Ok, apparently a show where you can watch people partying at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas. Sometimes there might be something else going on. I find it rather boring at times watching people drinking and dancing in the pool. I can do that in person when I go to Vegas. I didn't realize they were going to make a show about that. There was a bit of drama on the last episode. Two dumb broads wanting rapper, Ja Rule, to pay for their drinks because they didn't like the way the girls who were with Ja Rule's party were looking at them. Alrighty then.

Makes me miss the good season of American Casino. And yet, still I watch....

Yup, me too. Found it by accident one night when I couldn't sleep. Have caught it a few times since then. Makes me remember how big of ASSHOLES people can be after drinking and roasting in the sun all day. Seeing the show actually makes me NOT want to ever to the Hard Rock's pool party.

Thanks for the heads-up on this show. I saw it listed and wasn't clear on what it was. I was concerned that it might just be a bunch of rich kids and slebs acting cooler than thou. Or people acting out and ending up in jail. That all gets tiresome.


That's kind of how I pictured it. I need at least a little story line. (still waiting for another season of American Casino here too, Bethlynn)

TruTv is running all three episodes of Rehab tomorrow/Sunday starting at 3:00 in the afternoon. I'm not nuts about the changes truTv made to the CourtTv format. And this looks to be more of the same.

I miss Court TV.

This show has some moments but it gets tiring seeing people drinking, dancing in the pool and laying around in the cabanas. I like to see drama such as the couple who tried to get out of paying their $500 liquor bill.

Me too! Their shows seemed to be more professional and less about shock value.

And they used to not be so strict about what time they broke away from their daytime, in-court cases schedule. I'd get home from work and sometimes there would be something going on in California that CourtTv would show live. I watched a Manson hearing once and caught some other "this just in-breaking news" type cases. Now it's all forensics files type shows all the time. Or watching drunks be drunk. blech.

But I'll give Rehab a try. lol

Well said BadHat. I was shocked as hell when Court TV was changing its format. I don't understand why Tru TV is all about shock value as you stated. Rehab is the type of show that belongs on Bravo or E! I am not knocking the show, just merely disgusted with the route that Tru TV has taken. We can have Court TV and maybe some of this partying type show at night for us adults. LOL

Yeah, the couple that refused to pay their bill disgusted me. What idiot lowlifes!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves, although I'm sure they could care less. I couldn't believe the balls of the woman who ran over and canceled her cc so they couldn't run it! Not only would I have called Metro immediately, I would have tried to find a way to have them arrested. Don't know that theres any way to have them arrested, but I sure as hell woulda tried!!!

I find myself stuck in front of the television watching this show. Why? I have no idea. See bikini clad women dance for the camera! See drunk people vomit, pass out, and act ridiculously! See wait staff bitch about the amount of tips they get! Repeat!! The only thing I truly enjoy is seeing people spend absurd amounts of money on bottles of booze. Hey, do you want to spend $ 200 on a bottle of $ 35.00 Grey Goose or several thousand on a magnum of champagne that you will probably spill all over anyway! Sure!!!

It is a silly show with no storyline. Every episode is the same(someone pukes, skips the bill, get drunk or sneaks in illegally) and I still watch it. It's fun!

I went to rehab in the past summer and it is pretty much like the show portrais it. I remember Art, he is funny as hell, so I am happy that he got a little screentime in one of the episodes

They're running a marathon on TRUtv today. I love reality TV and now see why I missed this one. It is full of vapid, bubbleheaded, silly-coned airheads. I wonder if there is a second season??

New Season? Really? Could they have not just re-edited the first one and sell it as new? What will we see besides somd drunk girls, people want to sneak into the poolarea, someone bailing on it's bill and some sort of love connection?

I was glad to see that the blonde bartender who worked with Chantel last season is gone. She had such an attitude about her "hot" self - kept saying to myself - give it 5 years and 30 lbs sweetie - you'll be transferred to housekeeping, cleaning up puked in toilets.

Saw the episode last night in which the newly single guy finds out the chick he's hitting on is transgendered. So refreshing to hear the guy say he still wants to go out with her and not have a big, macho meltdown on camera with his buds. I didn't expect that!

I wonder what happened to Justin also. And did anyone else notice that Sharon, the Security Supervisor, had a facelift?

