I'm pretty much convinced that someone will die on this show.......LIIIIIIVE! I feel bad for Tony. I have a love/hate thing with him, but he looked absolutely miserable.
Meanwhile, Ty is just too damn awesome. (Jewel, I now envy you.) For the win! Or at outlasting Chuck!

Geez Carrie Ann. I think her scores were written down before the night began, I have no idea what they mean. Shawn gets a ten for an elevator music salsa but a nine for a perfect (IMO) cha cha last week? I love Ty but that was one stiff samba, come on.
Lil Kim's mess up was blatant so why did Bruno ten them? You rise and fall on the team? I guess Len didn't think Gilles' footwork was atrocious if he nined them so he was joking or what?
How much do I want to believe the shirtless opening was Ty's idea? It was a great opening.
Team mambo was pretty good - Chuck has loosened up. But I felt Shawn did placeholding dancing tonight. I felt terrible for Melissa's rehearsal clip and while I'm not a fan, HER place holding dance was stronger than a couple of nine dances this season, but it got sevens. The scoring is just noise at this point of every DWTs I guess.
None of the team stuff can touch the team paso of last season, IMO.

Oh, Chuck. Something tells me Gilles would still be sexier with his shirt on than you would be with yours off.
The end of Team Mambo.... Uh, okay. Wow. That was... dumb and, seriously, what was the point? Team Tango was hot, though it looked like Lil' Kim messed up her steps a bit there towards the end of their solo. Still, liked it better than the Mambo.
Shawn seemed off her game tonight and just going through the motions. Disappointing after her spark last week.
Way, way disappointed in Len. I hate when the audience boos the judges, because it's usually uncalled for, but not tonight. Len's comment to Ty about it being his time to leave, after that crowd pleasing, fun salsa from Ty/Chelsie, was what was uncalled for. Whoa, that was harsh, especially considering how well Ty did in something that's proven to be not his strength. Sometimes that "It's your time to go." from one of the judges is just right at the right time because everybody knows the celeb is sucking like a sucking thing, but not in this case. Know your audience, Len.
I'm glad they found a way to keep Melissa in this week, and I'm hoping she'll stay in for next week. I'd hate for this to be the way she and Tony get ousted. (Considering they've used it twice now this season, maybe celebs better start going all out in dress rehearsals instead of "marking.") She and Tony both have grown on me over this season, and I feel they've earned their spot in the final five. That said, I'm ready for a Surprise!Elimination (as long as it's Chuck or Lil' Kim), because I'm not ready to see Ty leave. Technically, both Chuck and Lil' Kim are better than Ty (though I'd say only marginally so in Chuck's case) but I don't feel anything when either of them dance. Ty is fun! Both on the dance floor and off. Love him.

I did not get all the praise for Chuck's cha cha. He was way too stiff, in my opinion. And the choreography was kind of blech.
A part of me was wondering if it's 'fair' for Team Mambo to have four pros on their team instead of three. But then again, it's not that much of an advantage because Chuck was still in, and he's by far the weakest dancer. Now, if he had gotten injured and a male pro stepped in, then that would have been definitely unfair.
Oh, did Julianne subtly dis Lil Kim? I heard her say, "You are the best two girls in the competition," to Shawn and Melissa.
Team Tango was really screwed by that music. And Carrie Ann, guess what, it's a lot harder to be in unison for the mambo. Did she learn nothing from last season's paso v. cha cha?
ETA: Agree with those who say that Shawn's samba was disappointing compared to her riveting cha cha last week. But still, was it worse than Chuck's cha cha this week? Plus, it was more than one point better than Melissa's -- I know, I know, she was dancing with a rib injury, but considering that the judges are ostensibly supposed to critique based only on what they see...there was an entire moment where Melissa just stopped dancing period. Can't believe Len gave her an 8 while Chuckles got a 9 and Melissa got a 7. Len, you disappoint me. And he was doing so well, too. LOL. I had a Twilight Zone moment when Carrie Ann gave Shawn that 10. So she thinks this is a 10-worthy dance? What?

It was a pretty solid night of dancing. I thought Team Mambo was sort of stupid for the ending, but more so for letting Chuck dance last. Aren't you supposed to put your best dancer last? Not your worst. Or did they really think the Chuckianne chemistry was their selling point?
Kim did definitely mess up at one point, but other than that I liked Team Tango.
Poor Tony. He looked so miserable.

At this stage of the competition Carrie Ann's scores and rationales are so prefabricated it is pointless to parse them. She's even got her squirms, squeals and jumps on pre-set.

