I did look for a Production category as it is fascinating of how they manage so many people and the phobias we carry about the creepy crawlies. How are the snakes "cared" for and is the wildlife close to the camps?

It's too bad there couldn't be any real risk to the contestants - this show is less and less about actual survival skills every year. I would be very disappointed to find out that those shots of monkeys, elephants, and other wild animals actually came from a U.S. zoo or that the animals were paid "actors."

I don't understand what this thread is about. Can someone explain so I can make the thread title a little more descriptive?

I'm not sure what the intent is but the "snake wrangler" makes me think that's about the boa or python that seemed to be at every tribal council :-). My husband & I wondered if he was getting union scale. I would guess that it was someone's pet & they took all of the video before the season started & then placed shots where needed. The wildlife I would guess is about the shots of crocodiles & owls & spiders, etc that they show between camp shots. The survivors are in the middle of the jungle & wildlife does exist out there but I think other than an elephant that someone last season maybe said was near camp, I've never heard of any of the contestants encountering other wildlife.

Ever since Sue Hawk did the snake and rat speech at the first Tribal Jury ending, snakes have been featured at the council area...so was just wondering who set the shots up and if they were wild or caged etc. The photographer for the series has been introduced but not sure just what his duties are.

Okay, I guess the thread title makes sense then!
