Isn't it time for a Snuggie thread?
Which of the Snuggie people do you identify with the most? I could have used a snuggie when my son was a baby. I could have held him like the lady in the commercial, using the snuggie to deflect all sorts of liquids and solids that came out of him. I also wish I was roasting marshmallows with the Snuggy cult family.

Personally I think there's a slasher movie in there somewhere.

How can you watch a Snuggie commercial and not think about Mel Brooks' History of the World, Part I?
Torquemada, expect no mercy, Torquemada, expect no forgiveness --- let's face it, you can't Torquemada anything!
You can tell that Mel's red robe was the Snuggie prototype.

Yeah, but he would have frozen while you were all nice and warm in your Snuggie!

So true!
I feel stupid, but isn't a snuggie just a really big, backwards bathrobe? Except made of plush, luxurious fleece?
Also, I heard unexpected talk about snuggies at my sister's Christmas party - I felt like a person in a room of pod people. Was I about to be snatched and fitted with a snuggie? And what color? Would I get the book light?
Realize that I am double posting but had a great idea - what kind of crossovers can you imagine? TV shows and movies + snuggies.
How about the Duggar family all tricked out in snuggies. Maybe it would keep baby #? from starting.
Or how about those cute conjoined twin girls - they could model a specially modified snuggy for two! (Honestly, I am not snarking on the girls - they seem like great kids).
The cast of Lord of the rings look sorta snuggie already...
Anymore?

Please don't start a thread to discuss one particular commercial. As a rule, you shouldn't start a new topic unless you can't find an existing one that fits, and there are certainly plenty of places where you can talk about the Snuggie ad. If people started threads to comment on every individual commercial we'd wind up with 5 million threads. Thanks.
