That's most of the information I could find on the show. I didn't see a thread for the show so I thought i'd start one.

This show finally premiered last night following "It's Always Sunny ...". I must say that I enjoyed it a great deal. It does have a bit of boys club feel to it, but who knows how that will go as things proceed. I think it is a good companion pieces to Sunny and it's light-years better than that crappy show "Testees" FX came out with a little while ago.

There are some really good comedic actors in front of the camera and I hope it gets better and better as time goes on. I also know from an interview that "The League" isn't going to be the main plot point driving the show foward every week, if that bothers anybody. I can't wait to see more.

I agree it's a good companion to Sunny & without any timeslot competition in my world, it's a welcome addition to Thursday nights.

I'm especially glad for Nick Kroll, who had to suffer through Cavemen.

How they determined the draft position, on the kid's potato sack race, and the size of the trophy made me laugh. I'll give the show a shot.
ZeroForce
The guy who drafted Keyshawn would've gotten soooooo much more shit in real life.

Also, Leslie Bibb is gorgeous. Too bad they've got her playing a shrew.

Full disclosure: I'm in a Fantasy Football League, and am way too into it.

I really liked it. It was a whole lot raunchier than I expected, and pretty funny. "Mine's not working, and she don't have any" got a delayed reaction as I had to process what exactly was being discussed.

Perhaps "Sunny" has found a true companion show. I have high hopes.

What were the words to the song Taco (?) sang at the birthday party? I can't get the line "and your mom came at least 3 times" out of my head.
VaVaVoom
I really enjoyed this show! I think Taco was my favorite character. The Oracle storyline had my howling though.

I am way too into fantasy football too, pakelihe. I giggled when Paul Scheer's character drafted Michael Turner first. He was my first pick this season too!

I was expecting another Testees and have been surprised at how many laughs the show gets out of me. It has some pretty sly insights into married life, and life after kids, which I wasn't expecting. Maybe it is the raunchy factor, and not expecting certain things to be said out loud or seemingly out of nowhere, but so far I am looking forward to the time after Always Sunny.

This show is absolutely hilarious.

I loved Pete (?) watching the porn while working out and telling his wife about 'The Kidney Shifter' move he was picking up ... so wrong.

And still can't stop laughing about the "hey, we could be eskimo brothers too - did you ever have sex with your sister?"
pakelihe
Hurray for Nadine Velasquez and her perfect boobs. I had thought she was being under-utilized on MNiE for a while, and I now feel vindicated. She brought some nice funny last night.

I'm enjoying this way too much, and laughing out loud several times per show. I hope they can keep up the comedic momentum.

Damn, like I need another comedy to put on my must watch list. I think i'm sold on this show already.

I've been singing "vagina hubris" in my head all morning so far. Taco's song are so inappropriate but also so hilarious.

My biggest laugh this week might just be the outfit Paul Sheer was wearing in the club. What was that a leather hango and leather set? Hilarious!
braggtastic
Are you kidding me? Nadine Velasquez doesn't have a lisp? I figured she was putting on the spanish accent on MNiE, but not the speech impediment.
ZeroForce
Peyton Manning for Fred Taylor and Torry Holt? That's just fucking evil. Also, it'd never happen in any real league, because the rest of the league would revolt at how unfair that trade is. And to the commissioner's team? Sorry - he's removed. Done.
VaVaVoom
Definitely. Does their league not have any veto rules??

I you liked Taco's songs, Jon LaJoie has been writing ridiculous songs for a few years.

"Everyday Normal Guy" is my favorite.

As a woman who does not like football, let alone understand fantasy football, I'm still really enjoying this show.

Is no watching this show but me? I'm loving it right now. The situations these people are in ring very true to life.

I also love that the frustration over scrambling to pick up Coffee for Gore really happen for many fantasy owners.

This show is just really operating on all cylinders.

Question: Would any be able to actually pick up Coffe while games are still going on. In my leagues, I can't even try to get him until Monday and you don't know if actually got him until Wednesday.
VaVaVoom
That wouldn't happen in my league either. Ours is like yours.

I got Coffee during the draft so I was excited to use him. Too bad he was a big zzz.

Ruxin killed me last night. The guys should kill him for making them sit through the 4-course paella dinner. Too cruel.
GemGirl
OK, DH LOVES this show. So does my 17 yr old. I get some chuckles here & there, but as a female with a raunchy sense of humor (and a football fan)... its too much testosterone for me.

That being said, do parents these days really think its ok for their kids to play with shit? Really? Is this some Dr Phil dangerous-psyche thing? Because. Dayum. Not ever. Squicks me out completely just thinking about it.
ZeroForce
I play in an ESPN league, and so long as it's before the 49ers' kickoff, I could pickup Coffee and switch Gore out, as long as I could drop a player on bye or who hadn't kicked off yet to pick Coffee up. Wouldn't help if the 49ers were the early game, but if they were the afternoon, evening or Monday game? Totally possible. But not during the game.

Ditto. I laughed so hard at Taco's song, I scared my cat off the bed.

Perfect companion to Sunny. Although, I did also like Testees; it's just too ridiculous.
pakelihe
I laughed so hard this week when Taco showed up in costume at the window with the meat cleaver, I woke up my six year old. When he came out and saw the costume, he wanted to watch the rest of the show. To avoid the stigma of being the worst parent in the world, I sent him back to bed...
