As usual, Piers said exactly what I was thinking. Especially regarding Jesse's failure to raise funds. After that, and his lack of a marketing campaign, I'm no longer rooting for him.
This leaves all my support for Annie, who rocks! So glad Hellmuth didn't sell her out.

Ha, Piers stirs it up from the start.
Ya know, if Ass-Orama and Annie were drowning, I'd throw the lifevest to Ass-Orama. And throw just one, no matter how many lifevests I had. A ruthless, lyin, cheatin' stealin' suckupin' 2-face-in' soul-sellin' famous whore is still a whore. Sorry, the AIG mentality doesn't impress me, even under the thin fig leaf of "But it's for charity."
Great first boardroom catfight, good theater. Poor Herschel is just a little slow, though.
Hitler? No. Mussolini? Ann-olini! (Turkey meatballs & pasta is an Italian dish, say no more!)
Joe Kernan looked sooooo embarrassed to be there.
"Front, back, side to side,
Front front, back back, side to side..."

Poor Natalie. Joan should have given her some direction.
Love Herschel but he's as stubborn as Clint and why he thought Clint was to blame is a mystery. And since the Schwan's guys liked both dishes but not the one dessert and not the marketing campaign - how the hell did Annie's team win anyway? Isn't marketing more important than dessert?

The food thing was a cool task. I'm pleasantly surprised that the frozen food guys said "enough with the chicken breasts already" since I feel the same way when I go to grab something frozen. Nothing wrong with chicken but I eat so much of it already I feel like I might grow a beak sometimes. Missed most of that challenge due to weather bulletins here, dammit.
Have to give Melissa props for telling her mom not to come in and fan the flames. Still not a fan of hers, but it did demonstrate some awareness.

Joan: shut up. Don't go on TV after this, don't go on the second attempt at I'M A CELEBERTY, GET ME OUT OF HERE. So Annie's like Hitler because her not attacking Brandi in a boardroom is stabbing your daughter in the back (dispite not saying anything bad about her)?. Your crying during boardrooms reeks of showboating. Being sad that someone is fired does not make up for your other actions.
Rivers' Hellspawn: Shut up. Don't go on TV after this. Don't go make a second attempt at going on the American version of I'M A CELEBERTY, GET ME OUT OF HERE. Pierce said your mummy didn't do something well, get over it. She's 76, she can stick up for herself. If you think she went too far with Annie, don't just tell Annie, tell the bitch that gave birth to you.
Joan: You were PM, you don't stand and watch Clint struggle in the aution and say "should we help him?" out loud. You're the PM, you decide.
Rivers' Hellspawn: In a charity auction, if you sell all your items, you raise more money. When someone is told that, it's not an attack.
Also, because of that your team won and you lived to annoy America for another hour.
Pierce: I have to thank you for telling Jessie that he's married to Sandra Bullock who knows people.
Jessie: When you're dealing with charity, getting your wife to help is not mixing business with pleasure, it is pleasure to give to charity.
Joan: This is a game. Annie knows it's a game. She's playing a game
How can Annie think Melissa has that kind of power over Joan?
I think it's because they're so close, Annie thought that The Rivers' Hellspawn could at least try to act as peacemaker.

What a bullshit show this has become. And any Jew who refers to someone as Hitler in a fcuking game show is the scum of the earth. Joan, STFU. Everything you see in Annie that you hate is simply a reflection of your own selfish, obnoxious, had-been soul.
I would hate to work for Trump because he is totally inconsistent. When Tionne stood by Bitchlissa, she was summarily fired for doing so, but Bitchlissa crosses team lines several times in one board room to stand up for her mother, and Trump respects that.
Joan should have been fired for making Natalie pick the jewelry, supposedly Joan's forte, for putting that stiff Clint up as the auctioneer, and for bringing in little to no money. What did she do to warrent her staying? Nothing.
The only reason Herschel went over Clint is because Trump's playing to keep his "stars". Clint Black is the biggest name in country music? On what planet?

