This is a thread to post your opinions on commercials that would not normally be warmly accepted. A safe commercial opinion space, if you will. I'll start:
The Burger King doesn't scare me. He's annoying as hell, sure, but he doesn't freak me out like he does most people.
A horrible commercial (unless it's really offensive-like "let's make fun of a rape victim" offensive) will not stop me from buying the company's product if the product is actually good. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather see a great commercial than a bad one, but it's ultimately the product's quality that matters to me.

I will admit that the King has never bothered me...and the Mucinex blob? No reaction.

I've never been repulsed or turned off by just about any commercial.....except....
When Quizno's had the commercial when the guy jumped into a trash barrel and took out a Quizno's wrapper and started licking it. That was gross.
Commercials are just fantasy.

My UO: I hate, hate, HATE the new Diet Chocolate Cherry Dr. Pepper commercial. Dis-gust-ing. Showing me roll cakes and chocolate-covered cherries--other things I hate---doesn't help. It just looks and sounds gross.

Every time I see a PSA, I feel like Scrooge pre-ghost visit.

Every time I see a PSA, I feel like Scrooge pre-ghost visit.
That reminds me of those anti-drug commercials that used to run when I was a kid, where they have kids saying like, "I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up," "I want to be a ballerina when I grow up," "I want to be a firefighter when I grow up," and then at the end they show some druggie and it goes, "No one ever said, 'I want to be a junkie when I grow up.'" Those used to piss me off when I was a kid, and it made me want to be a junkie when I grew up. (Of course, I don't think I knew what a junkie was.)

Given how the commercial topics are already organized heavily by how you reacted to the ad, I don't see how there's anything here that couldn't go in an existing thread. So, sorry, but closing this.
