So much dang dancing I don't even know where to begin. I looked over at the clock and was stunned to see it was already 8:42. Keep it up show!

I don't really know enough to truly judge the pro dancers but my favorite was Anna D...(that one's going to take awhile). Plus she's tall! I don't know how tall but she towered over Samantha. I'm sure Kym and Edyta would like a little reprise from the giants. I think Snow will win though...no one else is coming in with an already established fan base. Someone who actually knows what they're talking about break down the pro dancers for us, pretty please?

Sorry to see LT go but he didn't seem that upset! I like everyone left now (except maybe Chuck/Julianne) the next few weeks are going to be rough.

ETA: iamme2, Snow was on SYTYCD. Which would make her the fourth SYTYCD pro. I love Dmitri and I really like Chelsie but I really wish this show would stop taking dancers from SYTYCD. Unless their name is Pasha. Pasha, I have no objections against. (Yes, I know that is hypocritical. No, I don't care.)

I figured we'd have at least one SYTYCD alum in the pros. Was hoping for Artem. Got Snow. Same season, though, IIRC. It took me a second to recognize her. She came across just a wee bit bitchy. I still think she's fantastic, though!

SOOOOO happy to see LT gone. He and his attitude can get the hell off my screen now, thank you. Was it me, or did Edyta seem to be struggling to find nice things to say?

And the group dwindles, with the exception of Chuck I pretty much like everyone else left.

Of all the pro-dances I really liked the smooth waltz couple, or at least the male contender. The first couple I thought the guy outdanced the girl and the last couple didn't really wow me even though it was Alec's bro.

The show got me nervous with Kim and Gilles standing there, very happy they were safe. Also poor Ty, he is always left standing there.

LT seemed very happy to be leaving, the man had a 10 watt smile. Its on to the golf course.

I think I'm going to like the pro competition. The only one I didn't like was Ashley's sister and the judges loved her. I think either the middle woman or the second two men (Mayo and Alec's brother) are going to win. I liked the first guy too, but the judges really didn't say anything about him.

Not surprising to see LT leave.

I like the first woman who sang with those four female singers. Didn't care for the 2nd one as much. The dance was cute. That female dancer looked like a fairy out of my daughter's books.

Why does Snow have a fan base?

Am I the only one that does not like the lift heavy pro dances? I just wasn't feeling that pro dance to Celtic Women, I wanted to see more traditional dancing, and not some burly guy throwing his partner around like a sack of potatoes.

I am so happy that Ty is still there, LOVE him, but the next few weeks will be tough because there are so many good dancers left...Giles and Cheryl are my favorites.

As for the pros, Genya was kind of hot, and I wish that Brent? was a better dancer because it would be nice to see some diversity in the pros. Tall Gal is beautiful however.

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! I adored her on SYTYCD. She's a dynamite ballroom dancer and charismatic as all get out.

Is Ashley's sister one of the women who danced with her on the season three finale? Not a big fan of that routine. She looks a bit like Blossom.

I'm surprised Lawrence didn't walk out the exit door at the end. At least he had a smile on his face and hopefully has good memories of the experience.

Did Brent ever audition for SYTYCD? He looked familiar to me. He was cute but I can see him getting lost in the shuffle.

Why would they want to hire Alec's brother when they barely ever use Alec?

Someone should tell Mayo he doesn't have the body for those open shirts. He seems nice otherwise. He reminded me, facially, of Carson Kressley. Anna D seemed a bit toothy and a bit old, although I liked her. They both remind me more of the old-school DWTS.

I rolled my eyes when they asked Chuck and Julianne how it felt to tie Gilles and Cheryl. Chuck had such an insincere response, and Julianne was doing that fake golly gee routine of hers. She didn't mention that she went around to the press carping about her scores. They have been hyped and hyped for some time now and now we're supposed to see this as some hard-won comeback.

I think Lil Kim was probably in the bottom two, but I think they would rather have Ty out next. Meanwhile, Gilles is kept near the end. Was it to scare him, or his fans? He looked very frightened.

Good for Ty for his response to Samantha's trick question about who he wanted to be paired with for the team dance. "I know I want Chelsie on my team."

