The stars get arty when they must choose an artist, display his or her artwork, then sell the pieces in an art gallery. But spying becomes an issue, and one team paints itself into a corner when it struggles with sales. Trump's "eyes and ears": Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr.
Orion7
I feel dirty just for having watched that. Right now, the only ones I have any respect for are Trace, Carol and Lennox.
discoprincess
Insinuating that Piers was gay? That was a new low even for Omarosa. I'm surprised she didn't reprise her attacks on Piers as a lousy father.

I cracked up at the promo for an "Omarosa-free Apprentice" next week.

What was up with Omarosa's go-go dancer getup? That white belt overemphasized her over-enhanced breasts.

Ivanka seems level-headed.

ETA: Maybe Piers should have smooched Stephen instead. It figures that Trace wouldn't get the joke.
AwNutz
And THAT'S how you kill a cockaroach!
Cream Cheese
Ivanka seems level-headed.

I can't help but like her. Sure, she has a charmed life that was handed to her but she is no dummy.

As much as Piers drives me crazy, I like him. I like his wit and the venom.
Trace is a class-act.
Queszocoatl
Classic rebuttal by Piers. CLASSIC. Almost as good at Trace's reaction after the kiss.

Hail and farewell, Assorama. Now I see what I missed by not really watching the first season: Not. Much.

One thing bugs me, and I'm going to paraphrase Cousin Eddie in stating it: "Omarosa enters the boardroom, boots are white. Leaves the building, boots are black. I don't know." *shrugs*
telly
I have to say that it was very satisfying to see the humiliation served on Assorama. I was not impressed with her claims that Piers was "in the closet" and was using that as some sort of insult, which really shows how small a person she is. At least Piers played it off in a more mature way. I was concerned for a split second that he was going to hit her, but luckily he took the higher road.

It also seemed to me like Ivanka was having fun grilling Assorama and using her words against her. Perhaps I am biased but I don't think she grilled any other contestant quite as much... but then again Trump wasn't saying much negative about her so Ivanka had to do it for him.

I think Carol and Piers will be the final two. Baldwin's lucky he wasn't fired as well this week, and I think he will be gone next week.
WebRat
What the heck was up with Omarosa saying "PEACE" in that retardish fashion (hand gestures included) in the final cab ride?
For a second, she almost sounded mature and respectable in her final words.... then THAT.
NotTheBox
Very satisfying. Omarosa got her ass handed to her and she knew it. Loved to finally see her squirm. Baldwin just gets douchier and douchier. Piers is absolutely right, Baldwin is as snakey as he is but pretends he's above it all, and he's not.

I totally enjoyed watching Piers enjoy the boardroom. Loved when he left the boardroom for the first time asking "make it really nasty, will you?" I was a little worried when he went back in that he would say something and set Trump off to fire him.

I now love Ivanka because she gave good smackdown to Omarosa. That was great.

Also, it was hard to get a good look at the art that O's team had but it looked to me like things you could find prints of at a place like Garden Ridge for $20 or something. Cute but it didn't look like something you would spend thousands of dollars on. Piers' team had some interesting stuff - I liked that one that seemed to move you through it.
SwtSassyMolassy
Buh-bye, Assorama!

That was one satisfying episode.
tango7
I got excited when Piers got a commitment from Gordon Ramsay; was hoping he’d appear. But he sent a rep. Wonder how much he spent? Wouldn’t ya love to see Gordon vs. Omarosa?

Piers did a great job. It was a slaughter. I was afraid for a minute that Stephen might get the boot. Speaking of boots, those white go-go boots that O had on. . . Yuk. Thought she’d pit up more of a fight, or cry even (like she did in S1).

She’s gone!!!! :)
bogtrotter
I hate that Omarosa is probably good for ratings. In addition to her many other fine qualities, she appears to be a pathological liar.

Is Pugsley Trump on some kind of diet? He looks very thin, all of a sudden.

Oh, and p.s. -- Loved the huge smile on the face of the uniformed elevator operator as Omarosa entered it for her last ride. Heehee.
umrguy42
And the crowd goes wild! Hell, the best part is even NBC's getting in on it, with that promo at the end. Man, she was *crushed*, though.

I loved Piers heading back in - and more importantly, NOT STAYING and fighting with Assorama. (Boy, did Ivanka have his number about him wishing he was still there, didn't she?) Poor Trace... I can't wait to see next week's, see what his reaction is walking back into the room with everybody after the BR :) (Ahh, Ivanka, you should laugh like that more. It was great.)

Just to pile on, was Assorama wearing a belt, or a truss?

