I'm not sure what you mean by that:
Celebrites who cowardly did nothing allowing the verbal assault to continue
What did you expect them to do, exactly? Carol and Lennox did what anyone sane would do in that situation - take one of them apart from each other. The others weren't even around.

Please take any discussion of the episode to the episode thread. Thanks.

I would gladly protest but I'm not sure how to word what I'd want to say. Does anyone have any ideas or is anyone willing to share the text of any correspondence they've sent?

Subject: Your advertising support for child abuse costs you my business
You are a sponsor of the Celebrity Apprentice. I wish to bring to your attention my disgust with a contestant on that reality television show notably Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.
During the last episode of that show, The Celebrity Apprentice, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth viscously attacked another contestant’s family making such comments, as “your children hate you”.
My outrage over this action and your ad sponsorship requires my need to let you know of my disgust with Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth and any one who supports her foul mouth and fouler manner. I cannot purchase products or services from any who were a party to this behavior. As a sponsor I must hold you responsible for putting this outrageous conduct on television. I will not use your products ever again for you are a corporation that condones child abuse!
You don’t attack children, ever
Sincerely

Telus has replied and are investigating "whether the TELUS
commercial you saw was purchased at a national broadcast network level or as a local insert in your city."
They added, "I can absolutely assure you that TELUS is one of the most active companies in Canada when it comes to protecting children whether it be on the Internet or in your local community - we sponsor hundreds of charities and activities that promote the health and well-being of children in our communities."
Pepsi provided the standard "Please be assured that your comments will be forwarded directly to our advertising and media buying departments. They work directly with the broadcast networks and their affiliates and I know they will appreciate hearing your thoughts."
Omavile's charity needs to update their website. According to Simple Green, "The charity in
question is not a part of any of my support, sponsorship, or partnership programs for the last 8 years." That's one way to avoid association with the disaster that is Omarosa.

I haven't seen the episode, but based on the letter template above, I don't see anything as severe as child abuse. The example used sounds far more like an attack on the contestant. Uncouth, crass, and beyond the usual level of douchebaggery, but I'm not sure I understand why this is bad enough to need a protest of some kind.

I think anyone who's watched Omarosa, this season or in Season 1, knows she's off her rocker. One cannot blame Crocs, for example, for a reality show contestant's mental illness. One can, however, blame Donald Trump as executive producer of the show for recasting her, knowing she will stoop as low as possible to "win". I don't see at all how her tirade could be considered "child abuse", based on what we saw.
My Glarkware "I got hit in the head with drywall...and now you're a racist" button is still one of the funniest things I own.

I'm going to protest Omarosa's continued existence thusly: on Thursday night I'll watch Lost, as always. Friday I'll read the weecap and find out if Omarosa was fired. If she was, I'll watch the CNBC rerun. If not, I'll repeat as needed each week.
Seriously, she was just vile Thursday. Donald and Burnett need to realize that keeping someone around for ratings only goes so far, and then you become Allison Grodner.

The reasons I am outraged at this show and willing to take action have been outlined in the episode thread.

Okay, this thread isn't for discussing whether or not Omarosa's actions were good or bad -- that's what the episode thread is for. Some posters expressed interesting in mounting a protest and I didn't want the logistical details to derail the episode thread (or the Omarosa thread) so I suggested making a new thread for it.
So if you're going to post here, it should be discussing what you are going to do to protest. Don't want to protest? Think it's unnecessary? Skip this thread. Otherwise it will end up being a repeat of the episode thread with people debating Omarosa's actions.
Thanks for your assistance in keeping this on track.

To help in the next part of the protest if any watch the next episode (Feb. 21st) and want to help, please note any commercials that run during the show. Doesn't matter whether the ads air in the USA or Canada.
I will write an email to the companies complaining about their sponsorship.
As much as I want to do this I will not watch that show ever again.

First of all, I can’t stand Omorosa either. However, to say that what she said was child abuse is stretching things. I find her presence on the show to be offensive, particularly due to her conduct in Season One.
However, sponsors DO listen. I don’t know if any of you are aware of this but in 2004 soon after she became “popular”, Clairol was going to use her for an Herbal Essence commercial. People were outraged, and wrote letters and e-mails in protest. Result was that Clairol RETRACTED the offer (she didn't get one cent) and scrapped the commercial

God knows I can't stand O., but to e-mail Tito, Trace and Marilu is stretching it. They weren't on the Hydra team, and remember: Reality shows are heavily edited and they might've said something but their comments were edited out to make "good tv."
I think after this, Omarosa will be lucky if she can find work on a revival of "Match Game" or anything else because of her behavior.

I have no reason to protest the Apprentice, but I did jot down the advertisers that ran commercials during the broadcast last night. It was an interesting little exercise, if only to become aware of the sheer volume of advertisements that bombard us during a one-hour show. However, I noticed that the true sponsors of the Apprentice are listed in the credits at the end; it goes by quickly, so the only two I caught were Macy's and Tommy Hilfiger. Perhaps someone with Tivo can help, or not, or perhaps even Google?