I'm not a fan of the lift heavy pro dances either. I think it almost always is too much and winds up taking away from the actual dancing, which is the reason I watch in the first place. The pros all kick ass anyway, so they would impress just as much if they actually stuck to straight up dancing. I'm not even going all CAI and saying all lifts are bad, but it winds up making the pro dances so cluttered. It's also not just the Wonder Triplets who are guilty of this. At this point almost all of them do it. Chelsie, Lacey, Tony, Karina, Maks and etc.

I'm glad LT left. He seems quite pleased. I would love for Chuckie to be next, but I'm thinking more likely it will be Ty. Even though they never sad B2, those probably were the B2 this week.

I thought Snow was really smart to kiss Genya. Now every man watching can imagine her kissing him.

I thought Anna D. was the standout.

All that dancing was just fantabulous. I loved how short the eliminations were, Tom was virtually speeding through the first set.

I felt that Lawrence played the "I want to go home" card last night and was pleased it worked. I think he's tried playing it before but not so blatantly. He had his smile behind Edyta's head during nearly all of the camera shots. I'm so glad he's gone, although I fear for Ty in the team dance.

I hate Samantha Harris.

I'm glad LT left. Now it's Chuck's turn next week. I really don't think Ty is in the bottom 2. I've been following his blog and the amount of responses he's been getting has doubled from when he first started. Also, votenumber1 hasn't listed him in the bottom two. I really hope he outstays Chuck and that whiny attitude of his.

Did I miss something? Mayo was the dancer in the suit, with the button up shirt and tie. I liked his dancing a lot, along with Genya. The judges raved about Afton, but while I thought she was competent, she doesn't have the same sparkling personality as her sister.

I agree with you that Lil Kim was probably in the bottom two, but I think that helps Ty. It seems like everyone loves Ty and I think he is going to stick around at least two more weeks. I think Lil Kim or Gilles will be going home next week, although I would love for it to be Chuck.

DWTs is so setting us up sticking Ty in that fake bottom two week after week. Prepare for shocking elim next week (if Chuck or Lil Kim are shocking)

Meh to the pro auditions. I don't watch SYTYCD - I just know Snow Urban from Cheryl Burke's myspace during season 2, then she became a pal of Karina's or maybe always was. Went on a DWTs tour.

I liked the pro dance more tonight because the camera crew had their act together this time.

Weren't they show dancers though? Isn't that what they're supposed to do?

Was the woman dancing (and being lifted a lot) in the Celtic Woman performance compete in the World Stars of Dance thing with Flately as the host? She looked really familiar. I usually think lifts are overdone but I have to admit that I was so impressed with her nimbleness and moves that I really liked it. I mean some of the shapes she made were almost impossible. I think it depends if it goes well with the music and we've had some great examples of too many tricks a couple of rounds ago with Shawn and Marks gymnastics heavy whatever that was (jive?) so it is easy to mess up a dance.

Did others feel that this was one of the less bloated or boring results shows they've done? Usually I can't get through the ep fast enough but I was entertained by this.

I think Ty was in the fake B2 last week (when it was probably Chuck), but I think this one was real. In the past I believe they truly have been messing with him and they have always waited until towards the end to declare him safe, but I really do think he was B2 last night. While I don't necessarily think Lil Kim might be pulling the votes some expect, I don't think she's been B2 yet.

That seemed like a good results show to me - not too much fluff, and a good amount of dancing and singing. Kim & Derek, Gilles & Cheryl, and Chelsie were all so cute in that group number. And loved some of those dresses and boots, especially on Julianne. I didn't watch on Monday night - was the group number a repeat from that show? Dmitry and Lacey were hot in their dance.

I didn't realize Snow was going to be on the show tonight! So, I totally missed her video package. How was it? Anyone know if and where I can find it online? So, about Snow... I LOVED Snow on SYTYCD! I was so disappointed when she got eliminated before being paired with Artem. How nice to see her back on my TV screen! But I didn't think she had quite the same spark or charisma I remember her having on SYTYCD. Maybe it was the different hair, less use of black eyeliner, or that she wasn't dancing solo. But despite that, I couldn't help it, I still voted for her! I hope other people did too.

Having said that, if Snow doesn't get voted on for next season, I'd be okay with Brent or Afton as the winner.

Does it seem ridiculous that instead of talking more about this season's DWTS dancers, I'm more excited about the former SYTYCD dancer that might be on next season?! But then again, I've had all season to be excited about this season's DWTS people. And it's been ages since Snow has been on my TV. Snow!! :-)

I hope Snow doesn't end up winning the pro competition. She looks so cheap and trampy, and has a very abrasive personality. My favorites were Anna D. and Genya.