Hands up, who else was groaning at Steven's crap about his faith again, versus his very obvious hanging around Hydra's area? Poaching Steven's contacts... tough shit, buddy boy. You snooze, you lose.

Heh, speaking of DJ and Ivanka... am I crazy, or did they not look thrilled standing there whilst The Donald was showing off Baron?
Fellaway
Honestly? I'd rather it be "Piers Free."

As loathesome as others here have said they find Omarosa, I have to say I find Piers at least as much. For myself, I guess I've just come to the conclusion that Omarosa is playing the part she was paid to play, whereas Piers is just being who he really is. And, IMO, he's loathesome.

Anyway, I think I have to cry foul on this ep. Maybe it's just me, but long before Ivanka mentioned it, I was not only suprised at how lackluster Omarosa seemed at the gallery when they were on task, but particularly so in how she just seemed to lie down and die in the boardroom. Woman usually, at least, gives good boardroom. Anyone else besides me think this was the week designated from the get-go that Omarosa would be going home? Ah well, now she can get back in the time machine so she can return her go-go boots back to the '60's.

I'd be interested to know how much Lennox brought in in sales for his team, compared to the others. One of Piers' biggest failings in this game is his belief that the majority of folks in the USA not only know LL but are in thrall to him. LL couldn't even effectively siphon off newcomers into his team's side of the gallery. Methinks Carol would've not only been more recognizable to more folks but would've been more effective at countering Omarosa's funnelling maneuvers.

Did I mis-hear, or did Piers refer to their artist as a "he" when Trump asked them how they liked their artist?

Finally, if they ever have another CA, I truly do hope they institute a rule against using "contacts." I think it makes the game more boring and repetitive when they're allowed to do that. Plus, some celebs are cut off at the knees from the get-go in this regard. An even playing field, is all I'm sayin'.
discoprincess
I got excited when Piers got a commitment from Gordon Ramsay; was hoping he’d appear.

Too bad we didn't get to see him, but at least his signature potty mouth made a guest appearance. He's cool. :)
Orion7
I'm really tired of these tasks that aren't decided by any ability or talent other than calling a bunch of people up and twisting their arms to give money. Piers clearly has the contact list that has the most money, so why do we need to have the dog-and-pony show to figure that out?

That said, it was funny to see Lennox and Carol poach one of Stephen's contacts right out from under him.
athena23
Ah, that was far more delightful than it should have been. Piers' response to Omarosa's slander was brilliant. It could have only been improved upon had he brought his glass of champagne with him. And I confess to enjoying watching Lennox practically pee in his pants while watching it. Poor Trace. "Think about it, you'll get it later." Hee.

I'm gunning for Piers to take on -- and take out -- Stephen next. Then I'll be happy with the remaining contestants, really. I see Piers vs. Trace in the final, really. And yes, Piers can be a right royal ass, but he sure makes for some good tv. Unlike Omarosa, who just makes for nasty, controversial tv. IMO.

The "Omarosa-Free" ads were also quite excellent. An all-around golf clap for this episode.

BTW, regarding Omarosa's boardroom outfit, hubby and I are split. I said that she looked like Lt. Uhura, he said that she looked like a '60s era Vikings cheerleader. Any takers?
tone
Well Assorama was going to lose, of course. The art guy said to choose with your heart. Someone with a black heart has no business near the arts.
Piers clearly has the contact list that has the most money, so why do we need to have the dog-and-pony show to figure that out?
So they can tell me? Seriously, how does he have his list? As I understand it he's a tabloid editor, so wouldn't that make the celebrities loathe him, not like him and want to help him? It seems to be the reverse for Piers.
bbb
Ding dong, the bitch is gone. Let's hope her television "career" is over. (and if it's not, let's hope she gets a stylist, because those go-go boots were assy) I floved seeing Omarosa getting her comeuppance from Ivanka. It was like watching a cat batting around a not-quite dead mouse.

And Omarosa's little spiel about how "every man can teach you"...does that include homosexuals and doormen? Watching her prance through those glass doors with her nose in the air, and not even acknowledege the doorman made me want to smack her. Tito's little smile and nod last week showed more class than she can ever fake.

It's just too bad Gordon Ramsay couldn't actually show up.

Here's hoping that next week the Reverend Stevie B. is on the chopping block.
AdrienneP
I am loving some Piers Morgan. Anyone who can call Gordon Ramsey directly rocks in my book. And my little Jean-Baptiste came to represent GR and give his money, how adorable is that?

