From what I understand, there's going to be tribal separation between "heroes" and "villains," which means Burnett is ripping off Bunim-Murray Productions' use of "Good Guys" and "Bad Asses" in Inferno II and Inferno III. Now that's tragic. Also, you have the danger of some cast members getting a third chance for a million bucks, combined with "all-star" seasons ending with less-than-desirable winners (Amber, Parvarti), and you can end up with a potential gigantic clusterfuck where a tool like "Coach" ends up winning a million bucks. Or Rupert . . . like his fat ass deserves another seven-figure payday.
Is anybody else more optimistic than I am about this? All we know for sure is that Hatch can't break house arrest for S20, and Ramber is taking care of their new baby girl. Reckon anybody else is open to come over.

So this will be an entirely "previous contestant" season? Is this the last season for the series?

Based on a comment in Peachy's blog (and I haven't read any spoilers), I'm guessing Douche will be back for this season. But is he a hero or a villain? He's a hero in his own mind, but he was definitely one of the villains of his season.

I am doing a dance of joy just thinking of what a tribe with Jerri from Outback (not sure if she would be willing to come back after what happened on All-Stars), Randy, Corinne, Lisi and Rocky would be like!
And what if they bring back Lex? Where would he fit? One could make an argument that he could go on either tribe.

Oh, Tom and Ian. Pretty please, with a cherry on top, bring those two back together. In my opinion, they have been the very best of any Good Guys ever. If not Tom, at least Ian! I was heartbroken that he wasn't on the Fans vs. Favorites season. I need that tall drink o' water back on my tv screen!

And while you're at it, Mark Burnett, bring back Jonathan Penner for a third try -- but keep him away from sharp pointy things this time! :)

I hate to rain on anybody's parade, but if J-Penn gets a third chance, that opens the door to Steph, Dalton, and Amanda "The Closer" Kimmel. Does anybody want any of those options?

Yes.
I hope that Ben, Rupert and other annoying guys will be out in no time.

I don't see how giving Penner a third shot would open the door to the return of the others you mentioned, for the simple reason that the difference between Penner and the others is that they were voted out of the game legitimately the second time around (or, in Amanda's case, voted into second place the second time around.) Penner wasn't voted out of the game on his second shot; he was
forced out of the game due to an injury that wasn't his fault. In my opinion, he therefore deserves a third shot at the game because he never got to play the game on the second go-around to a natural conclusion the way the other "two-timers" did.

Don't forget Coach/Douche! He'd have to be on that tribe.
I'm assuming that there will be a spot open for at least one of the season 19 contestants.

I wonder if Mike from season two might come back. If anybody should come back it should be him. I mean the backstory alone would be great.

Is it confirmed that season 20 will be an all-stars one with a "heroes and villains" theme?
Will Bobby Joe come back for a third time? What about Stephenie? IMHO, no one who has appeared twice on Survivor should be permitted to return.

I agree. I don't need to see anyone a third time. There are plenty of people from the first seven seasons who weren't in All-Stars; they can invite some of them.

I would put a cravat for people who were injured. Yes. Jonathon was there for a second time - but he was forced out. (and as much as it will cheese me off to no end, I would even allow James *GAG* to come back because of the same reason) because the tribe never spoke on them.