Snow struck me as kinda bitchy. I preferred either of the second couple, if for no other reason than they dance standard, and there are already a jillion Latin dancers in the DWTS stable.

I finally get what people have been saying about Lil' Kim's facial expressions. Whatever the heck it was she was doing in the group dance was really weird and annoying.

The results show tonight was on the boring side. The pro I would pick is Anna D. She seems nice and I think she would actually compliment her parnter. Snow seems too all about herself and I think she would overshadow her parnter same for the guy who danced with Anna D. I was seriously scared for Gilles and Cheryl tonight. LT was the correct person to go home tonight. I have never seen a celeb so happy to be going home. Derek was really sweet during the group dance tonight. Right after Gilles and Cheryl did their solo dance Derek held out his hands to make sure Cheryl got down ok.

I love the sibling dynamic with the Houghs and I loved seeing Julianne all excited, talking to Derek after her samba. I prefer that to the screeching that was the actual confessional.

The pro dance competition was okay. Mayo reminded me of Carson Kressly as O2Sean pointed out and I thought Afton, I think that was her name, (Ashley's sister) was overpraised. I did not care for her dancing. I loved Anna and of the male dancers, liked Genya. But I can see it being Snow because of her SYTYCD fan base. I am a bit tired of the show pulling from SYTYCD. Genya, IMO, is the more talented of the Mazo brothers. Same here. Pasha, I would not have objections.

LT looked so happy and ready to leave. It was like Springer, Billy and Clyde's exits.

Team tango and mambo for next week. I like the team dance concept but wish it was the same dance for both teams.

Loved all the dancing. One thing I have noticed about the singing is that the female singers are MUCH worse than the males. Whenever there's a song with a male lead it's miles better than the reverse. They really need to hire some new females.

Lacey and Dmitry were smoking. If Julianne wants to know what real sensuality during a dance is, she should study that, versus all that hair tossing and jumping in the air with Tony last week. I think that Lacey did some serious changing in her diet/exercise routine. I never thought she was out of shape last season, just bigger than some of the others. But this year she's looking really good. I think she could make dancing with a stick sexy.

I really didn't like the Degrosso sister (who the f* names their kid Afton?). I hope that she doesn't win. Despite being on SYTYCD, I don't care for Snow. Plus the show has too many blond women, even if Julianne doesn't come back. There's nothing special about Snow that is going to make her stand out. I'm not sure right now who I like to win it.

I enjoyed the pro competition. I probably liked Anna D. the best. It really was hard to fault any of the pros featured.

LT was the happiest loser I've seen on the show. That being said, I do think he enjoyed himself through some of the dancing. His comments to Edyta were heartfelt and warm. I'll miss the big guy, I had a soft spot for him.

Sam was wearing dowdy dress two, and it looked like she cut out a sleeve for some spice. Whoever costumed her this week needs a talking to.

I wonder if Ty or Chuck will go next? Maybe Chuck can only cut loose when wearing red, self-designed pajamas. Looks to me like Kim is a bit safer than those two, but it all comes down to the dancers' scores next week.

I loved the pro dance-off. Anna and Mayo were easily my favorites, but I admit that I admit that I'm biased towards standard and was biased towards Anna going in.

They were all fun to watch though. Just based on the little bit we saw though, I suspect that Afton's personality would grate on me if I were to watch an entire season with her on the show.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I loved her on SYTYCD and I loved her comeback now!She deserves it. I don't find her personality abbrasive at all. If any, charismatic I would say. She was just so competitive since it was a contest.I bet once she breaks it down as a teacher, she will do well. In fact, she is doing some coaching now isnt she?

Btw, am I the only one who loved Lacey & Dmitri's dance? Those two are HOT HOT HOT!

I really wanted to like Afton, since I love Ashly, but she was just a good dancer, but not really dynamic or personable like Ashly.

Does anyone know the reason why they aren't bringing back pros that people obviously adore (Louis, Fabian?). I think Ashly is pregnant, so it would make sense that she's not coming back.

I know they said that, but it also doesn't mean it wasn't the real bottom two either. They show just says it's not necessarily the bottom two. I was just speculating that this week I think it was legit. Last week no.

