head and those creepy eyes anywhere. That dude reminds me of those monkeys with the big eyes and the hands with the pads on the fingertips that only go out at night.

I was watching 24 earlier and saw Ned Vaughn who I later realized when he put on a uniform that he was Ensign Corey from "Tapestry". One of my favorite non-Q titled Q episodes.
He's slated to appear in next week's episode as well.

Has anyone seen the ads on Spike for Invasion Iowa? At least I think that's the name. I only caught the ad in passing, but it's starring Shatner and apparently they're playing a hoax about space invasion on a town in Iowa.

I heard about it as it was happening (I'm from Iowa), and I can't say I'm too happy about it. A bunch of Hollywood people come and play a small town for chumps. Talk about coastal elitism.

He also claimed in an interview that they passed around money and that seem to make most of the hurt feelings go away. Frankly, as a Midwesterner, I'm insulted they even passed the money around.

I'm pretty sure George Takei is doing radio spots for TAG body spray. He is the voice of the TAG hotline, but can't list all the choices because he's swarmed by women who can't resist himm - presumably because of the body spray, but we know it's because of The Voice.
Among the gems he says is "if you're surrounded by crazed hotties, press one." That's right up there with his saying Hot Wet Bitches on The Daily Show.

The death of Johnnie Cochrane led me to the IMDb page for Phil Morris, who played Jackie Chiles on Seinfeld (a character based on Cochrane). His very first credit is as one of the kids in TOS's "Miri." I've never seen the episode- can anyone confirm this, or is it a mistake because of a common name, as sometimes happens on IMDb?

Greg Morris, Phil's dad, was working on Mission Impossible, which was shot on the same studio lot as TOS, so having Phil show up on "Miri" wasn't too far-fetched. And to keep this on topic, Leonard Nimoy later worked on MI, and Phil appears in STIII, Voyager and DS9.

In Desperate Housewives recently, the actress who plays Maisy Gibbons has been driving me crazy because I was sure I recognised her from Trek somewhere but I couldn't place her. I finally got it - she's Amelia Earhart from VOY's "The 37s". How tragic is it that this is what occupies my brain?