Tonight was disapointing. I thought Gilles Lindy was terrible, Chuck hardly cha cha'd and I didn't think Lens comments to Ty were very nice. Shawn was SO stiff tonight and it's too bad. Lil Kim nailed her paso but fell apart during the team dance. Team mambo should have gone for more choreo than the tricks. Team TAngo did a nice job minus a few problems. I think tonights bottom 2 will be Gilles and Ty. We could be saying goodbye to Gilles tomorrow.

Felt like the night started out slow and ended on an "up" note with the team dances, or maybe the up note was the end of Team Mambo's dance.
First and foremost I felt horrible for Melissa, I really hope she is okay and I hope she stays in the competition. I really want her in the finals. You could tell that the judges did not want to give her those scores whereas with Steve-O they didn't care that much. Tony also looked so down, and that jive even with the marking looked like it would have been awesome. Voted for her tonight.
As for Ty, he isn't going anywhere, Len gauranteed that by saying he should hit the trail. Also did you hear the audience cheer for him.
I was laughing so hard at the end of Team Mambo's dance that I had tears in my eyes, loved the redone of Beyonce's Single ladies. By the way the singers were HORRIBLE, there was one point in the song I swore the lead singer was choking.
Shawn's dress distracted me from her dance, I felt like she was wearing a blue cookie monster and I also recognized one or two moves from her cha-cha last week. The hip movement was lacking and the lost some of the performance factor from last week. Also I felt as if Mark was outdancing her in parts of both their dances tonight.
It was a night of the shimmery dresses, everyone was wearing fringe.
At this point I want Chuck out. Ty I want to stay, he is too adorable and I like everyone else left.
*crosses fingers* and hopes Melissa is safe tomorrow!!

Completely agree. Granted I'm a Ty fan, but Len's critique seemed unduly harsh, especially since Ty did a much better salsa than many people were expecting. I'm wonder if his overly harsh statements may backfire, since Ty had two relatively strong dances tonight.
I continue to not get Chuck's metamorphosis. He still looks, to me, like a sociopathic oaf out on the dance floor.
What to do with Melissa was tough this week, given the team dance. This was probably the most expedient solution, but it does not seem quite fair for her to get a team dance score for a dance she didn't perform. And, granted, they didn't score Lacey's dancing, but it still seems like an advantage to have 4 pros and 2 stars - staying in unison, for instance, would be much easier.

I lost count of how many times I wished for Carrie Ann to fall of a cliff tonight. The hypocrisy of her comments to Team Mambo after drooling over Chuck minutes earlier...ugh. Please, can she be sacked?
Highlight of the night? Julianne dissing her brother's partner when she told Shawn and Melissa that they were the best women in the competition. She immediately lost points by putter herself front and center in the group dance. Shawn got lost in the shuffle, as she had to hold her own against not one, but two pros. It didn't help that Mark, much as I'm loving him this season, seemed to be outdancing her.
Remarkably, Ty was the best part of Team Tango for me. I hope he can outlast Chuck ,and yes, even Lil' Kim. She just doesn't "wow" me as a performer, no matter how often the judges rave over her. Her tango was kind of lukewarm.
Glad to see Derek is back to his old, annoying, mugging-to-the-camera self. I noticed that him, Mark, and Cheryl seemed the most tense of the pros during the group practices.
I hope Chuck goes tomorrow, but I really have no idea. Shawn and Melissa should be safe, but who knows?

I didn't really enjoy the individual dances that much tonight. As for the group dances, I liked Shawn's part of the mambo and of course Tony's part was great, I just don't see why they would start off with their strongest and end with their weakest. The ending was a bit too much for me. Team Tango was smart to start off with a relatively strong dancer then go to their weakest and then their strongest. That was good strategy, Lil Kim bored me with her tango, though. I wasn't expecting that. I'm proud of Ty, he really had the crowd going crazy for him and I love how according to Len, Ty did the best on his team.

I did not watch tonight but glad to hear Shawn didn't do too badly on her samba. I'd rather she underperformed it than the disaster Mark created for Kristi (too bad because I liked that pair).
Not surprised Team Tango did better than Team Mambo. You had LK and Gilles on one side (you know they would have done well on a Tango) and Ty who performs ballroom better. Then you have a Mambo which is harder to be in sync with and...Chuck.