I'm with the "Annie for the win" team. Joan is increasingly showing she just hates other women, Annie his like Hitler, and did she say Brande was a dumb blonde in the preview?
What in the world will Melissa do when her mother dies? She has no independent life apparently.
The 2 best parts were Annie winning more money than any other celebrity apprentice (Piers looked stricken when Trump announced this year they were way ahead of last year) and Ivanka saying if she got "thrown under the bus" her father would be disappointed she was in the way of the bus.
Piers was on target with his comments. Jesse not raising money is ridiculous (and he lied about it in the board room since he said he was waiting on his money people), and calling out Melissa on supporting the other team.
Am I nuts or did one of Annie's people bid that $12k on the first Kotu piece of jewelry?
I'm wondering how many of their celebrity friends have been asked and simply choose to stay far far away from this steaming pile of crap of a show (that I still watch) and Trump.
I wonder about that, because as we've seen the people mostly don't need to even show up, or have their names mentioned (have we known any of Herschel's contacts?). I think the difference is getting the commitments in advance. It certainly looks like Annie Duke gave serious thought in advance of the show to who could give her what. And probably asked people in advance to commit to helping her out if she called. Brande also seemed to have done this in advance, if we recall her comments during the cupcake challenge.
On the other hand, the Rivers' can't get money from people (love that Melissa acted like she and Mom were a team looking for money from Mom's friends.). Joan managed to get things comped, but has she raised actual cash? Speaks volumes about who is really a nice person.

ITA. She didn't assign any task well, or jump in to fix anything until late but she was not fired. Any other person in the PM role, and the PM would have been fired.
And then this. Annie gives full credit, and praises Melissa for the jewelry picks, and Joan call her Hitler. Wha?????? I don't get it. What do the Rivers' have against Brande and therefore Annie for being nice to her (or being "besties" depending on your mental age)?

Agreed, I thought it was suspicous. It occurred to me that maybe the reason Annie is able to pull all these people to donate is because all of her friends are rich famewhores who aren't actually famous at all, and will therefore leap at the opportunity to be on TV in any form.

Totally! Joan goes to the extreme everytime to accuse and attack someone. Every filthy thing she calls the other celebs on this reality game show Joan has in abundance. And, since when is she bestest friends with Clint?
For the Jewelry Auction Challenge, every task in that challenge was tailor made for Joan. Picking out jewelry, choosing models, working the crowd at the auction, bringing in donors. YET, what does she actually do. She dictates everyone else for those tasks and takes NONE OF THEM for herself which is ALL of her strengths. I'm glad Trump called Joan out on it. She should have either picked out the jewelry and/or been the auctioneer. Clint was totally lost in that position. Joan put him in that task as PM and it totally embarrassed Ivanka that the 1st item didn't sell at all. Fuck YOU, Joan!
Joan should have been sent home, but it's GOT to be in her contract that Trump won't fire her yet. Firing Natalie for picking out too small jewelry is ridiculous and even slaps Ivanka in the face for having such unworthy pieces. He didn't just use the excuse that she didn't bring in money.
Next project, Joan should have been the one sent home AGAIN. What did she really do for this task? Herschel and Clint came up with the chicken, made the chicken which tasted good, came up with a bad dessert though, Clint did the marketing which beat Athena as lame as it was, but all Joan did was announce what the dishes were to the clients. WTF? At least Herschel and Clint did something. Didn't cause them to win but Joan did nothing. Trump didn't even bring that out in the boardroom. Because... he didn't care. He was going to keep her no matter what.
Piers. I get that he was there to fill-in for Donald Jr. and George. He was a promo-tease and that's about it. He DID point out that Melissa was siding with Joan and they're on different teams. HA!
I'm now hoping Annie wins this show. I'm glad that Phil Helmuth called her and spoiled Kotu's plan. As if the poker players weren't going to stick together on this one. She did extremely well during that challenge and even did well in the kitchen.
Joan and Melissa can take their fake faces, mean girl attitude and leave. What assholes. Joan and Melissa both saying "I'll walk if the other one goes" said with an I-smell-limburger expression. I don't care anymore about their threats. Now I want to see it. Both of them are bitches.

Exactly, then Joan went on a tirade about how terrible Annie was, comparing her to Hitler, for....what? Not sticking up for her daughter? Just a few weeks ago, Joan hated Clint (as Trump and many of you have pointed out) and now she's crying at the idea of him being fired? Who's the two-faced liar now, Joan?
And I love Ivanka Trump, I find her intelligent, well-spoken, calm, and able to get to the point quickly and efficiently. I like that she hasn't gone the direction of other heiresses like Paris Hilton and earned money just because her father is rich. I also agree than not selling her jewellery would make her look bad. But wow, that was some seriously ugly jewellery. Honsetly, I wouldn't pay $5.00 for any of that, let alone 80 grand.