Re Snow, I can see why some people might not see her as favorably as those of us who remember her on SYTYCD. I think if I didn't already know her from there, I wouldn't have reacted so enthusiastically to her when I saw her on tonight's ep, even the little bit that I saw. Does anybody know where I can catch the intro video for Snow that I missed?

Re Lil Kim, what's this about the faces that she makes when she dances? I don't know if I really want to risk having my like for Kim and Derek get spoiled, but I'd like to know what's the criticism about her faces?

I loved Lacey and Dmitry's dance - they're gorgeous together. It looked a little clunky on my snowy tv, but on the net it looks fantastic (although, I'd rather Lacey was wearing something a little less grubby looking colour-wise).

I love Ms. Bedingfield's reaction to the dance too. Rather than look like a pixelated deer caught in the headlights because people weren't applauding her and her alone, she looked delighted and seemed to say "You were beautiful" to Lacey. I love when the music act is generous and delighted. I remember Queen Latifah doing that too and it's just soooo civilized. These people are making many multiples of the money that the pros who dance to their songs do, they can afford to be generous with their appreciation for the added beauty.

I don't know, I kind of wondered that too. The show already has a pretty sizable stable of pros to choose from. Some that I know people would really like to see back (Louis, Fabian), some that I wouldn't mind to see back (Inna, Ashly) and some that I love that they only use intermediately (Anna, Alec). The competition makes for a good results show but it seems a bit unnecessary.



I saw that and thought that it was really sweet. I wondered if they had flubbed the lift slightly, Derek had an "Uh oh" look on his face like he expected Cheryl to fall forward at any moment but everything looked okay to my unknowing eye.

Me too, Iskandar -- I loved Dmitry and Lacey's dance!! (I haven't been able to get on this board till just now.) Dmitry engages SO intensely with his partners and I think that's great. I was sure he must have something going on with Chelsie, esp. after someone blogged that she was sitting in his lap after the last show he was on, but he was much the same with Lacey. And she's always amazing too, as a performer. I'm gonna miss both of them the rest of this season.

I didn't really love any of the new pros but it usually takes me a while to warm to people. I guess Anna was my fave - they need a tall woman. Seems like they often have a 6'2"+ celeb with all the basketball/football players they bring on. Clyde Drexler needed her instead of Elena. I didn't like Mayo at all. He seemed a bit snobbish or something - and I agree with a poster upthread, Snow looks a bit rough. They pointed out that she smacked Genya in the face and he was bleeding! - but maybe her SYTYCD fanbase will pull her through. I liked her personality ok - she looks like she'd be fun.

Why is it necessary to have a pro competition? Seriously, why? Why can't Fabian come back? He was great. Who did he piss off? Why not Anna? She is brilliant! Couples wise, I liked the 2nd pair the most. It would be a nice change to have a pro that is not latin based necessarily. I thought the girl was especially good. Very graceful and tall. We could use a tall female pro.

Hated the Natasha Bedingfield number. Not a fan of her (she can't sing) and Dmitry and Lacey were doing my head in. Lacey is the worst over-actor. Yeesh. Reign it in.

Oh, what fresh hell is this? Celtic Woman doing Josh Groban. Truly, truly that is up there with my own personal vision of hell. Set it in a mall that I can't escape from and we're set. Utter nightmare.

Not sure I understand who or what Celtic Woman is supposed to be, but the Show Dance champs were amazing. At first I was thrown by their size difference, then those incredible lifts started and I understood completely. It's pairs skating on a ballroom floor.

Love the pro dance competition. Gave all my votes to Mayo and Anna. Like someone else noted, there's already a rack of Latin dancers in the stable. I hope the winner is someone who can really REALLY represent ballroom. I wouldn't mind either winning. Plus, as said earlier, it wouldn't hurt DWTS to have a couple of taller pros available.

Dude, Mayo was amazing -- freakishly long arms, he looked like a cartoon of a 20s gentleman. First guy on the show I would want to dance with. How cool -- and different. (I still miss Fabian. But if for whatever reason he can't come back...)

Maks says he's 6'1" but I think he looked an inch or so shorter than Dmitry when they were in that dance-off together, standing in the red light of shame in the middle of the dancefloor with the camera circling them - sheesh. I wonder if public outcry/disgust got that thing canceled? Actually, I think they'll use it whenever they need to "manage" something - they drive me insane with the mind games. And I hope they're setting up a "shock" elimination - and it's Yuckianne! (I'm cool with it being snarly mouth Lil Kim too - though I think I'd forgive all if she'd start closing her damned mouth when she's dancing)

Still want the tall female though. And I definitely hope and pray we get a break from Julianne, who's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me lately. I wouldn't mind Edyta having a little break as well.