That Brittany Womanizer song makes my brain bleed. I hate it as much as I hated last week's group dance song.
I thought Len's comments were way harsh to Ty. He's so going to get backlash votes. He's so endearing in the clips leading up to the dance.
I caught the rehearsal of Melissa and missed everyone else because I had to work. How did Melissa hurt herself? Did they say?

Ugh. This show is turning into American Idol with all of the judging bias and throwing people under the bus.
Whatever, Len. I know Ty is not the best dancer but imo he's not much worse than Chuck. I can't stand Chuck and Julianne. They're dating and they have absolutely no chemistry. They are so overrated and you can see how much the judges are trying to keep them in. And yeah, I heard Julianne say Shawn and Melissa were the best girls.
I haven't really voted except the first week. But I voted tonight for Ty. I hope it helps. He and Chelsie have actual chemistry.

(Considering they've used it twice now this season, maybe celebs better start going all out in dress rehearsals instead of "marking.")
The bitch of it is that that wasn't even their dress rehearsal. The dress would have been at around 4 or 5 in the afternoon with them in full costume and probably going all out (given Steve-O's situation earlier this season). The tape we saw was just to get them used to hearing the song by the band and it's pretty much supposed to be used for marking and tightening up anything that doesn't go well with the live music, etc. It's a shame. I felt bad for them and I'm not even a big Melissa fan (although I'd kill to look like her).
I'm a little disappointed. My favorites - Shawn and Gilles - didn't do that well tonight. I hope people vote for them hard!
Oh, and while I've never not liked her, my appreciation for Lacey's skill went WAAAAAAY up tonight. I know they're pros and all, but she looked like she'd been in on that dance since the beginning, rather than just a couple of hours. She was awesome. Loved her solo part with Tony.

Aw, Tony. I really hope he and Melissa can continue in the competition. I wonder if they can manage to get enough sympathy votes to overcome their last place finish. Man.
Carrie Ann so clearly gave Shawn that 10 to make up for last week. And don't get me started on the scoring for the team dances. Team Tango definitely did not deserve a 10. Bogus.

I really don't even know what to expect tomorrow night. Ty is just so darn likeable and you know Melissa will get the sympathy vote (which she deserves IMO). I want it to be Chuck, but I'm starting to dread that he will somehow find his way to the finals.
I'm not sure that Gilles was all that memorable with the Lindy, but the Tango helped him. It brought him back to the the Gilles that the audience knows and likes.
I actually thought Shawn was being outdanced a bit in the Group Mambo, though she was trying her damn hardest to keep up with Shawn and Lacey.

Wow, Ty! If he goes out this week, he certainly went out on a high note.
Were Gilles and Cheryl out of step at the beginning (they were doing things on opposite legs instead of the same leg while dancing side-by-side)? Or was that what they needed to do to get into the right position for the next move?
Team Mambo - meh. I loved Team Tango (Kim and Chelsea got their earrings tangled - hee!), but what the heck was Len talking about with Gilles' footwork? I didn't notice anything. Then again, I was rather distracted with Gilles doing Latin again.
Kudos to Lacey for stepping in. However, I don't buy it that she first found out she was dancing 2 hours, or 15 minutes, or whatever it was before the show (both times were mentioned). As a professional dancer, yes, I'm sure she could learn her part in that amount of time (Tony must be getting tired of practicing in the parking lot while the show is going on). But if that really was all the notice the producers had about Melissa not dancing, then how'd they have a costume ready for Lacey in time? Are she and Melissa really the same size? I suspect, but obviously cannot prove, the PTB's had her preparing since last week to understudy Melissa for the team dance, since they knew Melissa already had injured ribs. (I also suspect, but again can't prove, they had the same deal going for Gilles because of his shoulder)

Oh, did Julianne subtly dis Lil Kim? I heard her say, "You are the best two girls in the competition," to Shawn and Melissa.
That was kind of rude, I thought. I understand that she was trying to be the morale booster, but still, not cool. As much as I dislike Derek, I love Lil Kim, and personally, I'd rank her above Shawn.
I'm so glad they brought in Lacey for the Team Mambo. Love her. And I know she was a last minute addition, but having them lead off was...not good for Shawn and Chuck. Tony and Lacey were awesome, and it put everyone else at a disadvantage. And I got a kick out of the ending, even though I can't stand that Beyonce video.
Team Tango: I actually thought Ty/Chelsia were better than Lil Kim/Derek. I also loved Ty's Salsa, even if it was a little stiff. I hope Len's comments backfire, but lately everything seems so scripted, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was said to keep them around, and have a "Shocking!" elimination tomorrow.
I don't know why, but Chuck is growing on me. He's much goofier than he was when he started, but Julianne? She can take a long walk off a short pier, for all I care.
Lance in the audience! I'll admit, I swooned a little. Shut up.
Also, I can only imagine how awesome Tony and Melissa's Jive would have been. It looked fantastic from their marking rehearsal, much better than some of the "final" jives that are performed. This scoring system sucks. And ten bucks says they got "We Got the Beat" for Belinda Carlile, if she had stuck around long enough to dance to it.