Apr 19, 2009 @ 10:55 pm
That was appalling the way Joan Rivers again launched all those over-the-top, completely baseless, ad hominem attacks against Annie, while Annie was trying to explain a business decision rationally and objectively. Going so far as to call Annie "Hitler," especially since Joan Rivers herself is Jewish, as some of you pointed out, was just too much and both tasteless and stupid. For all the times that Joan Rivers has called someone on this show a snake, the real snake in all this is Joan Rivers, spewing all that venom, first at Clint, and now at Annie. And for all the times that she calls Annie two-faced, it seems she is the real two-faced one, by her own definition, for calling Clint a snake and whatever else she called him, then doing a 180 and calling him a wonderful man or whatever it was she said in today's show.
What a nasty, childish harridan Joan Rivers is. And as Annie pointed out later, every negative thing Joan Rivers said about Annie in the boardroom was actually true about Joan Rivers, not Annie. I just wish when they were still in the boardroom, instead of unthinkingly laughing at Joan Rivers, that Trump et al. had let Annie point out the irony and hypocrisy of Joan Rivers' personal attacks on Annie, not just in a later private interview. And also that Annie had had a chance to finish explaining about Brande while still in the boardroom.
Earlier in the season, I felt bad, still feel bad, for Clint repeatedly getting raked over the coals by his teammates and especially by Joan, and seemingly getting little to no support from anyone. And since last week, I've been feeling bad for Annie. But I don't feel too bad because they both seem to be very strong people, with a lot of love and support in their lives, who can take all the ugliness coming at them from Joan Rivers. Annie, especially, took Joan Rivers' attacks this week like a total champ. Melissa has been coming across really ugly too in all this.
I used to (a) think Joan Rivers was funny and (b) feel bad for Joan Rivers having botched plastic surgery that messed up her face. But (a) I no longer think she's funny, having seen where all that comes from, which is a real place of her ugliness inside of her, and (b) I see now that her outside actually matches her inside, all messed up and ugly. I'm sorry if I ever put any money in her pockets by supporting or laughing at her comedy, and I no longer feel any sympathy for her. When Annie said Joan Rivers is dead to her, I said the same thing to myself: Joan Rivers is dead to me, and I will never laugh at her or do anything that might help put money in her pockets again.
And when Donald Trump said Joan Rivers has a big heart, I just thought, yeh, right, big heart that's only full of herself, her daughter, and a whole lot of nastiness. She's got a BIG heart of ugliness, a YUGE heart of ugliness.
Enjoyed seeing Piers Morgan back on the show, expressing some good points in boardroom, especially about Jesse not fundraising more and about Melissa's team disloyalty and unnecessary personal criticisms of her own team leader. I can't remember if Piers and Omarosa's ugliness was as ugly as this stuff between Joan and Annie. I do remember it was quite bad.
Joan Rivers should have been fired for not giving Natalie more instruction about picking the right jewelry for an auction display situation and for not taking charge of the auctioneering given her stand-up comedy and hosting background. She was a terrible project manager. I'm looking forward now to Joan Rivers being booted soon, hopefully.

As bad as any Hitler comparison would be, the way Joan brought it up was completely asinine. Trump said something like Annie seems nice enough, and Joan said, "So did Hitler, at Buchenwald." No Joan, Hitler didn't ever seem nice, particularly in connection to death camps!

That's the whole problem with this season; Joan and Melissa both seem to be getting worthy criticisms that never lead to potential firings. Conversely; other people get fired for reasons as asinine as “you left the show last week because you legally HAD TO so you’re fired” and “I was about to fire Melissa though you volunteered to stick up for her, screw you, you’re FIRED too.”
What I fear most of all this season is that Donald is aiming for the most clichéd possible finale, where Melissa and Joan are told to feign some sort of mother daughter animosity of some sort, Don feigns disrespect for Melissa, and then surprise surprise surprise they are the final two!...and what’s even worse ---huzzah!--- right out from the deepest darkest recess of her backside, Melissa pulls a win is crowned the second celebrity apprentice having “deftly” beaten her mom “fair and square.”
If Donald wants me to buy that sort of ending to this season, I’ve not only lost all respect for him: I refuse to ever respect him ever again, under any circumstances. It’s the sort of contrived “What do you take me for?” ending that makes Tom Green’s career look Oscar worthy. Unfortunately it is the ending that seems to be happening here.