That was delicious fun! I'm glad Om got her ass kicked royally, and she had no defense. I don't mind the celebs calling contacts for money, that's really the whole purpose of this show, this celebrity edition anyway. They're not playing for a job, and what good is selling lemonade and making $500 to people who make tens of thousands every day. The inequity is in the different levels of celebrity and the contacts they have, that's not exactly fair. But it's the game, kids.

Oh, and I loved little Barron's baby comb-over. Like father, like son... :)
Fellaway
Heh, speaking of DJ and Ivanka... am I crazy, or did they not look thrilled standing there whilst The Donald was showing off Baron?

You are not alone. I felt a decided lack of warmth from Ivanka's/DT, Jr.s' side of the lineup in that scene. I don't think either one cracked even a hint of a smile at baby brother's "cuteness."
susanema
Tune in next week for Omarosa in Dean Martin's Golddiggers '08!

Where are Trump's other kids, Eric (w/Ivana) and Tiffany (w/Marla)?
MoreRidonkulous
The best part?

The promo for next week.

I feel dirty just for having watched that. Right now, the only ones I have any respect for are Trace, Carol and Lennox.

Even Trace had an "ick" moment there, with his wee bit of homophobia.

I got excited when Piers got a commitment from Gordon Ramsay; was hoping he’d appear.

I very much doubt his masters at FOX would allow him to.
Orion7
Heh, speaking of DJ and Ivanka... am I crazy, or did they not look thrilled standing there whilst The Donald was showing off Baron?

I thought the exact same thing. They did not seem to be enjoying the cuteness.
I loved Piers heading back in - and more importantly, NOT STAYING and fighting with Assorama.

I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't stay and go ballistic. Of course, he already knew he'd won.

I don't know who I was more disgusted with: Omarosa for saying that Piers was in the closet, or Trump and his entourage for not saying, "What the hell does that have to do with anything?" I know, I know, I'm expecting way too much out of Trump, but why did he allow her to go on and on?
Even Trace had an "ick" moment there, with his wee bit of homophobia.

I hope that wasn't what it was. It looked to me as if he was thinking that he was the butt of the joke. At any rate, he was not a happy camper. It was only a kiss on the cheek, for Pete's sake.
felicia1
I wasn't impressed with ANY of the art renderings except the one that "moved" - that was intriguing. MOST of the time, I think poor winners are as obnoxious as poor losers, but Piers was brilliant in his counterattack kiss for Trace. Poor Trace. I think he has been one of the best players this season.....he may have that "ah, shucks" accent, but he has one sharp mind and good ideas.
Steve is a blank. Carol has been MUCH better since she's playing with the boys. Lennox also is a lot smarter than you'd think.

Teaser ad says "someone" may be coming back next week.......don't tell me.......please........not Omarosa!!! Maybe Tritt -- he's the one that The Donald hated most to fire.

And YES - I also noticed how glum the older Trump kids were in the apartment....BOY, is young Baron a total clone of Donald or WHAT?????? REALLY, REALLY looks like his Daddy.
stonybrook
Slaughtered, humiliated, and gone. I'll happily take that with a side of fries, please. Bye Miss O. Get therapy.
SideShow Steve
So, Trump is still married to Melania, I thought he might have moved on to Season four's Rebecca by now.
And it was good to see Lennox get some practice for his future career as Las Vegas casino door greeter.
Orion7
The one thing I'll say for Omarosa is that she hung on for quite a while in a game where she started with the disadvantage of not really being a celebrity. There is no way she knows people with the kind of money that the others draw on.
Nutbucket
As loathesome as others here have said they find Omarosa, I have to say I find Piers at least as much. For myself, I guess I've just come to the conclusion that Omarosa is playing the part she was paid to play, whereas Piers is just being who he really is. And, IMO, he's loathesome.

ITA. I would have fired both their asses: Omarosa's for her performance, and Piers for his arrogance and obnoxious attitude. Carol, Trace and Lennox act like professionals. Piers just acts like an ass.

I'm really tired of these tasks that aren't decided by any ability or talent other than calling a bunch of people up and twisting their arms to give money.

Which is probably why I'll pass on the rest of the series. Who cares whose friends have the deepest pockets? It's boring. The advertising/marketing campaigns have been the only interesting projects because they demanded creativity and intelligence, not just knowing the right people.

So they can tell me? Seriously, how does he have his list? As I understand it he's a tabloid editor, so wouldn't that make the celebrities loathe him, not like him and want to help him? It seems to be the reverse for Piers.

It wouldn't surprise me if his contacts come more from his current gig as a judge on "America's Got Talent" rather than his days as the tabloid head.
Counse

Just had to chime in and say that I agree. Piers has gotten on my nerves at times but anyone who is 'in the know' enough with Gordon Fucking Ramsay must be a little cool himself. 'Cause I just can't see Ramsay wanting to hang with say. . .Omarosa or Stephen Baldwin you know?