This is the first week in a looooooong time where I've actually enjoyed both the performance and the results shows. It's a strange feeling.

How is it that I've never heard of Burn the Floor until tonight? I must attend one of their shows. (The blond guy in the suspenders is yum. If I had known how many gorgeous people were in the ballroom dancing world, I would have begged my parents to put me in lessons when I was a kid.)

The pro competition was whatever. Genya is strange looking, Snow comes off real bitchy, and Mayo looks like a stiff breeze will knock him over. Why have all these people compete when we have FABIAN??? Ugh.

ETA: Did the showdance couple who performed with Celtic Woman perform on DWTS before?

All the DelGrosso girls have "A" names. I THINK Afton's the second-to-youngest. I think. I lost track of which name went where.

I also realized halfway through Genya and Snow's dance that I remember him from when he danced with his youth partner. Damn.

My vote in the pro competition is so totally for Mayo and Anna; echoing everyone who is on the YAY STANDARD train. Good standard dancer? Do want.

LOVED the show dancers. The best part was how everything just flowed so beautifully together. It never looked like they were just throwing lifts in between dance segments. Mm. Lovely.

I liked Anna but the rest of the pro dance competitor's seemed weak when compared to Chelsie and Dmitry (the new dancers this year). I didn't like Snow's personality since SYTYCD. I think Ashley's a cute dancer but her sister was dull beyond words. I don't know what kind of choreographers or teachers these dancers are and to me that is a huge issue to think about because the winner has a guaranteed spot on next season's show.

I don't understand why people are against the SYTYCD hires. Only Lacey had a questionable ballroom background and she's dynamite in the pro dance numbers and is a fun dancer as her star's partner though she does still have ballroom technique issues.

I'm glad LT left. Hope Chuck leaves next. I love Chelsie and Ty but if they go next I won't be too upset.

I wasn't all that impressed by Afton or by Alec's brother. He just did a lot of posing and hip-swinging, although he did well covering up for being hit in the face.

I know Snow had a strong personality on SYTYCD, but she seemed more subdued here. I don't know if she has any chance, since she's not related to anyone.

Did Mayo remind any of you international watchers of Anton from SCD? A more subdued Anton.

Maybe if everyone prays hard enough, the DWTS gods will hear. I'm so sick of Julianne—and as much as I didn't want SYTYCD people coming into this show, I'm so glad they did. Chelsie, Dmitry and Lacey are fantastic additions.

Speaking of, I loved her last season with Lance, but this year, I have the biggest girl crush on Lacey. As shallow as this sounds, she looks so much better with brown hair than the jet black. It does a lot for her.

I hope Mayo and Anna make it through. After not seeing it for a few seasons, I adore seeing the Waltz, and I thought theirs was absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't mind seeing either of them in the cast next season. The first couple bored me. I'm hoping they're axed next week.

Here's to hoping Ty gets the Tango in the Group Dance, but once Chelsie opened her mouth and said she'd like to get that one, I'm sure the producers scrambled to make sure they get the mambo instead. I really want Ty to stay over Kim and Chuck, but God knows the producers love the Houghs. Ugh. I'm just so sick of them both. Completely.

For me, the "freakish" part outweighed everything else. I kept thinking of one of those bendy toys with the long, skinny arms and legs. He just looks, well, freakish. It was seriously creeping me out, that and his skull-like face, and I really don't want to see him on a regular basis. Thought Genya was weird looking, too, like Alec standing in front of a warped mirror, or something.

I wish LT had gone home last week and Steve-O this week, he and Lacey would have been more fun in the group dance. Oh, well. I'm pretty sure my boy Ty isn't lasting past next week, unless the fans can pull him past Chuck. Hey, where was the wig, Chuck? After Bruno's crack, did you decide it wasn't manly enough for you?

There was something not right there. For LT they said 15,000 calories a week? That's not very much. ~2100 per day is less than I would expect someone of LT's size to burn just standing there. It's less than my daily allotment and I am definitely smaller than LT. On the other hand, 15,000 a day would be way too much, so that can't have been it. I bet his was actually something more like 25,000 a week.