I know, Shawn really suffered from Melissa's injury (aside from, you know, Melissa herself!) because she pales in comparison to Julianne and Lacey. Especially for something like the mambo. She seemed slightly out of sync with them at one point, too.
That isn't meant as an insult to her, because, duh, the other two are pros. But still...it was very noticeable to my eye.

You know I won't lie I was kinda expecting something a bit more showy with Team tango, but then again the Tango is a walking dance at it's base. I felt like all three team Tango's did similar solos where Team Mambo each had distinctive ones.
Also Lacey did a great job for learning that choreo in a few hours.

I love Ty, I will be so sad if he leaves, I know he's not the best dancer, and pretty much has no chance of winning, but for me, he is the most enjoyable to watch.
I mostly find the pre-dance practice clips kind of repetitious and boring, but you never know what Ty's going to say next, he's got that natural dry wit, that makes me laugh, and he's so earnest, so much like the little boy who wants to please everyone, if you know what I mean.

Poor Tony. That look on his face was clearly "I can't believe I have my first decent shot at winning this thing since season 2 and she busts a rib. WHY ME?"
Melissa deserves to stay; her rehearsal was better than some of the full-on dances.
Len's comment to Ty just plain sucked. It was rude, it was uncalled for...it just sucked. No judge should ever say to the contestant "you should go home". It's just mean.
I thought Ty was awesome - he's the kind of contestant the show needs most; the regular guy who discovers that this dancing thing is actually fun. He looked like he was having a blast and I thought he was really leading - which you don't often get with the male celebs.
I really hope Li'l Kim goes home. I just don't get her at all. I don't like her dances, I don't like her overly plastic-surgeried face, I just do not understand her appeal, period.

Granted I can't find fault with Lacey who stepped in at the last minute, but I think Julianne could have toned it down a smidge. You're not supposed to make the non pro dancing alongside you look bad (Shawn, not Chuck). There was no feasible way poor Shawn was going to keep up with that, but Julianne's solution seems to always be to just try to draw the attention onto herself.

I think most of these pros could step into something like that in five minutes - just give them counts and phrases of steps and they're good, especially since these team dances are geared to the celeb. That said what impressed me a lot with Lacey was she danced well but did not overdance with Tony. That was I thought her real contribution, dancing down so someone like Shawn wouldn't be overshadowed when it was her turn. Really nicely done.
Want to know why three girls and Derek made it to the red room in good time but the guys were late (Ty and Gilles). Did Giles show Ty something on his iphone? Drag him off to craft services? Flash the crowd?
VA32h - yeah to what you said about Len, and to that I'd add "canned". I think Chuck is going out. That's all I've got to explain the disconnect between what's on the floor and what comes out of these judges' mouths. The great Chuck love gets by me and I'm convinced is not sincere in them.

I think Ty will be safe tomorrow. He is tied for third with a combined score of 52. According to Len, his tango was the best out of the three (although I don't understand what Len is talking about with Gilles' footwork, either). He's tied with Shawn and his score is higher than Chuck's and Melissa's. Plus, he had a great salsa and he is popular with the fans. Melissa's score is WAY low, so unless people give her a lot of sympathy votes (which is entirely possible), she may go home tomorrow. However, Chuck earned the second lowest score tonight, so I think Ty will last past Chuck.

I wonder if it was also at Julianne's insistence -- she did seem to take charge during the rehearsal -- that she and Chuck went last. Shawn was definitely off her game tonight, but she's still a sight better than Chuckie, who should have been sandwiched in the middle IMO.
This is how the order of the Team Mambo couples should've gone: Shawn/Mark, Chuck/Julianne, and then finally Lacey/Tony. Saving the best for last and all that.