I'm gonna put Piers as the one to beat in this thing. Look what he can do when he's determined.
pukka
Baby Trump was cute, but I hope he becomes a pot smoking Zen poet just to spite his old man.
felicia1
I'm new here, so this may have been mentioned before in the beginning, but I don't like Celebrity Apprentice as well as I did having regular up-and-coming-and-hungry "regular" people vying for a position on The Donald's staff. They're hungrier, they care more.

I know, I know -- working for charity is fine - but it's all fun and games and winning isn't all THAT important to the celebrities. In years past, there was a lot riding on winning and losing and I liked seeing all that young talent.

Am I alone in this?? I have read that next year will also be "celebrity" apprentices.
umrguy42
And Omarosa's little spiel about how "every man can teach you"...does that include homosexuals and doormen? Watching her prance through those glass doors with her nose in the air, and not even acknowledege the doorman made me want to smack her.

Heh, but it looked to me like after she walked onto the elevator, the elevator dude looked at the camera and smiled - either he's been instructed to do so, or it almost looked to me like he found something damned amusing about Assorama walking in. But maybe I'm just projecting my own happiness :)

Hmm... somebody coming back. Missed that amidst my cackling glee. Personally, I'd hope for Gene, Vinnie if you wanted some different TV, or hell, how about Tiffany (remember Tiffany? There's a song about Ti... no, wait. anyway) coming back for that second chance, plus some more eye candy for The Donald?

I'll grant Assorama (very limited) props for trying to overcome the task that got her canned the first go-round, but still. You have the prime real estate, The Flea's called in people... and you can only move 3 pieces for a couple grand each? I'm more surprised that SB (not that he wound up needing to) didn't call her on having him go from calling contacts to learning about the artist.
tone

You really think so? I knew he did that show, but I always considered AGT as American Idol's poor second cousin. Is AGT popular enough to overload his contact list?
redbirds
Heh, speaking of DJ and Ivanka... am I crazy, or did they not look thrilled standing there whilst The Donald was showing off Baron?
The more offspring the less inheritance.

And Piers is a male Omorsa. He was smug in his win which is never attractive. She was somewhat taken the beating but Piers was all smug and then Trump had to dig in.

I hope he goes down next week, because he is a weasel.
felicia1
"The more offspring the less inheritance"......GREAT answer!!! Loved it....and so true. And where IS Marla's little girl Tiffany in all this? At that awkward stage, I guess.....too young for the Boardroom, too old to be cute-sy.
troubleinmind
So they can tell me? Seriously, how does he have his list? As I understand it he's a tabloid editor, so wouldn't that make the celebrities loathe him, not like him and want to help him? It seems to be the reverse for Piers.

This is why I don't think he's hated like Omarosa is. I loved the way Gordon and he were joking around on the phone - I could just feel the good humor between them. My feeling is he can't be such a bad chap to have so many people willing to help him. I, myself, would help him if I had the bucks.

OTOH, Omarosa did suck in this project. Also, Stephen, the self-righteous, who was lurking around every corner of the other team, when someone actually scoops your contact up from under your nose, that really makes you look bad. I liked Piers' idea of Flea and Oma both going.

Baron saying "bizhness" or whatever was kind of disturbing, also the way he kind of had that condescending air and the mouth, hair and face of Dump - wow, did they actually clone him? Also, I agree with those who thought the other sibs weren't too impressed with little bro.

I like Team Hydra with Carol, Lennox and Piers. I thought Piers did a great job all around - not just with his contacts. And, they were very smart to use art that there was more than one of the piece to sell.

I thought it was kind of imbalanced though to have people walk into the front room of a gallery which is Empresario's while Hydra was in small rooms at the back...but, it didn't hurt them in the end.

Also, I want to thank Piers Morgan for giving me the best moment I've had watching the Apprentice ever. I was really worried that Oma was trying to piss him off to get him riled up and possibly fired, so I loved it when he came in calmly kissed Trace on the cheek and left. On the cheek, Trace. It's really not that awful. Boy did he look pissed!
Brilliant comeback by Piers and I actually loved seeing Ivanka and everyone crack the hell up when he did it.

Also, so glad to be rid of Omarosa. All in all, a pretty good episode. My mom watched and she never watches TA and she was cracking the hell up too at the end.
Nutbucket

It's hard to explain his contacts otherwise, though, now that I think of it, I do remember reading that he hosted a few celebrity news type shows in Britain. He could have made celebrity contacts there. I don't recall the article but I remember thinking, "wow, the dude sure is fascinated by celebrity".