I still crack up whenever I see talk show appearances on YouTube, but Joan is not coming across well on this show. I'm really hoping for a reunion show where she can redeem herself. On Annie Duke's blog, she is careful to not make personal attacks and even praise people she might not be crazy about (even Joan at some points) when they have performed well. Everything is personal for Joan. I wonder how things would have been if Joan would have ended up with Annie and Brande and Melissa would have been switched to Kotu.
They should just change the "You're fired" to "You don't cause enough conflict to make good television". The recent eliminations of Tionne, Khloe, Natalie and Herschel have had little to do with performance and simply because their personalities are too laid-back for reality television.

I LOVED that Annie spoke up and said that although Joan and Melissa both spew hatred at her, Annie's friends and colleagues showed up at the auction and really pulled through for her. If Annie's such a terrible, horrible person then why would so many people stand by her with their money? Joan and Melissa haven't brought in much money at all.
I'm sad that Herschel got sent home. It was his time, but I really like him as a person. He lost on this show, but he's far from being a loser in life.

For a charity auction, $20K is a drop in the bucket. In that crowd, it could have been a Cracker Jack ring and gone for that figure. If Joan was the auctioneer, she'd have started with at least that amount, too. Those earrings should have brought in at least $35 grand for charity. I'd really like to know what the actual cost of those earrings were though. IIRC they were crystal quartz set in sterling silver. It's not like that costs much.

Yeah, Jesse pretty much narrowly missed being fired on both of those tasks. The only thing that saved him was that he was on the winning team both times. So much, so bad, so much...Hitler? Asian Orange? but two things take the cake:
On the issue of Miss Ivanka's jewelry..
So first we hear from Piers and Trump that its all about the money, then we hear that its not all about the money, its about the money AND respecting poor little Miss Ivanka, even if that means bringing in less money for the charity. Hey Ivanka, nobody wants to actually buy your crap!
"Don't you think you disrespected Ivanka?" The only answer to that question would be: "What, pray tell, has Ivanka ever done in her life to earn my respect?" Fronting a jewelry company (that, like every single Trump project is bankrolled by someone else) that trades off the Trump name, and that will be out of business in 5 years does not entitle you to any respect. Somewhere in North Jersey there must be a warehouse of all the Trump products that never sold, Trump Steaks! Trump Magazine! Trump Suits! the Trump Visa Card! Trump University! The Trump Hotel in Vegas that is now the darling of Priceline! the USFL (featuring Herschel Walker)!
Incredible isn't it that Ivanka didn't actually donate her jewelry for the cause.
Then we move on to Schwans. Darling of the rural South and Midwest, now going highbrow with Trump and some diet meals. According to "Mr." Trump (and you knew Natalie was gone when she called him Donald in an interview), due to the recession, people have to cut back, so rather than going to the grocery store and buying fresh healthy ingredients, we should all buy expensive processed crap from Schwans, then pay to have it delivered! By the way, good to know that "gluten-free is hot right now!"
By the way, what does it say about the typical Schwans customer if the process of combining nuts, berries and yogurt is too complicated for a desert?
Next week, Jim Cramer! What's on the note Trump gives him? Maybe it says "thanks for the horrible financial advice and total lack of understanding of the financial markets, Jim, I would have done better with Madoff." or perhaps "when I signed on for this, I didn't know I would have to pimp my daughter's jewelry company AND CNBC. I wonder if CBS is looking to fill 2 hours a week."

Yea, the insults were flying against Jesse tonight. It looks like Trump is sulking big time because Jesse wouldn't get his rich friends involved to buy his daughter's jewelry. I agree that Jesse was lucky he was on the winning team tonight, I have a feeling Trump would have taken great pleasure in firing him.

Hee. I had pretty much the same reaction.
I thought Ivanka's comment about the team making her look bad was perfectly appropriate. In that task, she was the customer they were working for. In real life, the team would have lost the account.
I have to agree that Herschel's firing was the right decision but I was sorry to see him go. You don't see too many professional football players who are gentlemen.
I adore Piers Morgan. He may be arrogant but he knows it and plays it up so it's actually amusing. And he's almost always right.

I wonder if there's something in Jesse's contract that says you're not allowed to mention Sandra Bullock's name.

