What would it take to fix Smallville (non-serious of course, a serious consideration of the topic is likely to reduce me to fits of lunacy) Along those same lines, what kind of bribe would you need to pretend you were happy while watching?

+1 to all of the above, and I love, love, love the idea of our own Crystal Phallus Awards, although I feel we should hold off on them until the end of the series. Sort of a final celebration/sendoff kind of thing.