Baby Trump was cute, but I hope he becomes a pot smoking Zen poet just to spite his old man.

.... and marries Rosie O'Donnell's daughter.
delhigirl
Sign me up for the pro-Piers love. He seems smart, and in my reality shows I like people who know their stuff, which is why project runway is so superior in every way to the Bachelor.

Piers is a good businessman and that makes him good on the Apprentice. I very much enjoyed the Brokeback rebuttal to Omarosa. By not descending to name calling, he showed her up perfectly.
AtlanticVamp
"In the closet," Omarosa? THAT'S your move? Hey dumbass, if you'd focused on how Stephen didn't bring in any cash, you probably would have gotten him booted instead.

But Trace didn't act much better. He had to have known it was a joke, considering what Omarosa said and knowing Piers would get to rebut. Don't be such a tightass. As for "Never kiss a cowboy"? You're a country singer, not a cowboy.

Good on Piers for his sense of humor, though.
jjj343
It was too bad we didn't see Gordon Ramsey, since I would love to hear what new nicknames he could invent for the Flea.

I am continuing to love Piers, since he has a great sense of humor and brains to back up his arrogance.
Babalooie
Maybe next week Piers will call up and hassle the "Hoff".
Hamburguesa
Piers Slaughtering Omarosa to the point that the boardroom was an execution was awesome.
Another thing I loved was Carol outlasting the three ladies who insinuated that she was useless/expendable/
Piers would have won this task with or without his contacts Omarosa set her prices way too low to begin with and none of her team even seemed into it.
pieweight
I'm certainly glad that I'm not the only one who has an intense dislike of Piers. He is a typically arrogant misogynistic, racialist English asshole and his lording it over everyone is driving me nuts. Who is he again? Are you sure he's not Ricky Gervais?

And I certainly hope that Trace has a private, very large-fisted chat with him about that buss on the cheek.

I fervently hope in the end that Trace wins.

Heh. Weren't they called the Ding-a-ling Girls? Anyway, I was thinking Hullabaloo or Shindig. (Note to anyone who watched those shows: it's way past our bedtime.)

Just to pile on, was Assorama wearing a belt, or a truss?

Beats the hell out of me. Did you see the sidebar interview where O had on low-cut black top/dress that was pushing her girls upwards and onwards? Blech.
umrguy42
Beats the hell out of me. Did you see the sidebar interview where O had on low-cut black top/dress that was pushing her girls upwards and onwards? Blech.

Oh, God, yes. She's worn that in several of those. (Or the same big one that they then cut up to stick in each episode, I dunno.) Still... not as bad as the go go boots, nor *nearly* as bad as that number slit damn near up to her waist the other week...
paulyb84
As soon as they showed Assorama reminding Trump that she was fired on the art gallery task in S1, I knew that she was going to be fired at the end of the episode. Also, nothing like watching her in her town car ride at the end, using the same line that she said in her taxicab ride in S1 about every man being her teacher.
albertjoseph
That was a bizarre episode, to me. They couldn't even concoct any suspense with the editing so it looks like they didn't even try.

And this is the second week in a row that Stephen Baldwin's contribution to the strategic planning was based on what he though Piers was going to do. Reactive planning is rarely a decent strategic approach.

I can't tell if Trace was more personally offended at Piers' kissing him on the cheek, or if he was concerned about how that move might affect his "reputation" with his fans. And I can't tell which concern is more repugnant. I can't stand country music but I'd taken a liking to Trace up to now. He lost points with me with that reaction. Even arch-homophobe Trump recognized that move for what it was.
Hamhock96
Beats the hell out of me. Did you see the sidebar interview where O had on low-cut black top/dress that was pushing her girls upwards and onwards? Blech.

It looked like some kind of S & M get-up. And those white boots, miniskirt and wide white belt! What was that? She looked absurd!

Didn't she mention a different charity in her taxicab ride than the one that she mentioned before?

But that was great TV!
Wolvesfan
I was watching hockey till just past 9:30 so only saw them in the boardroom and heard it was a slaughter of biblical proportions! How awesome to see that witch finally get hers! I have to say, though, she's fantastic when she's cornered. When she was in the boardroom she was fighting for her life and she kept turning it onto Stephen. When Trump asked her if 2 people should be fired, she knew that she had a really good chance of being one of them, so she shot that idea down. Then hauling out the "Piers is in the closet" garbage sealed the deal.

I really loved it when Piers came in and kissed Trace, then left. I thought it was going to be a shouting match with possible punches, but he was great.