Well. Jesse's turn as PM was distinctly underwhelming. What, you forgot the marketing campaign part of the task? Or just didn't have the time or manpower, since you sent 75% of your team home for the night, and hoped the Schwan's execs wouldn't notice? Either way...
I did enjoy his not falling for Piers' attempts to engage him in a battle of words. That? Was sweet.
On the jewelry task BR, Ivanka said she was asked to "contribute" pieces of her jewelry for the charity auction. But the impression was given last week that the teams had to buy the pieces, then the profit they made over that at the auction would determine which team won, isn't that correct? If so, I hardly think selling your jewelry constitutes contributing to a charity function, Ivanka.
Oh, Annie. Annie, Annie, Annie... Being able to give money to charities might be a nice extra feature to this game, but I don't believe for a second that that's why you're playing.
ETA: Since KOTU is down to two players, and Athena still has four, I'm guessing that one of them will go over to KOTU next week. Should be interesting to see how that sorts out! If KOTU gets to pick, I can see them only going for either Melissa or Jesse. I feel for Clint if they get Melissa and KOTU loses. I suspect TPTB will want to keep the Rivers' on separate teams, for better television, and contrive that somehow.

My goodness. Such language. Joan, is that you?
edited to add...remember the days, when this show was good? I used to have to read through pages and pages of posts after an episode aired. Now there are three. How soon will it be before the network says, "Trump, you're fired.:

Jesse is the one sent over to Joan and Clint's team. At least on our West Coast Version, they didn't zoom in fast enough on the Trump side of the boardroom so we could tell it was Jesse on their side.
I think Joan is 5 or something, with the fingers in her ears and all the nonsense.

and Ivanka saying if she got "thrown under the bus" her father would be disappointed she was in the way of the bus.
I loved that. And what the hell is Joan Rivers going to say to that, no matter how much her Mama Bear instincts have been on overdrive? What I liked, too, was that when Piers and Ivanka were over talking to Athena, Melissa basically said a variation on that same thing, that she thought her mother would expect her to not allow herself to get tossed under the bus. So, really, Joan, stand back and let your adult daughter do something on her own. Honestly.
I was trying to see who was sitting at the table with Joan and Clint next week but couldn't tell. Did anyone see?
I'd be stunned if it's not Annie. I think Trump probably can't resist the chance to toss Annie and Joan together and force them to work with each other while still keeping Joan and Melissa apart. I think he almost can't let the team choose who they're taking, because it would be so blatantly unfair to Clint. He'd get steamrolled by Joan to choose Melissa, and if he fought her on it, there'd be hell to pay for the rest of the season for refusing, if he agreed, the next time they lost, he'd get tag teamed in the boardroom, regardless of how he performed.
What was the deal with the teams having to buy Ivanka's jewelry? It's supposed to be about raising money for charity,Trumps, you're using a primetime show for free advertising, couldn't you have at least donated the stupid jewelry? Like, say, the bridal gown company did?
Yeah, I didn't get all that, especially with the whole Ivanka feeling put out that they didn't sell one piece. She acted as if she had donated the items, but then it sounded like the teams had to buy them. I wonder if the teams didn't have to buy them, necessarily, but the "profit" their earnings were based on was what they sold each piece for over the cost? It was a weird conversation in the boardroom there. That's the only thing I can think of that makes sense--if Ivanka did donate the jewelry, but the teams were evaluated based on how much they sold each piece over the cost.
Joan almost appeared to be setting her team up for failure on the jewelry auction. She sent Natalie to select the pieces without giving her the necessary guidelines like "hey, make sure you get large pieces that will stand out to everyone in the crowd." She had the guys select the models with seemingly no real direction in choosing them or directing them in how to perform on the day of the show. And she seemed for quite a while like she was going to leave Clint out there to hang himself before she finally went out there to join in, and then it was only after he repeatedly stated that the model displaying the ring was modeling earrings (after they threw him a curve and sent out the models in a different order to shake up the crowd with a bigger piece). When she came out and they worked together, things went great. Joan declined to work in any of the three areas that all fall under her areas of expertise--selecting the jewelry, selecting the models to show off that jewelry (both tasks are things she has experience with selling her line on QVC), and getting up in front of the crowd and working the mic. And this came after she watched the boardroom where she felt the other team was trying to throw Melissa under the bus. Coincidence? Maybe she wanted to make sure her little girl wasn't going to be on the losing team to get tossed under the bus again? Because what did she do on the jewelry task as PM? And I know she can't do everything, but did she do any of the major portions of the task? When there are only four of you, you've got to step in there and do at least ONE of the major areas of the task.
I wonder if there's something in Jesse's contract that says you're not allowed to mention Sandra Bullock's name.
I get the impression Jesse is very clear in his "I did not marry my wife because she's famous" attitude. Just his tone and demeanor when he answered the "you're married to one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood, right?" (or however he worded it) question, made it clear that he doesn't look at his marriage in that way and he is not comfortable with people coming at him like that or trying to boil their relationship down to that. I also thought it was really insulting for Trump to sit there and go on about "why is she married to you?" like there's nothing he has to offer her. Of course, when you're dealing with a man who keeps marrying younger women because they're attracted to his money, I guess you can't expect any better, but still, that was demeaning and uncalled for. And I think Trump displayed exactly WHY Jesse doesn't like to trade on Sandra's name for his own benefit--because he doesn't want to be seen as Sandra's little kept man.
I know Joan's been acting like a nutty bitch lately, but was I the only one wondering what happened to good old fashioned gentlemen when Joan was scrambling across all those chairs to get out of the boardroom at the end of the episode? Guys, pull a freaking chair out for her, she's an elderly lady for crying out loud!

