Shampoona Ports
OK well I see so many commercials about "The hottest product in (insert Eurasian country here/Europe/Asia)" and I just wanted to start a thread about all of these "Foreign" products. I saw one for this shaver where you rub it over a part of your body and all of the hair goes away...

Like how the Shamwow is from Germany, you know the Germans always make good stuff.

Nads(hair-removal product)was supposedly developed in Australia.

Edited because I can spell "Australia." Really.

Just saw the "Ped egg" commercial. Apparently, it's an ancient Chinese practice use to cleanse and purify the bod. Riiight.

Shampoona Ports, I think you might be confusing the Ped Egg with Kinoki Foot Pads.

ETA Ped Egg link.

I love watching the ads in Spanish on TV while eating in taquerias. I saw an ad for some sort of Ancient Chinese Herb tea that will get rid of belly fat--I think.

Do they know what "nads" means in the U.S.?

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is that one for Sinecort (or whatever) where the freaky mom and daughter are lying on their backs saying "I love you"..."I love you more". Mom's love is superior because she gives her kid some medication that European women have been giving their children for years. I refuse to buy that product simply because zombie mom and zombie daughter give me the creeps.

I know it's not supposed to be funny, but that commercial totally reminds me of the Little Britain USA commercials with the Ellie Grace character. I'm waiting for the kid to say "I love you more than interracial gang bangs"!

Another funny thing they do with the products is have some British guy hawking them, especially on Infomercials.

But you can't talk about "foreign products" without mentioning Ginsu knives! They started the whole infomercial craze and I think they were the first to use the phrase "But wait, there's more" in a commercial. I found out that them shits are made in Ohio. So much for ancient Samurai secret!
