After seeing all the postings for the Top Ten list, I thought about some more 'competitive' comparisons among on daytime. A few soaps have a pattern of having male characters on canvas that fit a type/mold of maleness. For instance, Y&R has a greater count of metrosexual men, AMC has a mix of very rich and very working-class, AW (had) a combo of very masculine!, virile men, even the elder, weathly statemen (Mac, Lucas) w/o metrosexual leanings. My question is which soap had the BEST male character canvas. More importantly, which male character canvas could (overall) kick ass and ones you knew acted differently when their wives/girlfriends weren't around.