I have to agree that Herschel's firing was the right decision but I was sorry to see him go. You don't see too many professional football players who are gentlemen.
Even the receptionist loved Herschel! I was surprised that they showed her waving goodbye, and even left in his smile and wave back from the elevator.

Earlier in the season, I felt bad, still feel bad, for Clint repeatedly getting raked over the coals by his teammates and especially by Joan, and seemingly getting little to no support from anyone.
As Clint stated he made his points to Herschel about the poor choice of chicken and the frozen yogurt concoction, then losing this debate he actually did do his best to back Herschel and help the team win. Herschel lied in the boardroom trying to pin chicken loss on Clint and calling him "argumentative." I was so relieved he was the one sent packing because he really deserved to go. He argued and did not listen to reason. For the first time, Clint showed an emotion other than happy or resolved, he clenched his jaw in anger and outrage over Herschel's mendacity. The fact that Clint was able to smooth things over with venomous Joan who now "loves" him shows he's in fact conciliatory. Joan, if she were honest or honorable, should have spoken up for Clint.
The horrific Rivers' attacks against Annie are laughable coming from those two. I was kind of disappointed Annie did not consider the source and shrug it off because Joan is obviously demented ...and her daughter had better wake up and realize that and get a durable power of attorney over Joan before she goes off the deep, deep end and turns on Melissa leaving whatever legacy she has to her dog or Donald Trump.

Yeah that was Brande's sugar daddy that her and Annie were swooning $50 grand out of. Brande must not have made the competition aspect clear. I'm sure I saw yet another gentleman bidder from the previous teams auction make a play as well.
That would have been dramatic, if Brande's team had lost by less than that.
And shame on you Jesse. I kept thinking last week that he should have volunteered to be the PM for the first task, as it was a rolodex task, and used his contacts then instead of shying away from leading and holding his contacts. As it was he had the fear of the Trump put into him by Piers and jumped on the next PM job, even though it was only a $20,000 capped fund award. And so he may never get to use whatever contacts he has been keeping in his back pocket if he never gets to be PM again.

Joan should have been fired for making Natalie pick the jewelry, supposedly Joan's forte, for putting that stiff Clint up as the auctioneer, and for bringing in little to no money. What did she do to warrent her staying? Nothing.
Gotta agree. I've noticed this all talk the talk behavior for a while now. She had to be pushed into being PM. And then did not see how she had the best eyes for jewelery selection, and also had the best sales personality. ferfucksake she sells it on TV! In previous tasks she has remained mum about volunteering and then railed on later at how she's a writer, a producer and would have done a better job.
Herschel Herschel, Herschel.
A few too many knocks on the head on the field me thinks. And he and Clint would win the worlds longest staring contest, both are two of the most stubborn SOBs I've ever seen. But it was Herschel's baby so he decides... others follow. That's fine, what I don't like is his selective memory problems which revealed its ugly head with that tiff with Tom Green. He refused to listen to the cowboy about using chicken, and then goes off on how that conversation never happened.
SpencersMommy
I knew it was over for KOTU when I thought they'd named their chicken "Agent Orange Chicken".
LOL. Good point though. Close enough for the horrific comparison to be made! I'm surprised no one from Trump or the company caught that.
And Ivanka's jewelery isn't free to make or buy. I'm sure Ivanka herself did not mess up her perfect nails chipping an opal into shape. I think that initial cost ($6000 for that one piece) was what it cost Ivanka for the stones and metal and labor to create something she had a part in designing. So in effect it did cost her to donate them. I never got the impression that a team would have to actually buy the pieces first. That would mean that Joan's team would have had to fork out for the piece that they f'd up on selling.
And I don't even want to begin with Joan and her plastic spawn.
