The Fresh Beat Band is a live-action preschool musical sitcom set to original pop songs with preschool-friendly lyrics. Marina, Kiki, Twist, and Shout are the Fresh Beats--four best friends in a band who go to music school together and love to sing and dance.
For the Fresh Beats, just about any situation can lead to a full-blown song-and-dance performance. From the moment they wake up, everything that the Fresh Beats do is infused with musical fun. All songs embody an upbeat, contemporary format with preschool-friendly lyrics that the whole family will enjoy.

HATED The Doodlebops with the heat of 1,000 burning nuns, and might end up hating this even more. Fortunately the pre-school members of the household seem completely disinterested in the nearly-constant previews, and I haven' had to be subjected to a viewing of an entire show. I hope the trend continues...

Unfortunately, my 3-year-old is already obsessed with the Fresh Beats. He loves this show! I put it on to keep him occupied for 30 minutes.

It's not a bad show. The songs are catchy and everyone's all smiley and happy. There are so many other shows that are not tolerable, but this is one you can sit through. Over and over, if need be.

I like them much better than the Doodlebops. Their odd skin color and hands really kind of freaked me out. My little one is dancing around the living room while this is on.

Mayhaps I'm mistaken ( certainly wouldn't be the first time! ) , but isn't "The Groovy Smoothie" the name of the place where Carly and crew hang out? If so, why hasn't Sam scared Marine,Shout,et all. away? And yes I have preteens and toddlers at home!

Yep, the Groovy Smoothie is a setting for both iCarly and the Jump-Arou....er....The Fresh Beat Band.
Wonder why they couldn't use Jump-Arounds anyway.

They're lipsyncing, right? The voices don't seem to match the speaking voices.

The show isn't too bad (a mini Monkees, if you will) but I never understood what Twist was doing there. I mean, what IS Twist supposed to be? A DJ or something? Why would such a small band need a DJ?
I don't know if they're really singing, but whoever is is pretty good. The stories aren't bad either.

It sounds like their voices to me.