Sexiest moment – the look Dmitry gave Chelsie when he pulled her close to demonstrate whatever the hell salsa move they were trying to teach Ty. Yum! Also, yay for the audience cheers for Dmitry showing up! You hear that, DWTS decision makers?
Lil Kim’s boobs are not so big that she needs to remain five feet away from Derek at all times while in hold. Also, she needed more tension in her arms during the paso. I continue to love Derek’s choreography.
A ten for Team Tango Bruno, really? Kim messed up so egregiously even you couldn’t overlook that. Unless you forgot everything that happened after the two shirtless hotties showed up at the beginning of the dance – yeah, that’s it. Also – Len? No one except you was looking at Gilles’s feet. Mostly.
Bless Mark for bringing his mother to practice. Finally, finally I don’t feel like I’m watching a gymnast performing ballroom choreography. Now, the performance side was lacking from her tonight in both dances (she almost seemed down), but her arms were quite lovely. But yes, Mark totally outdanced Shawn. More so than I’ve ever seen, I think.
Poor Tony. And poor Melissa – all of those clothing adjustments seen in that rehearsal clip will probably bother her as much as her injury! And even in a scantily clad rehearsal where they were just marking it, I thought she did pretty well.
I don’t give a flying fig about his technique tonight, Ty’s salsa was the dance of the night for me! Flipping YAY! Chelsie’s choreography knocked it out of the ballroom with that one.
Team Mambo – bless your collective, man-hose wearing heart! And I’m sorry Melissa got hurt, but I love to watch Lacey dance.
Chuck makes me laugh. Aside from his and Julianne’s obvious homophobia, that is.
I am off to listen to the original version of Womanizer to clean the DWTS version from my head. How fucked up is that?

Did any of you get the feeling that Len's comment to Ty was to insure voting for Melissa and also to influence the voters to keep Chuck in and stop voting for Ty? That's what it felt like to me. He knows that the comments influence the public so if he just comes out and says "you need to hit the road" that the voters will comply. Of course they may not but Len can try.

I think they will give Team Tango the encore. I'm still not really getting Len. I have no idea if Gilles footwork was bad or not. It might very well have been, but Len says that and then give them a 9? Okay then. Moving on.
I also don't think they would want to risk injuring Melissa in a dance that isn't even being judged, so hence I don't think they would give her an encore. I'd imagine she'd rest up until it comes time for them to start next weeks dances, provided they make it through that is of course. The only way I see them giving her an encore is if she is the one going home.

Tonight seemed better than the past three weeks, although I felt horrible about Melissa's injury. I can't imagine how she's going to compete next week.
Gilles and Cheryl - I thought you could see where the injury was holding him back. There wasn't so much of the sheer fun and craziness I was hoping for in the lindy hop. Even when he had the big leap over Cheryl's head, he was running so slow, it just felt safe...if leaping over someone's head can be safe! I thought they did a great job but I can see where he's had to slow down.
Kim and Derek - Did anyone else think she looked like a Borg with her makeup tonight? I'm finally seeing what people have said about her facial expressions and how distracting they are. There were a few times Derek was dragging her around, and the ending seemed off to me, but in performance quality, I thought she was amazing. Her hand movements were mesmerizing, and she managed to truly get into the character.
Did you notice that Shawn *only* mentioned Melissa, Gilles, and Kim as "stepping up their game"? Oops. I was not happy with the music choice they were given. "Get Down On It" IS NOT A SLOW SONG. The purpose is defeated, because you don't GET DOWN in slow motion, do you? I was very distracted. I thought they were good, but I thought Mark outdanced her to a noticeable degree.
Did you hear Len tell Chuck and Julianne that it's not where you start, but where you finish? Another attempt to get their golden couple to the finals? Jullianne gave them nice outfits and I saw some good hip action from Chuck sometimes, but I thought he looked very awkward and at times he was just standing there. This was a 9-9-8 dance? Should I just be happy they didn't give them a 10?
Between that and Len trying to get viewers to get rid of Ty, TPTB aren't exactly being subtle in their intentions. Are they hoping if Ty goes, his fans will vote for Chuck?
As for Ty and Chelsie's salsa, it was much better than I *ever* expected. I especially loved the end. Am I using a double standard? Yes. It wasn't as good as some of the others who are better natural dancers. Still, I liked them and I hope Ty gets to stay another week, I think he was better than Shawn and Chuck tonight, so I don't think he doesn't deserve to be there.

Stupid thunderstorm cut out my dish right after the Team Mambo! Totally missed the rest. Maybe I saw a different dance for Gilles and Cheryl, but I thought it was sadly lacking. I was waiting for Len to tear into them for all the bobbles, but then he praised them. They all praised that dance? Did anyone else see the mistakes?
Ty got most of my votes after that remark Len made.
Can I just say, I LOVE Lacey! Could watch her dance all day!