The macho guy with the transgender is such a set up I can't even stand it. The proof is, why would they choose to interview him and his muscle buddies while in line? There was nothing spectacular about them.

And then, are we to assume that someone that had a talking head and then starting making out with the transgender was pure coincidence? Come on now....

I would like to send a great big thank you to the producers of this show for providing me with the visual evidence I needed to convince my friend that when we go to Vegas, we do NOT need to attend any of these pool parties the hotels have (this one, the Wet Republic, Tao Pool, etc).

After ten minutes of watching the sunburnt hordes packed like sardines, and seeing the type of people who attend Rehab she turned to me and said, "we're not doing that." Sweet victory!!

Seriousy, it seems like every guy must have multiple tattoos, knee-length baggy trunks and something from Tapout about their person, and every girl had to have on an ugly bikini, ten pounds of fake hair, and a need to shake their ass for attention. Ugh. I looked for normal people in the background, but just saw more of the same.

Oh yeah! Macho guy had such a sweet and innocent look on his face like "Really? Transgendered?", I expected him to ride off into the sunset on My Pretty Pony.

You can find the "normal" poolside activities at another pool. Most of the Vegas hotels have one side of the pool area for these type of activities as shown on Rehab and then there is another pool area for those who just want to swim, tan, etc. More family-oriented without all the party-type atmosphere.

As for Rehab though, you must have a wristband to get in. The other pools, you don't need one.

Wow, I wasn't sure I'd like any pool manager less than I liked the one last year. I was wrong. Dude just needs to let his people do their jobs. Security lady was way more laid back than I would have been in her shoes.

I couldn't agree with everyone more about the new GM What a tool! He totally has a crush on that cocktail waitress.... and his management style is immature and stupid. The bar back should be fired... totally bad attitude.... I think Sharon looks great ... Love Julia..

I can't stand that jackass GM. He probably thinks he can treat people like that because Vegas has a 15% unemployment rate. This is a workplace that could really use some union organizing.

I was under the impression that most of the people who work at the casinos are in a union. The Culinary Workers Union, for example, has 60 or 70 thousand members in Las Vegas.

I heard wrong, right? He didn't really say "Any time you're working with 45 girls, all you do is babysit." Right? He didn't say that, did he?

I don't think she did. She lost weight, which can change the look of one's face, and dyed her hair a darker color. If she had a face-lift, she wouldn't have those deep lines around her mouth area still. I think her face just thinned out from losing weight but she looks great.

I can't stand that GM guy, Matt.

I couldn't believe my ears either but this is the same guy who talked about some "old" guy being hassled by a drunk dude accusing him of stealing $100 and the "old" guy looked to be about the GM, Matt's age (greying hair and receding hairline) and when he referred to him as five foot nothing and then they showed a wide shot where Matt appeared to be around the same height as this guy. Also loved it after he told the servers to hit the gym to lose weight and the one server told him that would be like telling him he had to be over 5'8". And when he kept stepping on to the security manager's job as well by chewing out one of their staff and making things more complicated by doing it over the radio. The Napoleonic complex does not make for a good manager.

Matt FOR SURE has a Napoleon complex and probably had issues with the ladies growing up but figured out one day that many girls like assholes and that's where his awful personality comes from. The people that work there don't respect him, they fear him and there's a big difference (I love A Bronx Tale). There's just no need to be that rude, some of the issues he has makes sense, but he could say them in a much better, less derogatory way. Especially the weight thing. I understand the waitresses work in bikinis all day, and i'm sure they sometimes get lazy after a long day of work and may not be in the shape they should be, but let's not induce any eating disorders here, sheesh! Everyone's body is different, and some people (Julia) will never be sticks. She could tone her tummy up a bit, but I'm sure she knows what's she's talking about when she said if she loses weight her boobs will get smaller. I'm sure there are plenty of guys that don't mind her body at all and everyone has different opinions of what's hot.

I also think Matt is sleeping with AT LEAST one of those waitresses if not multiple, just for an ego boost.

On the one hand, all of those girls knew when they were hired that they were being hired for their appearance, and that they would be expected to maintain that appearance. It's no surprise to them to hear that management has an eye out on the beauty standard and that they need to stay on top of that. On the other, the way Matt went about reminding them of this was incredibly rude and aggressive and demeaning.

I had a friend who cocktail waitressed in Vegas and she said that basically they would remind the servers in a calm, professional manner that they had agreed to maintain their appearance. Issues were handled by HR in private. It was much more professional than what they are showing on this show. She never felt demeaned; they were treated like adults and not wayward children.

I did watch this once, and will NOT do so again. The last thing anybody needs is glorifying drinking, and the way-past-overdue-to-die attitudes about women's bodies portrayed here. Jeez...what is Trutv thinking???

Why is it called "Rehab" if there's drinking?

TV Divaqueen, at the end of this week's crappy episode, they teased us with just that scenario! Be still my heart, I know they're toying with me, but I can hope that this ass will get his ass handed to him. I'd rather spend time with that obnoxious guy trying to poach waitresses ("if there's something wrong with your vagina, we'll get it fixed..." srsly???) than with Matt the Menace.

I wonder how many pairs of fake boobs there will be on that Rehab calendar? I'd guess 80 percent, at least.



Unless the standard for a server's appearance is clearly spelled out (i.e., hair must be at least 12 inches long, nails must be rainbow colored, pimples and other facial abrasions can be no larger than a dime, [insert other requirements here]) then the standard of beauty can change from manager to manager. And with a sawed-off dickhead like Matt, the standard can change from day to day, depending on his mood and how much height the server happens to have on him.

And that dude, Bruce, that came to recruit servers from the Rehab was just as underhanded, trifling, and insulting as Matt. While trying to recruit women Bruce told a couple of them to be quiet and to let him talk; I'm sure he'd be some sort of a dream to work for--a very bad dream.

My wife just started watching during the October 18th marathon.

I called staged in the first hour. Just too much drama and contrived tension and issues. Plus, all the 'drunk girls' still look TV perfect.

Not a chance this is real.

I agree with everyone about Matt. He is a tool with a Napoleon complex. Justin was a much better GM. I'm glad that he wasn't fired and just moved to San Diego. There is no way that Matt was a better choice. The way he talks to those girls is disgusting and I hope that he's no longer working there. He really wants to be part of security anyway. He can't stay out of their business to save his damn life.

And if he's going to talk about their appearance, his appearance should also be addressed. He's the GM at this pool that caters to "richest, most gorgeous clientele", then he should look like someone who works at that type of place. He's always in wrinkled cargo shorts and plaid shirts. He looks like he should be working in the kitchen.

I love Sharon but she should wear a uniform too if the other security guys have to do it. She doesn't look the part either.

Julia looks like Miley Cyrus' older sister and I can't get over that enough to care about anything she says. Her eye make-up does look a little weird sometimes though and her hair might look a little better if she wore it in a ponytail or something. Matt wasn't completely wrong with that, but he definitely could have said it in a nicer way or had one of the other ladies tell her. He seems to do things just to piss them off.

I didn't think the show was all that fake last season, but this season is full of fake, set up shit. Deebo getting kicked in the face just did not seem real to me. No one bothered to run in and try to help out with that guy or anything and I can't believe for a second that if that was a real incident that they wouldn't have had the entire security team out there.

That guy inviting him to sleep with his wife, the transvestite, the guy whose ex girl was a waitress who brings his new girlfriend to rehab and the ex has to wait on them and he flirts with her and tries to get her back in front of the new gf. Totally bullshit.

That said, I'll be watching this week because I want to see if Matt really does get his ass chewed out.

Okay, I'm suffering memory loss, is this show on Sunday nights? If so, I missed it and came here for updates.

I'm wondering how many different types of disease live at Rehab. First of all, there isn't enough chlorine in the world to make me want to go in that pool. And if you watch carefully, notice how the waitresses bring shots to the cabanas. They stick their fingers in the glasses to grab hold of them. Don't see much of hand sanitizing in the service area and I can only imagine, with the girls constantly pulling and tugging at their "uniforms" (especially at the bum area) what types of (blechh) germs are being passes through every round of shots. And no, alcohol doesn't sanitize. That's a myth that people who like to do luge shots believe to convince themselves that the ice luge is not one big igloo of germiness!!!