Melissa is going to be just fine. With those scores her fans and even those who aren't her fans will vote for her. She will get the sympathy vote. I think Ty will get a sympathy vote as well. Gilles is in a lot of trouble becuase not only was he the first dance, but the judges were lukewarm on him(so was the audience) and he got called out for being atrocious in the team tango. It seems that Gilles fire has gone out. Meanwhile Chuck's spark has turned into a massive flame and I think he'll be just fine tomorrow.

You're not supposed to make the non pro dancing alongside you look bad (Shawn, not Chuck). There was no feasible way poor Shawn was going to keep up with that, but Julianne's solution seems to always be to just try to draw the attention onto herself.
This. For all her other strengths, Shawn isn't a particularly showy dancer. It was bad enough the band was sleepwalking through her song, but she may as well have not been in Team Mambo, for all that she was outperformed. That was a very selfish move on Julianne's part, IMO, and it didn't even help their team.
I really hope Li'l Kim goes home. I just don't get her at all. I don't like her dances, I don't like her overly plastic-surgeried face, I just do not understand her appeal, period.
Like, Brooke, she's benefiting from Derek's "charm." I try not to hold who she's partnered with against her, but Kim peaked awhile ago for me. If she's getting by on performance rather than technique, I expect more. She's just competent, IMO. I forgot about her paso immediately after they were through. Unlike, Shawn, though Kim benefited from being the only female celebrity in her group. I won't be heartbroken if she leaves before Chuck, who, wonder of all wonders, didn't really annoy me tonight.

My guess is everyone, including Len, knows damn well Ty isn't going anywhere. And they are blatantly trying to repeat the thrill of Season 2 when Len was even harsher with Jerry Rice, who I think was the first one called safe the next night.
Any cyber bets that Ty is called safe first tomorrow night? The judges are instruments of instigation at this point. They're setting up the "surprise" ouster. Ty wasn't even bottom two all the times he's been the second to last person standing. It's story telling.

That is a shame, but I sort of feel that since she wasn't able to do the group dance, she should either have been eliminated or not gotten points for the group dance (which may be essentially the same as being eliminated). More than anything, IMO, she is being carried through to the next round despite not even doing a dress rehearsal on the one dance she performed. I think whoever goes home tomorrow will have a legitimate gripe.

I was laughing so hard at the end of Team Mambo's dance that I had tears in my eyes, loved the redone of Beyonce's Single ladies. By the way the singers were HORRIBLE, there was one point in the song I swore the lead singer was choking.
I agreed with Carrie Ann that the music was distracting but certainly not because it was so much fun. I don't really understand why they use those singers, it's totally distracting for me to listen to a Lite FM version of Single Ladies or Baby Got Back (which may have been the low point of the band as far as I'm concerned.)
I'm praying for Chuck to get the boot tomorrow, I like every single other team left and I want Ty to hang on one more week (and then leave because I do think the others deserve to outlast him, just not Chuck.)
I'm sure that ridiculous moment at the end of Team Mambo's routine was all Chuck's idea and as with most of his jokes, I'm sure he thought it was absolutely hilarious. He just strikes me as a total lame-o and since I'm no longer that thrilled with Julianne's personality, I'd like them to go.
I didn't think Len was very fair to Ty after his first dance, which actually shocked me. I never thought he could be remotely loose and I enjoy the dynamic between Chelsie and him. I'm glad he got props for the group dance because again, I was shocked that he could hold his own in a dance with Derek and Gilles.

Sending Ty home would be like kicking a puppy....
That said, I sent all my votes to Tony (and Melissa), purely out of sympathy.
Also, more so this season than any other, I think strong dancers have been slightly underscored just because the judges expect something "more" from them. Carrie's comments to Shawn tonight were exactly what I've been hoping someone would say. Unfortunately, they came at the wrong time, and so tonight's scoring looked even more random than usual....

I'm a Ty fan and I will never vote for Chuck. Never. When Ty goes home, I will give all of my votes to Shawn, instead of just half of them. However, I do see your point that Ty's fans might vote for Chuck, but I'm guessing that a majority of Chuck's fans come from Julianne's fanbase. *sigh*
Ty was great, he delivered, and he deserves to stay one more week.
I feel really bad for Melissa. I hope that she gets a lot of votes and it's Chuck who goes home tomorrow night. I'm not a Melissa fan, but she is a much better dancer than Chuck and I want her in the finals.
